For all who can't get in the game. Log Out of the Launcher, then do a Character reset and wait for at least 15-20 minutes. Then try to log in again. Worked for me every time and I had to do this at least once a day.
@@MrSlvr2000 Sadly, This doesn't work for everyone. Just wanted to point out that it is necessary to log out from your Launcher before you do the Character reset and then wait for some time. As I first encounter that Problem, I did several resets and could not get in for 48 hours or so. But a reset after a logout and a little waiting time worked for me every time so far. At first, I waited 1 hour, but 15-20min seems to be ok. Hope they get that fixed shortly.
They're good at making awesome SC advertizing videos which makes it look as if it's perfectly playable to attract new players but when it comes to reality it doesn't take long to realize that it's a huge & buggy mess even after 12 years. The only things that seems to work almost flawlessly 99.9% of the time is the pledge store and subscription services. That's CIG in a nutshell.
To take the other side of your argument. Marketing team can go explode. But you cant get mad at the DEVS, especially the ones that pulled overtime and brought out the hotfixes up to the last minute. I did character repair, and waited. Was finally able to do some cargo missions and jump to pyro from a18 on Monday. After multiple times being sent to 0,0,0. And after having my character being unstowed twice. But yeah, i always warn folks that wanna try it and i tell em nah, dont try it right now.
I've been able to get in but bounties are not completing even when I kill the target and my ship almost always spawns halfway into the pad, so it's not really worth playing right now. I'll just wait for a patch and see if they fix those issues.
Any luck, I had the 60k broken shard for 2 days and I’ve now had a 30k login timeout the last 2 days… only got in day 1 for a couple hours… was looking to put in a lot of hours this holiday, bummer.
Many problems! More than usual? No.. Only thing that stands out to me is how "permanent" the game world feels now because of server meshing. It's like each server is a leg and even when one crashes completely, the other ones hold the game world up until a new server spins up.
Character repair fixed the 60030 error for me. For the ships not claiming, being locked out of your hangar, try going to a totally different station/location, reclaim all your ships there, log out, log back in. Sometimes this resets your hangar.
@@MrSlvr2000 Sorry friend. If you can get to the point where you can log in, ping me in game and I'll port you to another station. I just fixed my hangar bug by reclaiming all my ships, just now. So that work around has worked for me 2x now.
This is exactly what happens to me. If I make it past an infinite load screen and the black screen. I can't get to my personal hangar nor can I call a ship at another hangar.

this is my opinion... it was running fine until christmas... all the swipers are crashing the servers. But obviously its more than just that at the end of the day as well lol. I would really like to run cargo missions but that shit is broken 100% of the time in different ways even when the servers run alright. from Cargo dupilicating to triplicating... contract markers not showing. progress not being recognized and the classic broken freight elevators on planetary contracts and that dumbass black screen mid quantom jump. also queues to leave hangers is absolutely nonsensical and hearing everyone else inside the hanger your in doing shit is annoying.
Do you not look at the launch menu? It specifically has 4.0 updates and takes you to a new spectrum thread the devs opened. They are dropping silent fixes and working on severely critical issues with a full list detailing what they're doing. They admit not everything will be fixed but they are working on it. I'm sorry you're locked out - hopefully that gets fixed ASAP.
One of the biggest problems for me with 4.0 is that i use the trustmaster 16000M FSC space sim dou and the game not recognizing the drivers so i cannot use them to fly my ships (after fetting used to them, to fly the ships with keyboard and mouse is almoat a torture for me (all do respect to who prwfare using keyvoard and mouse, i'm just a litttle too used to specific way to fly ships)
Everything about this game takes SOOOO much time. I don't have 3 hours to dedicate to a buggy mess of a game just to have enough cash to fix my ship and buy new guns because I lost all my old ones in a bugged bunker. Yet everything they add to the game cuts more of your time. It is maddening.
I just don't see what the alternative would have done better. We did the open PTU launch for 3.18 to test and get the bugs figured out for 3 months. It was the exact same scenario. People simply didn't play the PTU, they didn't play until 3.18 went live, the shit hit the fan all at once, and nobody had any other option. Isn't this better?
@MrSlvr2000 but we can play, 3.24.3 is still live. When 3.18 came out we could barely even get to the main menu. If they hadn't pushed 4.0 live right now, they probably would have waited for the Q1 patch in March. This way they can still fix the patch in January and we'll have a more playable 4.0 as well.
my main is stuck on a shard and cant get out 3 days now 60030. my alt was imprisoned and unable to get out for 2 dayst, finly somehow woke up out of prison and still had my crime stat. now im in pyro unable to get ships, black screens constantly. So far pretty good
Well this sucks. After all these years of following the game waiting to jump in, I was going to do it this holiday season with the Intrepid starter pack. Now I’m nervous to even try…
I am running a bet with a frienmd that they will not last through 2025. in my head this game i already dead. i am fighting with that crap for 6 years now. bugs, now money issues, 3rd game gets developed without talking to playerbase, lies etc etc. they just try to push through sq42 to stay liquid. absolute disgrace when we keep in mind its crowd funded.
Bullshit, forcing it to shut down with things like alt-F4 can always corrupt data or get it out of sync, especially when in some kind of transitional state.
Time constraints prevented me from doing 'Save Stanton'. If I heard correctly, as long as 3.24 is up, I still have a chance to try to get it done. With price increases in-game, maybe it'd be worth grinding that to get the Pyro Repeaters to have for the future... Thanks as always for your perspectives and content! 💯⚡🫡

SC is a application not a OS it dos not use kernel so it dos not matter if u alt f4 or /quit or ctr alt del and end task
