I have terrible chest pain and back pain and was told it may be acid reflux. I started taking a medication for that. I also have high blood pressure and I am treating that. I have a stabbing chest pain. Like a knife is twisting there. I just sit still until it passes. I changed my diet, no pork, no red meat, no cows milk, only lean chicken and green vegetables. I stopped smoking 8 years ago. No skin issues. I have to live hor my boys. My oldest has nonverbal autism. Thank you for this video

Very interesting video! I started with a panic attack 20 years ago and anxiety issues for 10 years, like I was having a heart attack. Then, LPR/Gerd issues caused additional issues, but no heart attack. I was in excellent health during this time. Then, moved to Seattle area, raking leaves in December and I started getting "mild" chest pain, like indigestion. The pain did not go away all night. Went into the hospital the next morning and had (3) stints put in. The mental adjustment freaked me out, but I am fine now.

I’m so glad you’re ok! I’ve been with chest pain in a specific area for over a week now, it’s not going away and I can only sleep on my back. I get tired very easily almost winded from very little activity. 😢

Thank you Dr Frida . It’s so hard to discern if you are having a heart attack . I presented at ER with chest pains . After the necessary tests I was told it was stress . I felt so guilty of taking up the time of the doctors and felt like a dill . So scared that one day it might be the real thing but it will be too late .

The one problem is that both "anxiety" and "gerd" could actually be heart attacks, and patients get gaslit until they don't even trust their pain and won't go in to get checked. "It's just anxiety/indigestion. It's nothing," said by far too many people who have died of heart attacks.

Another video with great information and intention. I love how doctor Frita explains herself but tbh…. Some of these videos don’t do anything but scare the living shit out of me. Like every time I get shortness of breath, or I feel a tingle in my arm, I have to hurry up and run to the ER ( which I have done btw thanks to videos like this). Then other videos talk about how inadequate doctors are at diagnosing the real problem and you can’t rely on them to help you. It’s all so terrifying and depressing. It’s like what’s the point ? You’re damned if you do , and you’re damned if you don’t. And believe me I am trying to do everything right ( health wise). No sugar or carbs except veggies, drink plenty of water … stuff like that . The doctor then says that it’s anxiety. It’s like you just can’t win!!! Anyways… that’s my 2 cents

I had all the symptoms of heart attack but only lasted an hour. I went to A&E and by the time they checked me, I was fine and the found nothing. This happened few days i ignored. After that 7 months later it happened again i didn't go to hospital thinking of last experience. The next day went to GP they found something going on and prescribed inhaler and the next day i had ECG which was normal 😢 so how do i get to prove to doctors i do have something going on.

The pain that I am feeling is like unbelievably horrible.. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, but this came on all of a sudden and it kind of just kind of was dull and then my husband thought maybe it was gas and I went to the Bathroom and a few times not gas. It got worse than I went to grab my medications out of the cupboard in the minute I lifted my arm it pulled on my heart. It's so bad and I have no idea if i'm having a heart attack. Having chest pain is not out of the norm for me. But it is when it's painful like this. That's when I get concerned. And it's hard because women's heart attacks are very different than men's.

My chest pain with a tight throat pain too. It is like an incredible intense pain like a BAD muscle spasm and hurts like a S.O.B.
I do have ME/FMS-CFS and on fentanyl and all the doctors treat me like I’m an addict. Most, including GYNs, will not take me as a patient.
What they don’t understand, or believe me, that all opiates don’t work on me. A head surgeon informed me of this after an emergency surgery.
I get absolutely NO euphoric feeling from any opiates.
When I was 27 I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out and I had a small Vicodin and I was literally high for four days! I can understand why people get hooked on that feeling. I’m not one of those people.
I have to be 100%, 100% of the time. Probably from some childhood trauma.
I found out when I was 40 that pain meds didn’t work for me and had an emergency surgery that my body no longer reacted to opiates or any pain medication.l like I did when I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed at 27.
    I’m 57 now and been 100% disabled since 2004.
I really hate male doctors. It sure is hard to find a good female doctor in Los Angeles that hasn’t bought into the current “group think”.
