While since 1996, I have owned an Apple desktop computer. But, when iPods were being sold new could never justify paying $300, just for a music/photo/and video player. However in 2014, to go along with my new automobile, I picked-up on Ebay for $90, a used classic iPod 5th generation. I carry my classic iPod everywhere to listen to music on my daily walks, driving in my automobile, and when working on my computer. The best versions of the classic iPod to buy are the 5th generation, the 5.5 generation, the 6th generation , and the 7th generation (smile ... smile).
i mean for having the music to load on your ipod as something you can't mention, i wanna give the way i did for mine, honestly ask around to parents, relatives and friends if they got any CDs to handle for like 2 day at most and burn them in your pc, get either the .flac file or a high quality mp3 (320kbts is more than enough) and then move them on itunes, i got so many songs this way, thanks to colleagues, relatives and by all the music cds we had at home, super suggested method imo
With all the improvements available on the traditional ipod, the lack of bluetooth is the most annoying for me. I haven't used wired earbuds in at least 10 years.
I use a 20GB 2nd iPod, someone would call the iPod classic, but this was before the classic prefix. I also replaced the battery with a 2000mha battery in 2019. and I was also able to get a new old stock fire wire cable and I also got an old wall adaptor and a fire wire to thunderbolt adaptor on Apple‘s website then an offbrand fire wire 400 to 800 adaptor. I only paid $150 for the iPod and excellent condition. It said untested and was only the iPod and the belt clip. the iPod wasn’t too good of condition to have any problems just to realize it needed the cables and a battery and nothing else
If Apple watches this video, I hope that it inspires them to bring the iPod back! Despite the world of streaming there are many people like us who would prefer to NEVER drop the traditional Portable Media Player / MP3 Player.
I'm with you on that. I have an 8th generation ipo, and have nearly 2000 songs on it. But I want to delete songs in my library on iTunes and reconstruct my music, but it's hindering me. They'd rather have me buy a phone that I don't want.

Tv has become such a shithole where you simply waste your life, energy in order to consume tons of content that you don't need but this is what algorithms offer to you. But this is not just a case. People no more reign over internet. It's controlled by corporations, algorithms, and the government. Ya know, I always find it hilarious and insane at the same time how almost every carton of 1990s, 2000s predicted that our future would be dark. Looking back at what happens now, this is how it is.
