    Hey Booma,
    When looking at higher level players as a GC 2 I always notice something about their braketaps in order to get better control. Could you possibly make a video to break this down in depth? I barely see any youtuber talk about this even though it seems massive!
    Thanks for the quality content

      Of course this is something I can make quick and simple I'll make it it's own video because that has to deal with managing momentum but I'll reply to you again when it's uploaded!

    Looking forward to you streaming again 🫡 I’m a 2.5k hour kbm player, more of a freestyler, but like to play well of course. Recently broke my wrist and have this big thing on my wrist the next few months so I’m taking on learning controller, it’s kind of like starting with a clean slate, so I’m hoping to not make the bad habits I had. Do you think a coaching session with you would be worthwhile for me? If so, which kind of session? 🤔

    • @BoomaRL
      @BoomaRL  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh I’m sorry to hear that about your wrist :( cheers to a speedy recovery! Hmm well again I don’t really push my coaching so that’s completely up to you! I’ve coached people from diamond to grand champ in just a few sessions. If you’re not trying to gain bad habits then I think analyzing your own replays and tendencies is key!

      Hey brother you’re already doing so well grinding 1s not a lot of people do that. If it’s truly your mechs holding you back you just gotta focus setting yourself up when you earn or gain space

    Looking forward to the flip manipulation video. I agree mechanics takes lots of time and muscle memory, i was watching a pro replay and he air dribbled from one side to the other, and after he front flipped the ball out of the top corner, he had his car rotating upwards to turn into the air dribble in one fluid motion.. I can't for the life of me figure out how to manipulate my car that way. Understanding the mechanics would make practicing so much easier. Many pros never tell you about manipulation, they just say, it's muscle memory. Looking forward to doing a coaching session. I'm almost 40 and a gc, but playing fast and game sense is was got me there, not my mechanics. Thank you for the videos.

      @@teksgaming755 you are completely fine and YES that’s exactly what made me want to do content because there’s not enough professional players out there who can break down exactly what they’re doing. You can’t blame all of them because most of them are quite young. With that being said I’ll try to go in as much depth as possible and hell yeah bro you’re an inspiration to me I wanna be good at gaming still when I reach 40. Keep gaming legend! 🙏

      Thanks homie I hope it helps! Trust me I’ve been around the game a long long time I know how awkward those corner situations get. I was able to get SSL in 3s following the advice I said in this video. Most of the confusion in low ranked 3v3 stems from corner play so it’s good to just cut it out as soon as possible. But if the other team slows themselves down it’s good to take advantage you can see how much damage I did to the other team just because they were slow and I was presenting the issue

      hey man thanks again for this video. really has made a difference for me. i can see and exploit the opponents goal-line confusion much quicker and more clearly now. can also see it quicker/clearer on my teams end, so i can easily intervene to get things moving again. has actually been the difference maker and helped me win more games. much appreciated

    Hey booma I have a question, in 2v2 solo-q is it better to always play behind your tm8 or should I be the one taking the lead generating most of the plays? I’m saying this because sometimes I get lost and don’t know what to do and usually get scored.

    • @BoomaRL
      @BoomaRL  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Can make this a whole video for you! It’s something that’s very situational and dependent on how your solo queue teammate plays. I wouldn’t always be behind your teammate since that could also lead to you getting scored on. But yes I can provide some examples for you & give the best advice possible especially since I solo queued to SSL in 2s. It can be real tricky

    I ranked up to gc1 pretty fast by ballchasing and trying to play faster and faster but now I feel like I lack mechanics and car control to recover and to keep the right momentum when approching the ball from the other side of the field. When I play a lot in a session I tend to get narrow vision and only do speedflips while boosting the whole game and it create only one kind of momentum which is easily readable by the opponent since I'm chasing. So now I'm trying to approach the ball with other momentums and flips but there's so many I can't choose the best one in a situation. There are normal forward flips without cancelling the stick, 45° diagonal flips without cancelling stick, 45° diagonal flips but keeping the stick in the same direction until landing (useful for chaining flips while powersliding), wavedashing, speedflipping with and without free airroll, 45° diagonal flip with free airroll and 45° diagonal flip with free airroll by powersliding to turn 45° (useful to setup the ball on the wall). There's also cancelling flips on the same side of the stick (top left to bottom left) or on the opposite side (top left to bottom right). I'm getting the hang of it now after testing new keybinds allowing me to use directional ar left and right while also having powerslide and free airroll binded to different places to have better recoveries that keep momentum. Also, I found that when approching the ball from far away (where you can flip before touching it) you can either do one of the flips listed above on the right side or the left side but the correct one to chose is often the one which makes you cross the ball axis (if the car is turned a bit too much to the left of the ball instead of flipping on the right side trying to play the fastest move mindlessly you can create a momentum by turning to the right crossing the ball axis and then cancelling it perfectly by flipping back on the left side in the ball axis).

      This is super in depth thought process & I like the way you think but as a chronic overthinker myself it’s also good to not over think in RL & trust your gut instincts

      Update : I finally mastered situational flips after training my kickoffs (adapting if close, mid tier or farway) I feel like I'll be able to reach gc2 and stay there this season I also improved my wall recoveries and powerslide accuracy.

      Playing with instinct works well after a long break of the game but you get your bad habits back pretty fast if you don't understand what you're doing completely

    I feel like this would help a lot of people, how do we stay in the play, get our hand in the play, and have the correct momentum and position in 2s? I’m gc2 in 1s and gc1 in 2s rn with 1.9k hours and I’m a mechanical person, so I feel like this is a very good question to ask you. @Booma
