I've wanted a g50 car for as long as I can remember. I'm also an '88, lol, so it's only fitting. In the late 90's my dad was 993 shopping and I walked right over to the older cars on the lot. I'll have one in the driveway soon. Thank you for the video.

Excellent summary! 4 years with my 1988, and I couldn’t be happier!

I have a 86 911 M491 Targa. It comes with the 915 transmission and it’s a real treat to drive. Very old school feel but when you adjust your shifting to the transmission set up, it’s very satisfying. Remember the 915 is an original Porsche racing transmission and it shows! Love it. Not faulting the G50 - also fantastic - but I don’t think it justifies any premium apart from being the latter end of the series.

It is missing the rear spoiler if the front spoiler was originally mounted at the factory. They where mounted together ex factory to keep the balance right at high speed.
    Great looking 911 👍

The pricing is absolutely absurd on these cars. They should be selling for about $20k USD imho. Insane.

Why is it in KM if it’s an American car? Has large bumper pads

Hey Mike, the car is a Canadian market car. Originally sold in BC. I'm not sure where the "American car" part comes from. Cheers, Cor

      Isn’t it strange how:
      UK - RHD and MPH
      US - LHD and MPH
      CAN - LHD and KMPH
AUS and NZ - RHD and KMPH
If we could all just agree on a universal system there might be less hesitation for manufacturers to enter every market when they release a new car.
