@Ethan Marvin i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
It's so odd seeing a blonde woman in leggings come on stage and STILL immediately know she's is Morticia. She's oozing her character and while I usually have trouble seeing through training outfits, I had no problems at all. She's super talented. The entire cast as well by the way, really well done!
Except someone should have told her that Morticia takes tiny steps and she won't be able to take large slinky steps in her costume. It was throwing me off the whole time. That isn't how Morticia moves at all.
elphbwckd I would argue that with it being a musical and her having to do choreography, to add in her signature walk would seem strange when you see her having full mobility throughout choreography
@@prettyreckless1752 actually in Carrie's defence, if you watch everyone's mouth on the final note, they stop singing a lot earlier than her. In other words she wasn't drowning them out, she specifically was the lead carrying the final note.
It’s the job of the mic guys to blend everyone’s voices together, Carrie sings naturally louder because of her belt but it doesn’t mean that would show through on stage (unless the director wants it to, and with her voice I wouldn’t blame him!)
can i just say that the two that have the mini duet at 4:40 are utterly fantastic and i cannot take my eyes off their performance - not to mention that both of them sing beautifully and so well together but they are just so in character the whole time which is truly mesmerising
Sophie Douglas that is Kirsty Ingram and Jacob Fisher! They are phenomenal! As it happens, Jacob is the Lucas understudy and Kirsty is the Wednesday understudy!
May I just say that the dancer in a green shirt and blond hair is absolutely marvelous! The way she moves is a pleasure to look at. What a talented cast. xx
That's Jacob and Kirsty and they're probably my two favourite swings in this show and this song is the reason they became such! Although my favourite entrance by any ancestor has to be Gavin (the Jester) who enters before Kirsty. I just love his movement as he enters!
I wish they did a cast recording of this because I love the music during the ancestor's entrance. I wish we had a professionally recorded version of this.
The man is my friend Jacob and I performed with him in Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat at Kilworth House theatre and he was Joseph and he was amazing!!!! I love performing with him and watching him on stage
I don't know why but every time I hear that, I just think about the American version and how much better it was. In my opinion the man in the duet in the West End play is better, but the women who sung in the duet just did it so well.
That man is my friend Jacob and I performed with him in Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat at Kilworth House theatre and he was Joseph and he was amazing!!!! I love performing with him and watching him on stage
The Ancestor characters are awesome! I love the ringleader, the ballerina, the jester the grape dude and all the others dude. And I love how they changed the music to fit them. It was so cool!
i literally just finished the final production of this at my college and we performed this version but with less fancy and hard moves and a different line dance. and honestly it was amazing, i absolutely love the addams family and hope that one day i can make it come alive like this
This is such a well-recorded video. Good job to whoever did so! I've had this video on repeat for the past few days trying to learn bits and pieces of the dances, and the video quality just makes it that much easier. I love the hand jivey part right before the last chunk of song at 6:07, I do it all the time now, right along with the section at 2:12.
Adri Mulet that's Kirsty Ingram, she's incredible!! She was understudy for Wednesday and plays young Wednesday during the show because she is tiny and she's one of my favourites!
It was a brilliant production. The set was wonderfully interesting, the direction was the best of the West End, the Cast gave a witty, yet lovable performance.
when i saw this on night at the palladium, i freaked out when i saw carrie. Was so angry that she wasn't called out by name. I LOVE HER!! actual legend
So the line that says ‘you need to have a sense of humor’ this is the first video where I noticed Gomez tapping her shoulder, before I just thought morticia was laughing for no reason
at 4:56 i love how you can see pugsly (dont know who plays him) absolutely loving what the choreo is looking, then when he's back on the dead expression is back
love how carrie is singing the whole last note while the rest of the family stopped after a few seconds😂❤️shes so talented you can hear her throughout the whole song
Thanks for all the lovely comments! I've added the Cast List now from the The Addams Family Tour Programme as a few people wanted to know who was who!
Kim Tobin - Southend Theatre Scene thank you for replying to my comment
So happy

Annika Wheble oh my GOD that’s where I know her from!!!! Holy shit she’s amazing
@@Jasmineee3000 yes indeed. I wish they'd done a UK cast album of the show

Carrie has a voice that you can spot in a group of people, at the end I could mostly just hear her
That's not a good thing... in a show of this calibre, if you're not blending, you're not doing it right.
@@prettyreckless1752 actually in Carrie's defence, if you watch everyone's mouth on the final note, they stop singing a lot earlier than her. In other words she wasn't drowning them out, she specifically was the lead carrying the final note.
Guys guys- dont you think it's kinda weird to argue over this? I mean if there not willing to work as hard as Carrie or simply cant its bot her fault
Pretty Reckless imagine saying that the biggest west end star right now isn’t “doing it right”

managed to see Jacob as Lucas when Oliver was at a wedding when the show came to Bristol - he was amazing!!
When I saw the show a year a go I couldn't take my eyes off them two, especially Jacob Fischer
Sophie Douglas idk I just think I’m spiritually attracted to Jacob oops
When I saw the show, Kirsty Ingram was our Wednesday and she was absolutely phenomenal!

Patricia Laura and I love her voice! And the hot guy next to her. Those 10 seconds are my favorite parte of the song 🖤
totally agree !! :D
The girl you are referring to also plays a young wednesday later in the show
I agree! she's SO good and really cute as well lmao

Heyyy i know youuu 👀
Ur the best bj youtuberrr
That morticia is perfect
I love how without the wig on, Carrie moves her hair out of the way in character still
The choreography in this number is stunning, combined with the vocals! I just love it so much. I wish I could see it on stage.
Same it's so beautiful! Once you go see it I guess you could say You'll Be Back straight after (lovin the profile picture😂)
Well done with the reference my friend, well done.
Can I just ask... After this number, What Comes Next? :)
Ik im late but comparing broadway to west end I feel this choreography pales in comparison
Ah I just love Carrie in this role 🖤
Hi
P
Ah I'm loving this cast, Carrie is a great Wednesday and everyone else seems brilliant too
I love the way the jester interacts with the others and behaves: imitating the ballerina!
Eve Sav Si know the jester in real life
I think he was the dance captain for this production.
is no one acnologing how PRETTY the girl who plays Wednesday is
If you didn’t know shes Carrie hope Fletcher and yeah she is so pretty
Yeah she’s awesome I’ve met her twice 👍👍 she’s so genuine
Ender Puff she has a youtube! Carrie hope fletcher

Honestly love this cast, it’s the only one where Gomez and Morticia are stunning and their voices sound good together
why is no one talking about how talented gomez is like-
Cameron Blakely ... yes , he’s amazing
Incredible!
Who else is absolutely tempted to just gather a group of people and teach themselves the routine to this song? I sure am. :D I think i'm in love.
Love how the ancestors are in pairs. It helps clean the act
Anyone else weirdly crushing on Gomez in this production ?
Pennine Legacy. Let's face it, it's not weird. It's perfectly normal, haha!
JudyGarlandRulez152 true in this production. Just never crushed on Gomez in any other Addams Family production .

Ok this cast is so amazing. The girl playing mortita is so pretty and Carrie is such an amazing singer!
I'm just throwing this out there, the blonde guy (Aroung 4:23) in the front is wicked hot. This take on The Addams seems very interesting
That's Jacob Fisher! He is absolutely lovely and he is hilarious!
Is it just me, or does he remind me of Draco Malfoy
That man is my friend Jacob and I performed with him in Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat at Kilworth House theatre and he was Joseph and he was amazing!!!! I love performing with him and watching him on stage
I luckily got to see Jacob in the role of Lucas as Oliver was out at a wedding on that evening - he was amazing!
That is why he is in the thumbnail

Absolutely brilliant . The whole cast is just brilliant ... I love Cameron Blakely as Gomez ... a cast album please 🙏🏻
This is honestly the best cast for this show I've seen both in the UK and US. Phenomenal cast.
dud the music lowkey change to the swan lake theme when the ballet dancer comes out 4:08
