M23 closes borders, stranding Congolese businessmen

Congolese businessmen who purchased merchandise in Kampala are stranded after M23 rebels overran Goma city in DR Congo and closed two key border crossings: Bunagana and Gisenyi, the main routes to the city. Passengers traveling on the Kampala-Goma route are also affected, with buses parked and waiting for updates, according to Sulait Natukunda, Managing Director of Friends Bus Company.
