Everything else apart, Tywin Lannister wiping out the second most powerful house in the Westerlands to the last man woman and child and then making a famous song flexing about them being wiped out and making it a personal theme song has got to be the most gangster thing I’ve ever heard.
2:17 The animation: *three 2d drawings switching and moving left and right.* Me: "That's the most beautiful thing i have ever seen." Seriously, it fills me with unreasonable amount of happiness to see that animation.
Can it really be said he committed war crimes? House Lannister's vassals ignored their orders and duties time and again, and then actively rebelled when held to account. They already showed that they would take goodwill and repay it with betrayal. Why let them live and just betray the Lannisters again?
First of all, I can't really blame Tywin for being a cold, calculating and ruthless person. He grew up under a weak amiable father who caused House Lannister to be a laughing stock and whom was defied(even mocked) openly by his very own bannermen. Tywin's father was such a weak and ineffectual Lord, that every one of his bannermen took advantages that were overstepping their boundaries as vassal houses. Especially House Reyne and Tarbeck. House Reyne grew very powerful and rich under the weak rule of Tytos Lannister and House Tarbeck also profited greatly. As the Eldest of Tyto's sons, Tywin saw personally upfront on how everyone mocked his father and their utter disrespect towards House Lannister. He grew cold and calculating because of this, and mistrusted laughter as people often laughed at his father. To be honest, no one and certainly not I can blame Tywin for becoming who he became, as he was placed with a heavy burden from the day he was born. Not to mention he was slighted numerous times by Aerys II and rightfully, he had the right to not like the Targaryens much less support them. Tywin worked hard all his life to make House Lannister great again and Aerys who had formerly been his friend, lost his support when he kept making advances towards Joanna(Twyin's wife) and publicly humiliated him, by refusing the betrothal between his daughter Cersei and Rhaegar,, saying that his lineage were not worthy to marry into theirs because they were "Servants". To top it all off, Aerys took away Jaimie who was Tywin's Heir and this was the straw that broke his back.
Tyrion, to Tywin: "And here we have Bronn, son of..." Bronn, to Tywin: "You wouldn't know him." I always suspected from this exchange that Bronn was hiding that he was actually the last living Reyne.
@@chaoticgoodcreations947That is also a fair interpretation. But that mindset becomes kinda dangerous when you're a leader, as it not only caused Tytos' vassals to disobey him, but also question his willingness and ability to protect them.

On the one hand, I will hand it to Tywin for making it VERY clear not to mess with him. On the other hand, going to war without his father/liege lord's permission over a matter said lord had already forgiven and then exterminating two entire families instead of just taking hostages/land/executing the leaders or letting them take the black was an insanely massive overreach he only got away with because Casterly Rock is nigh impossible to siege and Aerys shortly thereafter named him hand of the king. Is it ever mentioned whether/how Houses Reyne and Lannister are related? Their arms are reversed, both in colour and in facing, both of which are common ways of displaying bastardy or cadetship. My guess would be that House Reyne of the intriguingly named 'Castamere' is somehow indirectly descended from the original House Casterly that Lann the Clever is supposed to have stolen the Rock from (which would give an extra motive to their grudge against House Lannister) and that Lann himself was a Casterly bastard (which is a suitable starting point for a Trickster Hero myth).
Lord Walderan Tarbeck:" Well you have us, boy. We're worth a good ransom,as I am sure you know. Ask what you will,my lady wife will pay." Tywin:" With our own gold? No,my lord. I think not"
Different story from what Cersie recall, she make no mention of an underground mine . Instead states they were slaughtered and left strung up on their castle and left there all summer long. ☀️ so the rains of castamere has a new gross meaning .

- What if Aerion Brightflame became king?
Those are just a few... there are probably a lot more
@@fantasyhaven1what if tywin & joanna had a second daughter after the twins? why did they not have more kids before tyrion anyway
I just have to say that I played AGOT the CK3 mod. And the Reyne’s destroyed Tywin and Tytos taking the westerlands and casterly rock. Then managed to hold on it through several Lannister revolts 😂
Could you make a video on Jon Connington + The Golden Company
You should cover the first blackfyre rebellion
When the backstory of a theme song (Rains of Castamere) from ASOIAF has more depth and plot than these modern anime called as *pEaK fIcTiOn🤡* 🤣.
very nice
also better thumbnail xd respect
And now the rains weep over his halls, with no one there to hear.
Tywin was only 16 years old when he did all that.
F’n luv this channel
What would be Bloodraven’s course of action when he finally gets wind of a Blackfyre (fAegon) trying to take the throne?! 👀
Considering he's part tree probably nothing.
I think Brynden probably sees the bigger picture that the Blackfyres are the least of his worries with the Others invading
@@thatoneblackdude3333 but he’s a greenseer? He can probably do something, even a little bit 👀
@@epsilon9739 you’re probably right. That makes sense.
@@d_randy he's limited to the hearth trees faegons in the South were there are hardly any there so I doubt he could do anything even if he wanted too , I doubt he even knows he exists .
Maybe a video about the andal invasion
You should make a "What if House Reyne won?" video. That'd be kool.
Now this would be a good spin off show
Please do animated version of the whole book. Read with more people. you can release it monthly. No one has done it yet so surely you'll get a lot more subscribers and coverage. so you can make a audiobook but with proper animation. as you already know that the book series ASOIAF already has a huge fan base, thank you
an animated version of the book of four kings would be dope
If you want to,could you do a video on the blackfyre rebellions or the history of house blackfyre
Young griff is actually a secret tarbeck confirmed????
Is it ever mentioned whether/how Houses Reyne and Lannister are related? Their arms are reversed, both in colour and in facing, both of which are common ways of displaying bastardy or cadetship. My guess would be that House Reyne of the intriguingly named 'Castamere' is somehow indirectly descended from the original House Casterly that Lann the Clever is supposed to have stolen the Rock from (which would give an extra motive to their grudge against House Lannister) and that Lann himself was a Casterly bastard (which is a suitable starting point for a Trickster Hero myth).
Tywin is a beast.
You could do a video on the blackfyre rebellions
Algormancy!
i think you should make a video about boltons history
Lord Walderan Tarbeck:" Well you have us, boy. We're worth a good ransom,as I am sure you know. Ask what you will,my lady wife will pay."
Tywin:" With our own gold? No,my lord. I think not"
video on the Brackens and Blackwoods?
Hey are you planning on doing some videos on other Fantasy settings?
I think the first actual explanation of the Raynes is actually in TWoIAF
Different story from what Cersie recall, she make no mention of an underground mine . Instead states they were slaughtered and left strung up on their castle and left there all summer long. ☀️ so the rains of castamere has a new gross meaning .
Tragic story but good Song
I only watched the show and thought Tywin couldn’t get any more baddass. I was wrong
And who are you the proud lord said
Is the ost i hear in the background of one of my fav low graphics tower defence mobile game?I forget its name..........
Yeah i just got it.Its fortress under Seige right?
I doubt if anyone here knows about that game but im glad atleast u know abt it.✌️✌️
Damn. Didnt know it was so brutal.
video pica pra krl continue com o excelente trabalho 🦆
Isn't it kinda odd how no one else intervened? Like why wouldn't the Tyrells for example intervene? Picking a side to favour as the new wardens of the west, or the king, or anybody....
Because they seen the reports of what was happening and maybe told themselves that this young Lannister is not to be f***** with
Tywin took pains to reign in the Reynes , becoming their bane. Shoulda stayed in their lane...
