tip for non siege players, blitz(flashbang shield guy) can be shot in the legs when he's sprinting, there are many ways to counter play him in siege.

That in a game where the ttk is still fast lol x defiant ttk is significantly slower a smart blitz player will have a field day when this comes out
6:18 the symbol on the left looks like shock barbed wire. It's a utility play that Bandit can do in Rainbow 6. Also, just to fill in other non-R6 people, the three gadgets seem to be Blitz's riot shield (with classic flash), Jager's ADS (trophy system), and the already mentioned Bandit electric barbed wire (area denial utility that can be destroyed with an explosive)

I think how GSK will work is they'll be a map control and anti-ability faction
Passive: IQs scanner, electronic gadgets are highlighted even through walls
Ability 1: Jager's ADS, a trophy system that zaps throwables and (maybe) electronics too
Ability 2: Bandit's Electro Barbed wire. When enemies walk through it they are slowed, make a sound cue and take dmg overtime
Ultimate: Blitz's flash riot shield.
Big ups on XDefiant so far and season 1 looks like an absolute banger

Jev if you wanna see all the rank emblems or go a bit back on a video anytime using the < > keys go by frames. You can easily hold it down to not go back so much or forward just a tip.
From what I've found, GSK isn't a real thing. It seems to be Ubisoft's own amalgamation of 2 German SF units, GSG9 and KSK. GSG9 are essentially a militarized German federal police, while KSK are like the German version of the SAS.
I haven't found anything in regards to a German SF group known as the GSK.
Also, it would be pretty cool if they did a camo system where you get 1 camo for getting every weapon bronze, 1 camo for getting every weapon silver, and 1 final camo for getting every weapon gold.

Ok I've found out what the faction's abilities are:
1st Ability - Electric Barbed Wire: Similar to Bandit's ability, you can put barbed wire on the ground with an electric effect, so an enemy going through it will get electrocuted and slowed down.
2nd Ability - ADS: Jager's ability, which is basically a trophy system, but with the difference from R6 is that it is much smaller and you can throw it.
Ultra - Blitz's Shield: Would be the same as Blitz in R6, run n flash enemies and kill em with your pistol while having cover. Will be super super annoying.
Sup Jev! R6 nerd here, GSK is an OG faction in r6 and was an original fan favorite. Trophy system is the gadget from an OG defender and blitz’s flash shield is obv a fan fav attacker/meme attacker. Expect a lot more R6 related updates and I’m predicting an assassins creed update that adds assassinations!
just downloaded the game last week and i’ve already grinded the tac-50 to gold and now ive got the M44 almost bronze🔥

@@EchoooI’ve also managed to get Tac-50 gold and I haven’t even played that much. With the double xp weekends plus the boosters it’s been quite easy. Can go up like 6 or 7 levels per match if you get a decent amount of kills with the boosters on.

yo jev you should check out darker and darker. its a extraction game based in a medival dungeon with monsters . It has tons of classes and different mobs and has alot of potential.
So they got Jaeger with the trophy, Blitz’s flashbang shield as his ult, and Bandits electric barb wire trap as the abilities for GSG9. Pretty cool.
And apparently iq will be the passive, see gadgets n stuff thru walls

From what I hear, the Sawed Off is gonna be a sidearm, so you can have a little mini shotgun as a secondary. Think of it sort of like the Marshal in Cold War.
Hey jev, thought i would explain a little bit, so in rainbow six seige (R6) there are factions, lore wise, and GSK is one of them, each character is someone from R6, the guy with the shield is called blitz and his whole sthick is he has a riot shield with flashbang sort-of things, the mine that acts like a trophy system is called a "jager ADS" from the character called jager (pronounced yay-ger, not jay-ger) and the ADS blocks an grenade before going into a 30 second cooldown, and it looks like all the GSK characters might have barbed wire like the game, where it slows you downs and possibly does damage to you while youre in it
That gadget at start is basically a trophy system the other abilities looks like it will be electrified barbed wire and the ult is the awesome flash shield good old Blitz is a beast of a op in r6 siege. Looking forward to see the Assassins creed faction wonder if they'll have something like the ripper from Blops 3.
This is clear cut inspiration from Siege. Imagine the collabs.

@jev the symbols are shock wire which in rainbow slow you down and provide sound queus for enemies inside them and do slight damage like 5 a tick and the ult is probably a rally or inspire thing it looks like the military symbol from rainbow so prob maybe like a slight hp boost for all allies or move speed and reload or something there isnt an ability with that icon in rainbow i dont believe
ADS(the thing on the wall) is basically a trophy system. Map looks similar but still very differenr

in multiple parts of the trailer you can see the LVOA-C, from the iron sights it looks like an unsupressed honey badger
Bro now there is actually reason to grind for camos, since the game is live service and they arent changing games every year, you will be able to play one game and still use your camos you unlocked after a couple of years
I’m pretty sure that mastery skin shown in the trailer is the Platinum skin, just that it’s very reflective and due to the background it looks kinda blueish

the dude in with the shield is Blitz his shield flashes people and blinds with a bit of a cooldown per flash or was the last time i played r6 the trophy system type gadget is from Jager which can destroy 3 throwables each or at least in r6
One thing i missed on this vid which has very much been overlooked is in the mastery camo clip , it seems they are inspecting weapon , so weapon inspect may also be coming

The "trophy system" you saw is the A.D.S. from R6, it zaps projectiles and nades out of the air, and yeah the flashbang shield has been in R6 since launch lmaoooo
