Nice comparison Iffy. The 360 seemed to show raindrops on your white fence much better - but the up close is no bueno. I used my cell phone with a screen/lens protector for 90% of my videos. Had a nice Canon G7 I used...but dirt eventually got inside the lens. Cell phone from then on out.
Thx, i used a Sony RX for a while and it was really good. Does not have the stabilization as the action cams and not really one that i would want to have out in the rain and mud.
I use a 2x lens on my go pro, 4x was to much, 2x was well all around, glad I watched the video at a distance 360 is good but man close is bad must be a 10 foot focal length.
I've been using the fujifilm xp140. I mostly do water hunts. It doesn't need a case. It suits the type of hunting pretty good and has the option to zoom.
@IffySignals there's no external mic port. I wouldn't be able to use an external mic in the water anyway. I was using the knock off "No Pros" they were a bit sketchy.
I think the AcePro has a better sharper overalll clearer for sure.. I am not one who would use either as i am a poor boy.. either one would probably make my videos better in the long run but using phone does ok enough to get me by.. Thanks for showing us the different in the video quality AcePro is way better then Gopro and you can also record longer too.. Peace
There's even a macro lens for the GoPro sold on Amazon. I think that would be good for what you do. The Ace Pro has been a disappointment since I bought it.
Very disappointing for that Insta360 on showing finds. I found the best for close-up shots is my Canon M50 mirrorless, but I don't take that out when it is muddy, raining or snowing.
I'm currently using the Akaso v50x and I'm pretty happy with it for having a channel that will never take off, I don't have the easy going TH-cam personality, I freeze up on camera and can't think of anything to say so my vids are silent But I'm thinking of upgrading to a GoPro, because I think I can't use the Akaso as a camera over wifi, which is a deal breaker for me, I want to keep both my camera and phone plugged into a battery bank while live streaming
Heck yeah another helpful video Iffy! Greatly appreciate the info! Very useful for sure 👍
Thx Johnny
Wow what a difference, at first I thought I would like the insta, but then close up its no comparison! Great video
Thanks, i was hoping to see the same or better from the Insta. I like it, but no good for up close.
This is awesome information! I was thinking about getting that cam, thanks for sharing!
Welcome 👍

Hey John! Definitely better colors, definition and features on the 360. Looking to see if i can get it better with a pop on diopter.
Nice video Bud. Hey , I heard the words Iffy Signals in the new Quarter Hoarder video...lol...
Thx Mike!! 😆
Thanks for the heads up on that one, I’ve also been wanting to bail on GoPro but…bail to WHAT? That’s the question.
I like this Insta, but the close up is embarrassing. Im searching for 1x or 2x filter options that will help.
Awesome information' thank you for sharing.
Welcome Jimmy
I would choose neither. I've been using a second hand pixel 6 pro and it does the job really well.

Thx for the info. Ill check out the 2x lens 👍

Nice! Ill check it out.

Hey Danny, the Ace definitely looks better to me as well. It suffers up close which is pointless for Metal Detecting.
@@IffySignals yeah i saw that. And there is no way to change setting on ISO or anything else..

Thanks, i did so those diopter attachments that people are making/selling. Going to try it out.
Great video thanks!
Welcome
Thanks for the informational video.
Welcome Fred.
Great video. I’m sure you saved a lot of people $$$. 👍
Thanks Doug
I wonder how the DJI sports action camera does. $199 for the Action 2. They look pretty good. I just wonder how the close up is.
Good question.

Thx for the info Lizz. I have a Sony that i like but like you said i don’t want it muddy or wet.
When I get home later tonight, I’ll use my DJI Osmo action 4. I now have a video to compare to to with the Insta360 and the GoPro.
Thanks 👍

My gopro is always locking up, they all do it. Such a pita.
I've been using the DJI Action 4 for about a month now and it's better than GoPro IMO.
Thx for the info.
