"id like to cut his tiny little hands off" is probably one of the most specific yet for some reason funniest things ive hears in a while
Something tells me it was about his family jewels but the network didn’t approve.
I can't stop laughing. 🤣 🤣 🤣
@@SpiralsAreAlivethat was my first thought too. 🤣
We all had the one boss we thought that to
REaaaaally awkward to have the victim's relative show up while you're making your customary wisecracks about the victim.
The older male attorney is played by actor Fritz Weaver. He was in the 1st movie that I made in 1967. He was a very gracious gentleman. RIP Mr. Weaver.. you are remembered.
From shaking down casinos to solving murders, he really turned his life around
Mike Torello is a man of many talents. :)
@@osti20064q
He was actually a former cop tho
"I'd like to cut his tiny little hands off." Can't imagine who the scriptwriter was thinking of when they came up with that line.
Who?
Trump. 🤣
@@TheBeingReal well, don't keep us in suspense
@@brmbkl Your comment makes no sense.
@@TheBeingReal the episode would've been written in 2004/2005, so that wouldn't really work
the episode where Green was shot so Jesse L. Martin could take a couple weeks off from the show to film his scenes for the movie adaptation of Rent(reprising the role he'd done on Broadway in the '90s)

who shot him?
J.R. Ewing!

@@calvinallen3424 this was resolved on Law and Order: Trial By Jury episode "Skeletons" Sadly not on Peacock. Amazon has the episodes for sale.
"Overpaid." Lol...
And I'm sure there's a lawyer joke somewhere in here too... 😁
The writers made the usual mistake of assuming the junior attorney "gets" his hourly rate. The firm gets the rate, the attorney is lucky to get a third of it. The rest goes to the partners.
You gotta love how Officers from the Uniformed Division process the scene, get all the background information including identity, address family members etc, interview witnesses and coworkers and provide possible leads before detectives arrive. Detectives show up stand around for five minutes then leave
Waste of time if THEY have to look for the clues there. Plenty of other places they will have to comb themselves.
You got it wrong. Detectives show up, stand around for five minutes, throw in some clever one-liner and _then_ leave.
@@The-Rose-and-the-Cross Sometimes, they put on their sunglasses as they make the clever one-liner before they leave and someone off-screen yells to an electric guitar chord.
@@benrussell-gough1201 _Yeeeah._
Then they go to Van Buren, tell her what's going on, and she says go talk to the witness. Gosh, thanks for the tip! Otherwise, we wouldn't know to talk to witnesses.
I love the way people are being interviewed and casually star walking away
Nothing unusual for new attorney's fresh out of law school at large law firms where they are expected to put in a minimum of 80 billable hours a week ( 300 hours a month)
I'm still waiting for the L&O: Criminal Intent snippets, I really miss that one!!
IKR? What's wrong with these guys? Nothing wrong with Goren and Eames!
You can see all of those on Peacock unlike this full series it’s hard to find the first seasons of Law And Orders
Thanks
3:38 Cue the Jeopardy theme 😅
Wow that sister was a great actor 😂
This is the episode where Eddie gets shot
Again, this feels like an SVU case.
She wasn’t raped and a wealthy, high powered white woman isn’t considered “at risk”. No reason to bring in SVU, at least not at this point in the investigation.
There's no sexual assault so no stabler
Forget promiscuous, she was killed because she was a lawyer
“The first thing we do,let’s kill all the lawyers.”
Wm Shakespeare’s,
”Henry the VI”.
Yeah the title is way too clickbaity. Like we L&O fans need any such nonsense.
"Overpaid" LOL!
When I was going to school for law enforcement, they always said, with regard to crime scenes, don't touch a thing, don't touch a thing, don't touch a goddamn thing.
I hadn't attended law school and somehow I knew not to touch anything period
Noice
I'm touching a thing. 😂
You know my lifestyle is basically shopping eating sleeping and having fun
1:38 "...well, second-to-last."
Ok Law and Order geeks, who did it and why?
Per someone else:
A senior lawyer killed her because he gave her a poor review and she was going to retaliate by accusing him of sexual harassment which was false.
Nice
80s a week working.. what a waste of life
A lot do it. With the intent to make partner. Which not all do.
Scroo that.
"Overpaid" 🤣
Anyone want to give the spoiler review? I want to know what happened.
Per someone else:

Who would randomly kill a lawyer? I know it's a show but I'm just saying
15 hours a day seven days a week?
okay, what happened?
Did he say 84 were working and 95 of them were men?
84 lawyers then they list typist, proof readers and paralegals out of ALL of them 95 were men
84 other lawyers and 72 typists, proof readers and para legals. So 156 persons, of which 95 were male.
They also said something about clerks and typists.
Yes they did say that!
84 lawyers, plus, clerks, etc. and then 95 of everyone
He gets paid in 420?
oh I think I remember this episode. the sister stole her sister's identity. she killed him. it was something like that.
I think it was the same actress but not this episode. The sister was from the Midwest; had some boring life. Murderer was a con-woman wouldn’t state her name for the judge.
@@SwordsmanRyan
Yes, same actress in an older episode.
"overpaid"
420 an hour? Nice!
Never say tombstone to the undertaker, cause you will get tombstone,RIP.
Fog " W/ 2 GG's " Was On #OneLifeToLive In 1989.

According to another commenter, the lawyer's sister stole her identity, then did something that ended up getting her killed.
@@danialyousaf6456
Nope. Same actress but that was an older episode. A senior lawyer killed her because he gave her a poor review and she was going to retaliate by accusing him of sexual harassment which was false.
@@toastnjam7384 oh ok.

The poem sounded good to me
Jackie didn't deserve to die
She assumed it was a male killer, why could a woman not have done it.
Well they did mention semen was found on her soooo!!!
@@benjamintribe4652 I was mentioning the assumption!
They were basing that off finding semen on the lawyer
@@mariyam9861 that can be planted!
Most killers are male, by a wide margin. And she has semen on her. Also we have a female victim (women kill mostly men). IT's reasonable to suppose the aggressor is male, but one should not discard women.
Name of movie plz
The name of the TV show is already in the title lmaooo

Does anyone in the U.S. actually say that? "Call 911"? It sounds so fake. I would expect people to say, "call a doctor" or "call an ambulance". And if it is clear that the person is dead, "I think we have to call the police".
We definitely say "Call 911." If you need an ambulance or police, if it's an emergency, that's what you do.
we say "call 911" lool
As fake as it sounds, we definitely say "call 9-1-1", especially in medical emergencies
Calling 9-1-1 is what you do to report any type of emergency, and the dispatcher will send firefighters, police, paramedics, etc according to the situation
However, in cases like robberies, assualt, etc, people will also say "call the police", which again, is just calling 9-1-1
Yeah, those were the words I used when I came across a situation where someone needed assistance. I said, "Could you please call 911? I think someone needs help. "
If someone looks dead as a cold turkey there's no use to call an Ambulance, not just in the US.
I can’t wait to see Baltimore ravens vs the New York jets on September 11th 2022 and see a special ceremony for the 20th anniversary of 9/11 on September 11th for 9/11 at the New York jets stadium in Rutherford New Jersey
