Same comments from a few weeks back on "The One", what is happening to Gibson competing with their own products essentially botching up a release that could have been better planned to ensure both guitars do not compete against each other but rather were presented to costumers a two different tier choices at the same time. Very likely a lot of those that bought "The One" including myself are annoyed that another model with similar specs is released with the option to have additional features for a slight premium... and now as the costumer I have to either return the first guitar or sell it if it's past the 30 days and then possibly purchase this new version. All could have been avoided if Gibson was honest and transparent and presented both options released at the same time.
Nobody needs to spend an extra 1000 bucks for binding. My Fenders don't have it and they seem to okay. The Studios have always been hammered by brainwashed gear snobs. It's nice to see Studios gaining acceptance. I'd never buy a Standard.
I feel like schecter have better guitars in the tempest and solo models. Why gibson are you so afraid of putting a hot pickup in the bridge? Why cant you use stainless steel bigger frets? Why no active pickups?I bought the blueberry burst studio a few months ago,i had to put seymour duncan pickups in it as the burst buckers sound like shite epiphone pickups.Ground the caps they have on their stupid coil split pots and install kluson revolution locking tuners as the "gibson" deluxe tuner feel like epiphone tuners.Get your act together gibson, we notice the short cuts.PRS can make a guitar that works for multiple generations why cant you?
it is absolutely gorgeous, finally the folks at gibson realized times have changed
Love this new model!
It's more like a Les Paul Classic without the hard case and binding, different pups and an ebony fretboard.

Awesome Steve 🤘
No Poker chip??
If only they would lower the price...
The Epiphone Greeny is $1,599 🤦🏻♂️ the Epiphone 59 Standard is $1,299 🤦🏻♂️
I don't know why there isn't a left handed version. There's becoming less options for left handed players
2200,- without binding? 😮💨
the flame maple top right to the edge is better than shitty binding around the body lol you see the flame in it, looks killer
The upgraded pickups are the main reason for the price hike I think

At this point you could get an epi greeny or one of the inspired by custom shop epis for less and still have a better guitar
100% would rather get the Adam Jones custom or a Firebird V
I think the studio session would be better. That contour cut and trans ebony with dark hardware is hard to beat. I’ll be getting one😊
@@seansullivan7131I played one today and was really blown away by it! Really really recommend this one

Why did you buy a Gibson if Schecter and PRS make guitars more suited to your playing?
@doug1274 the headstock dumb dumb

gibson expects it customers in Australia to spend $3142 for a new guitar with a scratch on it are you kidding me or what.
