Stapes

Stapes is a quality 12 year old gelding who retired from his racing career back in April 2023. He is 16.2hh and 12 years old.
He is a quality gelding with a brilliant attitude to his work. He loves to get on with the job and have something to do. He's been chucked out in the field since his last run and is coming back into work at the moment.
He had a minor tendon strain during his last race and has had more than ample time turned away. He is sound, fit, well and back in work.
He is a 'get on with the job' kinda horse who doesn't have time for faffing around and marches out hacking in front or behind in a snaffle.
He's been out to the beach where he enjoyed playing in the sea, and was happy to take the lead or tuck in behind.
He will school sweetly in the area and comes down into a soft outline when asked. He has been a faithful P2P horse with over 25 runs and is a real workhorse. He loves having a job, and would be a top class team chaser or hedgehopper. He's easy to load and travel, a gent to handle (apart from the odd grumpy face) and generally very easy to do.
He is a pure fun horse that someone will be able to get on and enjoy years of fun with. He's not strong or stupid. He is ridden daily in a loose ring happy mouth snaffle. Up to date with worming etc, and dentist is here to do his teeth on Thursday.
I would recommend any women coming to view this chap to secure their sports bras before arrival, as he does enjoy a jig jog out hacking between walking and trotting. 🤣
