I think you are correct about stores having less items. What I think would be better is if stores had associate that knew anything about fashion and were more interested in helping people finding what looks stylish as opposed to just making a sale.
I agree with you on all your points. I'd also like fast fashion to go away and clothes to be produced ethically and sustainably (as much as they can be) :).
@@Lukas_Schanderl And how little the producers are paid. And how bad for the environment the petroleum-based cloths are... I really enjoy the Garmology podcast for delving into these issues.
You're right. Especially once the percentage of polyester is too high, the clothes can't be recycled anymore, right? I read that up to 20% (I think) is fine, but anymore than that and you can't seperate the fabrics.
@@Lukas_Schanderl I don't know about that. I try to avoid polyester entirely. A bit of spandex/nylon in socks is ok to help them keep their shape, but pretty much everything else I wear is cotton, wool, or linen :)
Lukas, you got class 👍 I totally agreed. Common sense & use your full length mirror at home. Tight jeans out, ripped jeans 👖 omg , dirty rubbers shoes . I prefer classic blazers Yes, gym clothes are for the gym . 😜
Great points but the one that really stood out for me is all these people wearing gym clothes everywhere, especially at restaurants. That’s not a good look outside of the gym. Also I believe the square toe shoe issue is with men that don’t know or care to know about men’s fashion. Those are the guys that when they need a new pair of shoes just go to their local department store and grab that cheap pair shoes that are on sale.
Thank you for watching 👌 I know, right? It's so strange how it's become the norm to walk around wearing gym clothes. Great take on the square toe shoes :) That sounds about right.
I have an idea for a video. Break down some people's style. Talk a little bit about the way they dress, where can we find similar pieces and etc. You can start with Michele Morrone for example. That would be so cool.
Can you do a video on 5 summer and 5 winter old money / quiet lixury type outfits so that i can see those outfits and wear those like uniforms all my life. I love your style cos it mine is the same and i dont want to recreate outfits from scratch cos i dont have the skills.
Are shoe trees necessary for leather shoes or even sneakers? If so, should I get a plastic one or a red cedar one? Currently, I'm not using them. I am debating if I should invest in getting one 😅
Cedar shoe trees are amazing :) I used to have pretty smelly shoes and now I always put them in my shoes when I get home (sneakers, dress shoes etc.) and they smell great :) Also helps to prevent creasing because it absorbs the moisture. I can really recommend getting a pair of nice cedar shoes trees and also some cedar or leather insoles.

1. Henley looks like winter underwear. Indeed we have a local company that has made them for years, first as underwear. 2. The tight fit is seen more in pants than in jackets, so this throws the entire suit off to have a box up top and tight sticks down below. One needs to match the looseness of pants with the looseness of the jacket for a visual balance. 3. Keep ripped jeans to fix the car, Jeans should not be bought torn by the factory. 4. Out of style now for years! 5. A lapel should take up half the shoulder space. 6. It is childish to draw attention to your socks, polish your shoes and let it go at that. 7. No comment. lol

I want to add another point, and I see this on Reddit or Somewhere more US-centric. But people should stop wearing OBD shirt with every outfit. It doesn’t look very elegant and more like dressed by the internet. Ps. This is more of note I made for myself, to stop myself from buying and covering more OBD. I’ve got two: blue and white. And I want to branch out.

What is your position on flat front pants vs pleated pants?
Thank you for watching :)
I like both styles, and I think my pants are about 50/50 flat front or single pleated trousers.
What type do you prefer?
I prefer flat front because I think pleats make you look fat and they create strange bubble around your waist when you sitting down
