Not at all! I love this brainstorm! It sounds a lot like how I think of titles usually 😂 thanks for the help! Even just "carried away" is a great title!
My pleasure! I LOVE to create word grouping, slogans, and so forth... use a LOT of alliteration in my word-smithing. LOL And once again... your channel is DELIGHTFUL! @@flanzella
I had put these pieces aside so long ago so I was excited to see it come to life. Definitely all good 😂 I have had a lot of people ask for a video they can collage alongside so I tried to make it as long as possible without being "boring", but usually voice overs break up the "boring". It was quite the challenge.
I’m new to your channel and have already learned so much! I’m new to collage and never realized that there is definitely a technique to, let’s call it) good cutting. I’m wondering, if you don’t already have an episode on the subject of cutting, please would you consider doing one? Here’s where learning from a perfectionist really pays off! Many thanks for all you do and for sharing your inspiring talent with us. ❤
This is a great idea for a video and is definitely something I've thought about doing, I'll make sure to make one soon. Cutting skills one of those things that is hard to teach because I go on autopilot when cutting 😂 I'll have to take the time to think about what I do to do the perfect cut. My tip for now is just to practice! It's the most important part. Thank you for sharing! ❤
@@flanzella Many thanks for your speedy reply! I wait in anticipation! Totally realize that it’s a craft that’s a challenge to teach but I know your just pondering the topic will light some sparks in that creative brain of yours. Often I slow your videos down a lot and turn off the sound and just watch you cut! That alone has helped me immensely. Things like taking tight corners or how the weight of the paper affects the choice of cutting tool and on and on. Can you tell that I’m smitten with Collaging? And Your videos were my entry drug!! 😆
@wileycom I'm happy they have been so helpful 😁 it reminds me of why I set out to make a collage YT channel in the first place, there's not that many great resources out there! Glad to help you get hooked on collage!
@@flanzella: I found myself cringing at your LACK of cutting technique! I could not watch you cutting in real time. Mind you, I am not criticizing the work itself, which is good, but hand-cutting precision is important, and from my perspective you are just too sloppy.
Ive just started following you and I thought this was fabulous, and interesting to see where you went with it. As well, an eye opener to see the patience needed to cut and the need for an understanding of composition for placement. I learnt alot. Creating (analogue) collage is definitely an art. "Letting Go" was how I interpreted the overall piece (peace 🙃) Thanks for sharing.
Welcome! So glad it inspired you. I think a lot of people that don't collage don't understand the time that goes into each piece, intentionally stitching together all sorts of pieces to make a new meaning. Thanks 😊
Leah, your imagination is boundless and your creativity is so inspirational. After finding your channel a short time ago, you have me looking at the world around me with a fresh perspective and it's exciting. I've begun pulling out forgotten craft supplies and scouring the book section of my local thrift stores! You already know this, and forgive me if I am offering unwanted advice but did you know your paper trimmer has a rail along the top and bottom that is positioned at a 90 ° angle from your blade? If you begin with a piece of paper that has at least one straight edge and butt it up against one of these rails, your trimmer will automatically cut a straight line at perfect 90° angle. I mention this because I noticed you spending a bit of time lining up your cuts unnecessarily. Forgive me if I am over stepping or sound like I am criticizing, that is not my intention. In the event you didn't know, I just wanted to offer this time saving tip since I've been using the same trimmer for years. I adore your channel and I'm already looking forward to your next upload! 😊
I really appreciate this message, thank you so much. I hope you're able to make some beautiful collages yourself. Thank you for the tip! It's one of those things I "know" but often forget about since having a mat is still rather new to me so I appreciate the reminder. Many more videos to come!
Haha! It simply implies satisfaction of sensation from audio. So this one has more paper crumpling, less voice over explaining the process. "Autonomous sensory meridian response"
Leah it's really inspiring to see your collage making process in real time, the final piece looks amazing and would definitly make a great print,it's like we are looking over your shoulder as you work. Maybe call the piece "Morning flight of new creative horizons". Your pieces have a great mix of retro and contemporary that works so well.(matt) P.S am really being inspired by the september prompt list and am posting on Pintrest as I'm going.
@@flanzella I love that you took the colours of the plates and cups and found those colours in other pieces you used to make this collage, the balloons, the ariel city background and it gives a unity to the final piece, and it also has a sense of movement too.As usual I have created a board for your September prompts,if you have some time take a look and let me know what you think.I will post more pieces as I create them.Thank you for the creative challenge and inspiration the prompts spark in me. Love the ASMR! Also I have severe image envy, such as I want that fiesta ware ad, I’m still trying to get over the baked bean and Campbell soup cans from a few videos ago 😂
@@flanzella oh, I think you’ve already cut them up, but what a thoughtful idea ☺️ you’re sweet. I’m always on the hunt for Campbell soup cans “of a certain size” for a mixed media series I’m doing.
@@flanzella Hahaha. Ok I was actually cutting out some images today and using big scissors 🤦♀️ I thought about you and laughed at myself for doing the same thing 🤣
I enjoyed this
Glad to hear it ☺️
Beautiful piece. I would call it Rise and Shine.
Love this title!
Breakfast is in the air! Thanks for your inspiration 😊

Love the collage, but the asmr is horror . So annoying. But no problem, I turn of the sound and listen my own music .
It's definitely a dividing topic 😂 I prefer music and voice over as well but my DMs are full of requests for it!
