It will never cease to piss me off to see how underrated Big Country are as a band and Stuarty Adamson was as a writer. To me, probably the best band to come out of the UK in the 80s. Thanks to my Dad for raising me on their music 👌💙
I heard this last night in Bradford, with Simon Hough doing the vocals.A amazing and moving song.Stuarts vocals are amazing, and I love the guitars. In the guitar version.
Stu, I was at home, watching my family grow... I had no idea of your troubles. I was heartwrecked when I heard about your leaving, crying and my heart beating like a drum, but you were gone. Crying again now.
I remember that I had a tape with 90 minutes of BC with me, on my school excursion to Italy. Day in day out I wasn't available for anybody, because I kept repeating and repeating it on my walkman (anybody old enough to remember?). I cannot tell anybody, how important that music was and still is for me. Thanks for uploading this beautiful version of one of my favourite songs.
what a beautifull song, this man, the one behind the drum kit is absolutely awesome, i cant stop look him and hear him, this drummer is amazing, a virtuosso, its incredible and i know about drummers, is amazing, a rythm monster
This is a great live version of such a beautiful song. Stuart's guitaring at 4:45 is superb. Meanwhile, Mark , Tony, and Bruce are polished as usual. I still slightly prefer the piano version on "No Place Like Home" though.
Sorry to have such a great song in such a miserable state of a video. BIG COUNTRY I ALWAYS WEAR YOU IN MY HEART. ALL OF YOU MEMBERS ! BECAUSE BC IS A BAND .
Thanks a million for uploading this wonderful song Paul
A Scottish legend he was absolutely class 🏴🎶🏴🎶

They weren't really underrated. Their first 4 albums were all TOP 10 UK albums and 1 No1 Album ( SteelTown)! They were better live, much like U2!
No words can describe how much I loved this band. So underrated. Love you all😀
Too real, possibly, probably, the most talented song writer, guitarist, and band, of all time.
What immense talent, so gifted...will be missed forever more. A legend.
The void left can never be filled. May peace finally be his.
Well put.
Brilliant well done Stuart shall always play your music Big Man 👌🏼
Total class... God bless Stuart Adamson.x

I'm crying, too. I so wish he never suffered like he must have been. I wish he could be back with us.
Stuart Adamson LEGEND RIP gone but never forgotten you live on in your music
What a beautiful version of a timeless song. "Make like we're saviors of the planet...we're just trying to get by" -- what a lyric.
what class!!!! sadly missed by all if only we could turn back time to see the big man on stage again!!!
If only we could, Gary
