Like in Three Houses her support with Byleth she says has noodle arms when she’s really powerful. Plus she’s lazy and doesn’t like to train, a lot of that power is probably from her Crest and Goneril blood
@@KamiPain75 Dimitri's route does resolve basically everything tbh, including the Duscur stuff. It's the route I'd consider the most complete (SB isn't really complete in the sense of we don't know what happens with the war after the final battle against Rhea and Thales, but it's otherwise somewhat complete? There are a lot of what ifs left behind, but I'd say it's right in the middle of completeness compared to the other two).
@@KamiPain75 I'd say Dimitri's route wraps up the story pretty well, it's the only ending that actually _feels_ like an ending. Though it should be said that Edelgard's route has a pretty okay ending too as long as you recruit Byleth.
I think the main reason why this route is vastly different from the original compared to the rest of them is because Claude did not have Byleth with him in this timeline. Since he would not have someone to replace Rhea and help him achieve his ambitions of a unified Fodlan he turned against the church since it was the only option. Also even if he recruited Byleth Byleth would’ve been a mercenary and not his professor so he wouldn’t of gotten to know Byleth. Basically what I am saying is that Golden Wildfire basically tells you what Verdant Wind would look like if Byleth wasn’t the main character.
I still find it funny that Felix Dimitri and Rodrigue ( I may of misspelled his name here) have no idea that the boats the Federation used to get to Fldarius (excuse the obvious misspelling) territory are Alymran Navy ships. Edelgard in the original three houses was the only one who knew the ships used for the Dedriu (excuse the misspelling) map in CF besides Claude himself.
Oh, no, Shahid is like an Almyran pre-timeskip Lorenz. At least Nader is back. 😍 And, omg, Judith, my love! It's so epic and adorable how Manuela, Dorothea, and Hanneman just go ham when commonfolk are vulnerable. Especially Manuela. She's at her best when she goes all mama hen when protecting people.
Real talk, even if I dislike how Claude sides with the Empire in his Three Hopes incarnation, I don't think it's out of place for him to do so. Even in Three Houses, both Edelgard and Claude acknowledge that their ideals aren't so different. The storytelling is far better here too. Three Houses tells us Claude is a schemer, but Three Hopes actually goes out there and shows us multiple times. It's a shame that I really dislike the core gameplay of Fire Emblem Warriors, since literally almost every other aspect of the game is right up my alley. Massive props to the writers.
It wouldn't be an issue for Claude to join the empire in this route but the game depicts Claude as more gullible by buying into edelgard's propaganda on top of being counterproductive in achieving his goals by giving people in fodlan more reason to be hostile towards almyra and sreng. One of the main appeals in 3H was his curiosity about the truths in fodlan as well as never believing what he's told at fave value. So for the sake of making him more morally grey they got rid of a core aspect of his character. Also people saying he's not a schemer in 3H despite what he did with the almyra/holst as well as the church/byleth. He was even going on full depth explanations on why they were doing what they were doing before the map of that month.

@@Megajmaster1000 I don't mind it. This game basically shows the consequences of Claude not getting that one year at the monastery, and how he'd be without Byleth in the picture. His time at the monastery is what ignites his curiosity about Fódlan's history. And even when Byleth doesn't choose him, his tactics revolve around him having faith in whichever side they chose. In 3 Hopes, he remains a far more pragmatic character as 3 Houses hinted he was. He doesn't have the time to start caring about the truth, nor does he leave things up to faith. Of all the house leaders, he's the only one that you can say is really in a worse position and mentality than his 3 Houses counterpart
I do like Claude's new look as he looks a lot handsome than his original design from Fire Emblem: Three Houses and I can't believe in this version of Golden Deer that Lady Rhea would be a villian in this story instead of the slither in the dark.
Wow I was not expecting to love this route so much, but this is everything I wanted from a Claude route. What really stuck out to me is that it feels like the closest thing to a golden route? I may be mistaken but I don't think any of the classmates from any house dies here. Granted there are still some named character deaths, but still! And it looks like Claude was able to do the impossible and soften both Edelgard and Dimitri! I wish we got to see Claude actually talk with and try and persuade Dimitri, but getting him to actually abandon the central church at the end was huge, and I think his conversation with Edelgard at the end of Chapter 14 saw him persuading her that Fodlan can be reformed without totally uniting it and disposing of its current leaders. That's what I really love about this route. A big disappointment I had with Claude's route in Three Houses was that rather than being a unique third way to end the war, it felt like a reskinned version of the Church/Blue Lions route. But here, Claude was able to find a third way, a middle ground to ending the war that doesn't totally restore the power of the church, but also doesn't completely change and unite Fodlan. Claude found a way to destroy the Church and start reforming Fodlan without leading to the complete collapse of the Empire or Kingdom, thus truly minimizing casualties, and feeling like the most Claude thing ever. This route reminded me why his house was my first pick way back when Three Houses first released, and it was a joy to see his character finally realized in this manner. Thank you again for uploading these! I can't imagine the work you had to put into it, but it was a great ride to see these three routes and return to Fodlan, many thanks!
Thank you so much for this video, I now managed to stop Ferdie from escaping, got Bernie but I also could defeat Byleth too! I kept getting lost as time was running out, I'm not used to musou games but so far i enjoy it but I mainly want to see the story unfold!
After watching all three routes of this Three Hopes, here's my personal opinions : 1. In Scarlet Blaze route, we get to fight both Thales (the leader of the Agarthans) and Rhea (the leader of Central Church) since Edelgard really wishes to dismantle both organizations completely, but in the end their deaths are very uncertain. 2. In Azure Gleam and Golden Wildfire, we only get to fight one of them, but at least Dimitri and Claude both get their jobs truly done (with Dimitri killing Thales and Claude killing Rhea).
Thank you!!! Claude’s route has always been my favorite. It’s so fun. Also I ship Claude hard with Byleth but I can see him with Shez to. It’s amazing and has given me even more things to love about all these characters. Again Thank you and I hope you enjoyed the game as much as me!!!😁😄😁
One thing I do appreciate this game offers is the ability to recruit familiar members on the battlefield. In 3H the slaughter that would happen post time skip made the story too sad :,( Which I know is the point or the message about the cruelty of war. Sure, you could recruit before things went down and you could try to avoid battling certain characters of the enemy but I just wanna save EVERYBODY AS THEIR PROFESSOR!! :c The students are all my precious children!
IMO, this is the one route of both this game and Houses that I would call bad. The first part was nothing incredibly interesting, but could serve as build up for part 2 and that part has some great ideas. But those ideas either get concluded too early and kind of abruptly (Claude's characterization that was in chapter 9) or gets too little screentime (Claude and Edelgard cooperating). But the worst part would have to be Claude vs Rhea...because why? Yes, he explains that he thinks the church and Rhea keeps Fódlan shackled to the past but that barely gets any backup and he never brings up what he plans to do when it has been removed, resulting in the final boss having no emotional core or connection between protagonist and antagonist. Combine this with most of Claude's actions getting no consequences or are as lethal as the game describes and you get a route that doesn't seem like it cares about its story. And if the game doesn't care then why should I?
I wouldn't be surprised if that was the joke even as she was designed in 3 Houses. "Okay, tiny mage...with hammer." "Yeah...but what if...BIG. FUCKING. HAMMER!" "...You sonuvagun, I'm in."
Look how they massacred my boy. At least the route isn't lying to you by acting like killing Rhea is good thing with her speech at the end, playing Funeral of Flowers, and the epilogue saying Claude's plan failed. But that just makes Claude look worse.
*Melody of Clarity, Funeral of Flowers is SB final boss music (yes ik it's kinda of a remix but it's like that lol) also Rhea's speech doesn't really mean much and the epilogue leaves it ambiguous
@@moon4236 The war still doesn't end (like in all routes) so Claude's stupid plan of kill Rhea to end the war (which we already knew wouldn't work from Houses) is shown to be wrong. And the ending portrays Rhea and the Church so much positively than CF, with her even saying she's fighting for humanity.
