- Im trying out the Genisis with a Feather blade again. OneBlade has a new razor blade out, and I want to try the feather again so I can compare.

I prefer DE razor blades. They are cheap and readily available. No fancy pants razor or proprietary blades for me.

I use Astra greens, feathers, and a Russian brand for my de razors my main razors are merkur 23c heavy and a custom one got made but my merkur is my daily driver had it over six years still like new.
For a daily quick shave I swear on the Broman razor. It uses half double edge blades, and you can also use any regular blades of your choice by just splitting them in two. Two advantages: no proprietary blades and your can double the life of your regular blades
$39.95 for 100 blades at 8 shaves a blade = $0.05/shave 🤓 Nothing fancy here!

Hey Ken! These Feather single edge blades can be used in any vintage Valet Autostrop razor! I am hoping the new OneBlade razor blades will do the same at a lower price! I am still not sold completely on OneBlade, but I'll make that assessment when the new blades are made available. Thanks for the re-review! JimG

Those feathers don't last. Hoping that their new blades which they say last longer are better. The razor to me is nice but the blades don't last (get 2-3 shaves at most out of each one). If their new ones last like a DE blade, I think it would make more people to use the product especially that the blades are half of what the feathers cost

I have insomnia. Ken’s voice is literally one of the very few things that make me relax and let go. The small echo of the room, his tone, it’s just a fantastic experiment. I usually play 3-4 videos when I want to relax and catch up to his news. The only thing that jump scares me is the intro music 😅

Great shave. My area only got the gusty winds from the remnants of Helene, but it wasn’t too bad. My relatives in south Florida were thankfully spared from the path, but hopefully those affected will be able to recover. Have a good one!

nice shaving video i love using a SE now and then BUT i don´t like the Oneblade bought it thinking you could use any blade i bought some blades when i´ve used them out in the ben it goes head is too big blade not that good, anyways man i hope the people are okay specially Georgia i saw something on yahoo news in runs....stay safe...cheers Peter

Great shave Ken. The flooding we had is now gone and the river is almost back to normal levels but we have a lot of cleaning up to do. It left a ton of mud behind and we also have to file a flood insurance claim too. We will probably do that monday.
