- Hoya growing in water for over 2 years? I can't believe it! A mini succulent tour of my garden that has survived our Winter frost. I was also surprise to see my Graptoveria Lovely Rose going pink. As per usual, too many plants to mention. You'll just have to watch the video. ☺

As of yesterday, I have 2 haworthia zebra flower-baby stem.... the flowers haven't opened yet. And..... my Mexican Snowball is growing a flower- baby stem! 💚🪴

We've had a week of frosty mornings and I'd like to think that most of them are adapting. It's not over till the fat lady sings, so I'm just waiting for Spring to get a true verdict. Thanks for watching and hope you're staying cool.

Such incredible succulents. One leaf wonder!! You are for sure. I wish my succus get measles 😝. The crested letizia is amongst my favourite. Its gorgeous. The aranjuez with me is blue😐. I saw the longissima round form i think near the pvns. They were looking like roses. Soo beautiful! If one decided to observe all the succulents and admire their beauty and take in all the pretty pots.. how many days would that take i wonder. Absolutely treat for the eyes. Thank you for sharing all that beauty!
I have my morning coffee while having a "quick look at" them and two hours felt like 10 minutes. I kept telling hubby that I swear the aliens must have abducted me. 😂

My lovely rose is getting a pink tinge on her too for first time, we have finally had a bit of winter sun here in Melbourne, I think it was that?🤔

I feel that the winter this year feels different from last year. Last year has a warmth in the air but this year seems to be bitter cold to the bone. Could also be age catching up; just like the lovely rose.😊

I’m nearing 50 and have fybromyalgia so feeling age is catching up with me too x
I came across your videos and I love watching them. I just wonder how you can keep up with all the maintenance of all your succulents, you have a lot. OMG!! I started gardening last year and I just love the succulents but my succulents are not growing at all. Watching your videos makes me rethink whether I am capable of growing them but I love succulents.
How do you maintain them in the winter cause I live in MD where winter can be really bad and I don’t think I’ll have energy to bring them inside them out again in spring. Do they survive outside during winter?
I really believe that the secret to taking care of succulents is a good soil mix; appropriate to the plant and pot used, occasional watering and neglect. I only spend a lot of time on the propagations(seed & leaf grown).
Most of them are grown outdoors. Rain, hail, shine and frost. Our temperature have gone down as low as -11°C/12.2°F and as high as 45°C/113°F.

Could you use heat packs in your little shade house to stop the frost damage? They are plastic mostly flat plates you heat in mic for 7 mins stay hot for hours could it save your baby's?

May I suggest going online to buy succulents. I'm in Canberra and buy succulents from all over the place. Good luck.

I use different ones and I incorporate my fertilizer into my soil mix. Please see below this video in the description box for my different soil mix.
