Hi how are you? can you tell me if there is something that extracts the leads from an audio loop ? For example extracting from a drum loop, the kick, clap, hihats, percussion, all separately keeping your loop, or something that extracts the mid from the elements of a drum separately, you know something, you were looking at Reegrove but the company is no longer active
Can you explain why you want to go to such extreme trouble to do this, when you can just press Ctrl+Alt+D in Bitwig to slice the onsets, setup the Sampler, and create the MIDI in 2 seconds? Your setup time is so slow that you have to be really focused on working with "the one" break instead of exploring breaks. By the time you got that one break imported into TAL I could have sliced 20 breaks in Bitwig already.
What operating system are you using? Propellerhead has stated that Recyle is only supported on OS Catalina. I use Monterrey and the program just crashes. I would love to be able to use it though.
This is fantastic and exactly what I needed. I got a bunch of stuff from Hainbach and me needs to chops it up for that TAL sound.....

I still use it, its still the most intuitive, chopping method in my humble opinion
its a solid tool to this day. still use it as well!

Oh that's a bummer to hear, didn't know about that :( would love to see a modern refresh of recycle. lets hope they do it eventually

lala ai is really the only one i know about, but not sure how well it works on leads
When I import the sf2 file in tal it puts the file onto 2 layers is this right as can’t move the end start point it played double of every slice

Not really - though some people swear by the algorithms in Recycle. More nostalgia for me
Pitty they dropped support for hardware samplers, otherwise still a great product to work with

Ah bummer on it crashing. I'm running an M1 on Ventura & pretty stable. Tried a clean install?
I wonder if it would be possible to run through Wine or similar as a workaround on macOS?
I still use it everyday, nothing comes close in my opinion :)
