  • The plaintiff worked as a yoga instructor at the defendant's studio but was never paid, so the plaintiff is suing. Additionally, the plaintiff received her yoga teaching certificate from the defendant's studio but found out it was not legitimate. The defendant insists the plaintiff quit the yoga training program before full completion.

It's pretty obvious what this case was about... The plaintiff changed her mind about getting certificate and she knew she had two options; finish teaching the needed hours OR pay up. She wanted to get out of the contract *without* doing neither, so she started to question the program trying to find flaws in it so she can file a lawsuit.

@@keri1364The ruling was that she had to finish paying for her certification. Therefore, once it’s paid for, she is entitled to be certified. The ruling wasn’t a punishment, it was a decision. But I’m with you-I’d rather her not be able to use it at all after what she did!!!

Because she completed the training, and the only reason she didn't have the certificate is because she hasn't paid off the tuition - now the tuition will be paid, so they HAVE to hand over the certificate.

She clearly just changed her mind and wanted to screw the defendant over, she has no remorse about the stress she causes other people. Sadly the show is going to pay the fee so she still wiggled out of paying for her certification.
