If you love Monet, you should do a day trip and visit his house in Giverny. It is beautiful! And was his inspiration for many of his paintings :)

If you like impressionism, I would suggest Musee Marmottan Monet. The building was originally a house but now is dedicated to Monet and other impressionist paintings. It is one of my favorites and I think you would enjoy it as well.

Okay I'm going to give you 1 restaurant recommendation.
L'Entrecôte de Paris which you'll find on 29 Rue de Marignan. Get the menu with the simple salad and the entrecote, it's magical. And if you go with a friend share the profiteroles as a dessert, or face it solo but prepare yourself for defeat.

@@TaylorMorello I'm not sure about the Ritz but when I visited Paris in 2020 (before the pandemic) Peninsula had live piano music, covering modern pop songs which was fun. The dining room where they have the high afternoon tea is gorgeous and there was a wonderful buffet style selection of baked goodies and desserts ... Plus you can add on a glass of champagne to the package and the standard package comes with tea, traditional tower of finger sandwiches and muffins (people got up to the buffet style dessert table). I thought it was outstanding and super chic. Again, not sure about the Ritz.

Enjoying your blog so much. I was just in Paris this June. I got really cute pink gym shoes in Paris. They are GEOX. There are several stores in Paris. Saved my feet. I to was a ballet dance and teach now. You have to tour the Paris Opera and get the audio. 🩰

I noticed in Paris that if you don’t attempt to speak French then the service is worse. Paris had that reputation of bad customer service.
