It was so bittersweet to see that (last) morning ceiling shot in the pink apartment. That being said, how sweet of Lyle to bring flowers and drinks/snacks :) Looks like he's going to be a thoughtful person to live with! Your move sounded so stressful, luckily that's now behind and you can enjoy the move-in and unpacking process. It's so fun to make a new place home, enjoy!
I am amazed how many clothes you were able to put in your former apartment. Moving is a mixture of emotions, sad, exciting, stressful and a lot of work. Your new apartment has so much space and a wonderful view. Enjoy every moment of this stage in your life. I’m 69 and your videos allow me to feel young again. 💝🦩

I found your channel about 3 weeks ago and, not a word of a lie, have binged 42 video. I just counted. You are just a joy to watch, even when you're talking about hard things. Your personality is just so lovely! What a crazy move! But you've gone from one beautiful apartment to another one and I'm super excited to see the memories you create there! Also, as I was counting your videos I watched, I realized I'd missed your shoe collection. So, it's about to be 43 videos watched. :)
I’m gonna miss the old place. It gave me such New York vibes. I’m super excited for the new space and new beginnings, you didn’t ask, but my advice is to be gentle to yourself and your boo through these changes. It’s definitely an adjustment living with a partner. Remember to live you life, don’t let you life revolve around you partner so much that you lose sight of you hopes, dreams and goals of the future. 💗

So when I first found your channel 2 years ago, the first video I saw was your apartment hunt where you found the apartment you just left. I’ve enjoyed watching you transform that apartment into your own place and it was very cute and I’ve even taken some design ideas for my own place. Taylor, I was actually looking forward to this vlog today! It must have been so hard to move out of your sweet apartment.... &, I cannot believe what happened with the movers, I would have cried, too. Agreed, they should not have left the moving truck open or your stuff down there in some bin that ppl think is holding free stuff. That's nuts! Esp on the streets in New York!
On a positive, your new home already looks perfect, even without anything in it - - can't wait to see it all put together. : ) : ) And, how nice to be able to get your laundry done in your own place..... what a luxury! You have such wonderful memories in your heart and on video. Thank you for sharing. Was impressed with the way the movers protected your furniture with plastic! At least they had air conditioning and an elevator at your destination!

Looks wonderful! My husband would have space issues! He would literally just tell me you have too much stuff honey. It’s a huge change to move in together. I had to give up a lot when we did finally make that decision. I had tons of shoes and furniture and had to part with much of it. But we ended up having to sell a bunch of his stuff too. Don’t forget Lyle is changing his lifestyle too. Men hide their feelings, make sure he is ok with everything and that is doesn’t come back later. Bachelor life to couple life is hard on some men.

Hey Taylor. This feeling when you feel happy and sad in the same time, ancient Greeks called harmolipi.
I moved recently too. Movers work so hard, it's a very taxing job. But generally speaking they don't have the kind of care and worry over people's stuff. I wish the moving companies would pay them good money and also ask them to be careful. But that would probably cost extra.

It's unfortunate that you were subjected to these things while moving😟. Not all moving companies are like the one you used.
When we relocated to nyc, we had the opposite experience with our moving company. We actually tipped and fed the gentlemen because we were so pleased with the service they provided.

Be careful .my last house was full of boxes like yours and I took a horrible fall!Packing outfit???No jeans?Dump those shoes...lol.Moving is very stressful........I usually lose 10 pounds!Love the pillows!!!!Color!!!!!My last movers were a nightmare and one of the reasons I will never move again!So happy you have a washer and dryer!!!You will get use to the street noise...it becomes like the ocean.You may want a white noise machine.OMG Kyle loves colors!!!!!!

It’s too bad that your movers deliberately tried to overcharge you - the moving business is poorly regulated, and the sort of attempted scam they tried to pull is all too common, especially when they see a single woman by herself who they think they can take unfair advantage of. I’m glad that you seem to have straightened it out. If I were there I would bring you a gift of bread and salt for your new home - bread so you would never go hungry, and salt so that your life in your new home would always have flavor.
Why couldn't Lyle or one of his parents be around to help you with the movers??????
