Most of the interviewer, they really like to see yourself. The real of yourself. So, let me give a tip. Be YourSelf! Confidence and make them fall for you! That's all. If you failed, don't give up! Try and try other interviews until you get your job, goodluck!
I'm going to give you guys THE MOST IMPORTANT Job Interview Tip the was not covered in this video that I just used in a job interview and I always use in all job interviews. I've gotten many jobs just by using this tip. Here it is: You CAN'T go in there nervous, trying to impress and please, worrying whether or not you'll get the job or not. You're setting yourself up for failure. Just go in there with the mindset of "I'm just here to converse and meet with somebody new", literally a job interview is just a conversation. Just converse, don't stress about anything else USE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO MEET SOMEBODY NEW. Whatever happens after, happens. But just enjoy being in somebody else's company and speak like a normal person. If they ask you about yourself: tell them about yourself. Simple. Obviously don't say negatives. Hope this helped anybody. :)
Mahalo for this very important yet overlooked tip. You are correct. I'm not attached to the outcome and I'm going to just show up and enjoy the interview. I am confident and my answers are more than suffice of being chosen as a future employee.

As a hiring Manager myself I would suggest just being yourself. Answer your questions with confidence and honesty. Always keep eye contact with your interviewer and view it as a conversation and not a pressurized situation. If your good at what you do then your character and confidence will convey that. Remember that the job you are applying for is a need they need to fill. With that said it is not only your skill level that will get you hired, your character and demeanor will play a huge roll in your hiring process. Remember that those are also part of your skill set as they will reflect how you go about utilizing your skills. Good Luck all with your interviews, smile and be yourself everything else will fall in line.

Although I have done two internships already, I'm very scared to start a job as a programmer and not sure if I will be able to handle it in real-world environment. Salty Candy my school helped us learned to put together a resume and what to watch out for, which was amazing and far better than nothing. interview help would have been a godsend heheh
Hahaha so true but then again if schools taught these things, everyone would have the same answer. Those people here are here bc they want to learn to differentiate themselves from most people to get the job.
If you go out of your way and seek help school provide it, dont expect everything to be handed to you, take some initiative and go and ask for extra help or do some independent learning

I was in a job interview today when the manager handed me his laptop and said, "I want you to try and sell this to me." So I put it under my arm, walked out of the building and went home. Eventually he called my mobile and said, "Bring it back here right now!" I said, "$200 and it's yours."
This is probably the most helpful interview video. I've interviewed for about 6 jobs and I have got a position with 5 of the 6 companies. I have another interview and this helped refresh my memory! She breaks the question down so well that you can interpret it well. Also I used the hand gestures that she did in my interviews and it helps a lot. Good luck interviewees.

I have an interview in 2 days for my first job and I've never been more nervous..😅 Edit: I completely forgot about this post. Here’s an update 2 years later: I did not get the job. Interviewer showed up an hour late, didn’t apologize, asked about 2 questions, and then said he had already hired 4 people earlier that day and didn’t need anyone else. Now I realize that I low key dodged a bullet. Management obviously sucked I’m employed now, though. In college and working 2 jobs. :)

Interviewee: (He has never had a real genuine situation of pressure because he used to always leave on time). He says, "I can easily cope with high demand and pressure at work. In the past, my boss had raised our targets by 25% per day due to high volume influxes of data. I always liked to work more than the target assigned to me, and I always preferred doing that before I left for home.
The interview process sucks! Its nothing but a boring, mundane questions and answers situation. (blah, blah, blah, bullshit) People do lie in the interview process to secure a job and financial stability. It’s so sad that employers can’t think outside the box when interviewing candidates. They are all repetitive questions that are outdated. Be sure to size up the company when interviewing with them, because they are not always what they represent themselves to be either. For example: you land the job and quickly learn how much drama, favoritism, and backstabbing there is at that job, so be careful and choose wisely who you want to work for. That's very important.
If anger is your weakness I would say: "In the past I have struggled with taking things too personally in stressful situations, but my past work experiences have taught me not to internalize things in such a way. I learned how to look at things from others perspectives and learned how to take such situations as a challenge not as a conflict. I realize now that there can be more than one way to solve a problem without getting upset"

I’m not trying to do anything negative here, but I used to have terrible mental health problems and I want to let y’all know that they went away when I got to know Jesus, they went away. I Love y’all and I promise that He Loves you too. You are very Loved. You can go to Him and be saved. You can read His word and talk to Him. He hears. We’ve gotta have enough discipline to read and Study what He said in His Word. He is my everything. Jesus Loves you. I’m not joking and I’m not trying to “shove religion down your throat” I want to come out and say it because The Holy Bible tells us to share The Gospel. What kind of person would I be if I didn’t tell people that they can fill that empty void in them? God saved me. I used to struggle with TERRIBLE mental health. GOD revealed HIMSELF to me through HIS word and The Presence of THE HOLY SPIRIT. I now am free. I used to think that I would never be cured and it seemed crazy to think that there were actually people who don’t have these problems. Freedom from ocd sounded like I dream. I thought having a slim body and a boyfriend would fill the empty void inside me that felt like it was taking over. It didn’t. I just kept wanting to be skinnier and kept wanting more people to like me. Now I know GOD and have so much JOY and PEACE (yes, real PEACE) that I want everyone else to have it. I just had my job interview and got the job! My advice to you is to look up questions that might ask you to job interview, cause even if it's a fast food place or something like that they will ask you questing like "Tell me about yourself" and "why'd you choose our McDonald's" (or wherever you are working) so be prepared! And memorize answers for a lot of questions and it will make it SO much easier! Good luck!
I agree with her, because I have a CV that has some characteristics that she said,for instance I wrote about my education and my previous work experience (that she mentioned before.) This video is useful, because I don’t know how to ask or answer questions in an interview in English. I am interested in continuing this video. The girl shows confidence in her explanation.
Good luck! Just remember if the job does not feel right for you it’s perfectly ok to reject an offer or be rejected. You can always try elsewhere. Your values and norms have to be in sync with the organisation otherwise you’ll have a very bad time 😄!

Have you ever tried - Schallingora Information Investigation Scheme (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is an awesome one off product for learning what you need to say to get hired in a job interview minus the headache. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy got cool success with it.
I'm in IT and I have been on more than (probably) 30 interviews in my lifetime. She's right on about the "tell me about yourself" question. For the "tell me your weaknesses" question, my stock answer is that I sometimes work too hard and care too much about the job I"m doing. Her answers are SPOT on. She could have elaborated a bit on question 6. This is a great video. I've used these same answers myself in multiple interviews. Some interviewers will try and throw a wrench in there and ask you questions about specific situations on other jobs and they want an answer because they figure it has happened to you regardless of whether it actually has or not. They also don't like their questions being shot down with "that has never really happened to me", so make something up if you are creative - be sure to mention that it was years ago, so your memory isn't great with it ;). Most of this is just making shit up anyway. It's always worked for me, and I'm not a very good bullshitter. The trick is (as everyone says) confidence. How do you build confidence? The way I do it is knowing that if I DON'T get the job, it's not the end of the world and that most of the time the people doing the interviewing (if they are HR people, and on most jobs they are) can't do anything else in life because they don't have any REAL skills anyway. Find a way to be funny, look people in the eye, shake their hand, don't sit until they sit - basic etiquette shit also goes a LONG way.
I got mine yesterday 2 interviews (initial and final) each for 2 companies ive walked in. That was me first time ever, got really nervous at first, i stutter alot but i passed the final interview. Jboy 1K they didnt ask me that one. Just add details that will lile benefit the company, its always them, the interview is not for you generally its for them. Theyre looking for a specific person to fill their slot inside the company. So put ur personal str. Just add some good thing to say thatll benefit the company

I agree with her because when you have an interview you must demonstrate confidence and security when you answer the questions. She shows the questions so well that you can interpret them nicely. The video is very useful for me because I really learn a lot watching this video for a future interview :)
A little tip for question 5, regarding research about the company. Rather than just talk about what titles the company's been awarded, you ought to also research the company's values and mission, and then re-iterate these values as your own. The point is that you should show that you share the same values and that you will essentially help the company realise their vision.
I understand why you would use that tactic, but once they find out some truth about what you said what kind of character are you gonna bring upon yourself?? Not a good one I can assure you.

Yiieeeeh! Niharika it’s been 8 years since I watched this video. I was 18 back then, I am 26 now. I was very afraid to attend interviews as I don’t know how to present myself. I’m very scared. If not because of these helpful tips I’m not where I am now. I am now part of the leadership team in my company. Handling a lot of employees and sometimes I interview applicants too. Time flies so fast. I remember the days when I was so young and afraid. 🎉🎉

wow I am learning more about interview questions and answers. This questions has given me confident for any time I will go for any job interview again. I remember in one of my job interview I was asked the question 4. Where do you see yourself in 10 years time I was so baffle to answer that question like that the lady answer it well I did not answer it like that Although they hirer me that time i have learned new thing again today. I was making questions on my own for any Job interview i will go for the future. I ask myself 1. Why do you wants to work at this company? 2. What days and time. can you. work ? afternoon. or Evenings 3. can you work on weekends? 4. what are the barriers to employment? 5. How can you get to work, by which types of transportations.This are the questions I made on my own. I have fixed my Resume properly through the helped of TH-cam I took it. to the carrier advisor of the college she said. it is very good written Resumes. I have started applying companies are calling me now because my Resume is fixed properly. Thank Gid for this part of media I focused my mind on to educated myself more on how to do things.
Its always good be prepared to answer commonly asked questions, however make sure you have a valid example from your experience. If the interviewer is not convinced, then they make ask more deeper questions. So be ready with genuine answers. Another important matter is, make sure your answer don't contradict with your resume.

But just enjoy being in somebody else's company and speak like a normal person. If they ask you about yourself: tell them about yourself. Simple. Obviously don't say negatives.

As a hiring Manager myself I would suggest just being yourself. Answer your questions with confidence and honesty. Always keep eye contact with your interviewer and view it as a conversation and not a pressurized situation. If your good at what you do then your character and confidence will convey that.
Remember that the job you are applying for is a need they need to fill. With that said it is not only your skill level that will get you hired, your character and demeanor will play a huge roll in your hiring process. Remember that those are also part of your skill set as they will reflect how you go about utilizing your skills.

This is probably the most helpful interview video. I've interviewed for about 6 jobs and I have got a position with 5 of the 6 companies. I have another interview and this helped refresh my memory! I just had my job interview and got the job! My advice to you is to look up questions that might ask you to job interview, cause even if it's a fast food place or something like that they will ask you questing like "Tell me about yourself" and "why'd you choose our McDonald's" (or wherever you are working) so be prepared! And memorize answers for a lot of questions and it will make it SO much easier! Good luck!

I'm in IT and I have been on more than (probably) 30 interviews in my lifetime. She's right on about the "tell me about yourself" question. For the "tell me your weaknesses" question, my stock answer is that I sometimes work too hard and care too much about the job I"m doing. Her answers are SPOT on. She could have elaborated a bit on question 6. This is a great video. I've used these same answers myself in multiple interviews.
Some interviewers will try and throw a wrench in there and ask you questions about specific situations on other jobs and they want an answer because they figure it has happened to you regardless of whether it actually has or not. They also don't like their questions being shot down with "that has never really happened to me", so make something up if you are creative - be sure to mention that it was years ago, so your memory isn't great with it ;). Most of this is just making shit up anyway. It's always worked for me, and I'm not a very good bullshitter.
The trick is (as everyone says) confidence. How do you build confidence? The way I do it is knowing that if I DON'T get the job, it's not the end of the world and that most of the time the people doing the interviewing (if they are HR people, and on most jobs they are) can't do anything else in life because they don't have any REAL skills anyway.
Find a way to be funny, look people in the eye, shake their hand, don't sit until they sit - basic etiquette shit also goes a LONG way.

I agree with her because when you have an interview you must demonstrate confidence and security when you answer the questions. She shows the questions so well that you can interpret them nicely. The video is very useful for me because I really learn a lot watching this video for a future interview :)

A little tip for question 5, regarding research about the company.
Rather than just talk about what titles the company's been awarded, you ought to also research the company's values and mission, and then re-iterate these values as your own. The point is that you should show that you share the same values and that you will essentially help the company realise their vision.

If not because of these helpful tips I’m not where I am now. I am now part of the leadership team in my company. Handling a lot of employees and sometimes I interview applicants too. Time flies so fast. I remember the days when I was so young and afraid. 🎉🎉

Hi.. I want to let y’all know that Jesus Loves you. I’m not trying to do anything negative here, but I used to have terrible mental health problems and I want to let y’all know that they went away when I got to know Jesus, they went away. I Love y’all and I promise that He Loves you too. You are very Loved. You can go to Him and be saved. You can read His word and talk to Him. He hears. We’ve gotta have enough discipline to read and Study what He said in His Word. He is my everything. Jesus Loves you. I’m not joking and I’m not trying to “shove religion down your throat” I want to come out and say it because The Holy Bible tells us to share The Gospel. What kind of person would I be if I didn’t tell people that they can fill that empty void in them? God saved me. I used to struggle with TERRIBLE mental health. GOD revealed HIMSELF to me through HIS word and The Presence of THE HOLY SPIRIT. I now am free. I used to think that I would never be cured and it seemed crazy to think that there were actually people who don’t have these problems. Freedom from ocd sounded like I dream. I thought having a slim body and a boyfriend would fill the empty void inside me that felt like it was taking over. It didn’t. I just kept wanting to be skinnier and kept wanting more people to like me. Now I know GOD and have so much JOY and PEACE (yes, real PEACE) that I want everyone else to have it. So please, talk to GOD, ask HIM to show you HIS presence, HIS word. Jesus is The Only way to The Father. We have to believe HIM. Not just believe that He exists, but believe in who we KNOW HE IS. We have to know HIM. The Holy Bible says that Jesus is The Truth. It also says that The TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE. I’m a living witness. Many people say that they feel uncomfortable when we talk about The Truth. It’s called conviction and we are supposed to feel it. Also, demons hate when you know GOD so they give you so many desires not to know HIM. but GOD is against them. GOD LOVES you. The Holy Bible says that GOD IS LOVE.

I remember in one of my job interview I was asked the question 4. Where do you see yourself in 10 years time I was so baffle to answer that question like that the lady answer it well I did not answer it like that Although they hirer me that time i have learned new thing again today. I was making questions on my own for any Job interview i will go for the future. I ask myself 1. Why do you wants to work at this company? 2. What days and time. can you. work ? afternoon. or Evenings

5. How can you get to work, by which types of transportations.This are the questions I made on my own. I have fixed my Resume properly through the helped of TH-cam I took it. to the carrier advisor of the college she said. it is very good written Resumes. Its always good be prepared to answer commonly asked questions, however make sure you have a valid example from your experience. If the interviewer is not convinced, then they make ask more deeper questions. So be ready with genuine answers. Another important matter is, make sure your answer don't contradict with your resume.
