I legitimately forgot that roaches heal when burrowed. It used to be their defining characteristic, along with being heavily armored. They're tough to kill, like their namesake.

Could we just take a quick second to appreciate that Bly had creep tumors bordering the staging grounds next to the terrans 2nd/3rd at 8 minutes with a creep cleanup crew having swept through at 6 minutes.

I am from Poland too but Pyotr actually makes more sens becouse if you go for "Piotr" you hear that "Pioter" how most people are pronoucing it. Outside of Poles even other Slavs have hard time prounacing Polish names, you won't hear that often from foreigners.

After seeing how long bly contained soul on 2 bases i was sure that this was going to game 3 after what you mentioned @ 35:18 with him being up in supply as well but was pleasantly surprised. They both played very well and it was interesting to see someone go so hard in to a roach build as ive always liked the idea of burrowed roaches, i dont see players use roaches to make tanks kill each other nearly as often as id like to 🤣
i was rooting for bly most of the time but either way it was an impressive series from both sides.
When lowko said "omg bly! You're making it so hard!" He wasn't talking about the state of the game he was casting.
Man, Soul has put his entire... soul into this game. What a hold!
Oh man that fight in the second game around 17:00... soul almost threw the game right there I think, I think if he stayed closer to his tanks, he would crush Bly in that push.... great fun though and my heart goes out to soul for withstanding such an annoying to deal with strategy (but also kudos to Bly, a very fun watch).
I know i've been commenting this a lot, but the recent standard of Starcraft games has been insane, and SO exciting! and nothing captures that excitement as much as Mr Lowko's casting..... just top notch stuff!

Roaches live up to their namesake. One second their there next gone while constantly popping up where you don't want them. Pains in the ass indeed 😂
I'm not a SC2 player nor did I ever play seriously, I just love watching zerg done well and Lowko casts. There is something about the game that upsets me but I hid it so it won't spoil the games for anyone...
Despite how balanced they might be (I'm not good enough to know), Mules still grate me as a mechanic for Terran.

I love seeing these roach armies. While a zergling army is following the numberless army fantasy, the roach armies are like having a army of monsters the size of a small truck
Fuck me I haven't played SC2 in like 5 years and I still started sweating just watching the pressure from the zerg.
The misclick MULEs were amusing, but I was very triggered by how soul just sat them under medivacs and didn't even use them to repair.
He could have used the mules to fix his medivacs, they would have paid for themselves partially that way. Instead they were wasted doing nothing.

Incredibly good games by Bly it really makes things feel fresh Soul by no means played bad but the constant dance between those roaches and the terran army was lovely to watch

Excellent cast! It was really wonderful to watch. And I agree with you about what you're saying about APM. Bly and soul are fast, but I have the feeling that Reynor, Maru, Clem, Serral and all those top players are just faster, but also they are more accurate with them. I don't see, for example, Maru getting as much difficulties to deal with Bly's shenanigans as soul had (once he has figured it out, which is something else). Just because he is so good at being nearly everywhere at the same time. soul didn't show that amount of reactivity. He played nicely, but I can see why he isn't as high as you would like. He doesn't die to all the tricks Bly is using just because he's used to it. But I can't see him being able to stop players who just play faster and more accurately. And same goes for Bly. His gameplay is refreshing and I really like when you cast his games, but he has to be faster to be able to win against better players. He is good at making you frustrated. But some people are just impervious to this kind of mental warfare.
Soul was playing incredibly cautiously in game 2 as if Bly had another base on the map but was also not really checking to see if one was there. I want to know what he was thinking.

That last game Soul almost threw when he just plowed his vastly superior army into a giant cluster fuck and lost it all to biles. A tiny bit of a patience there and he wins easily.

hey jdut asking the comments section iv been starting too follow csgo esports but I just bare watching replays of matches with the load ass casters and I'm looking for someone with the same vibe and style as lowko. becouse there just pleasent too watch.

I wonder how Serral, Reynor, Dark or Rogue would do if they tried to incorporate Bly's builds into their games. Will they be able to refine them/execute them better or fall flat on their faces because these builds aren't optimized.
I can't help but feel like making Siege Tanks in that last game was a mistake and that Soul should have instead gone for Banshees. They pick up Nydus Worms with ease and push back Roaches and Ravagers incredibly quickly. They are also basically immune to being biled down unless you micro them horribly. I do know they take a little longer to build, but they just seem like the perfect defense in that situation.

Why soul explained the missclick? What is dirty on dropping MULEs in the field (to repair mechanical units for example)?
I have a question which I have wondered for quite some time so could Mr. Lowko himself answer or someone else. Why do pro zergs seem to barely never use roach tunneling claws micro same way as protoss use stalker blink micro? Or even just regen health back up to roaches after a fight. I mean to me it at least feels like roach tunnel micro would be about as good as blink micro or do I miss something? is it just that zergs prefer to save the APM to something else?
Yup, zergs use APM mostly to outmacro opponents.
To play super fast you propably doesn't want to mess with muscle memory which you are trying to preserve so thats why it is mostly absent.
A couple of reasons - unlike Blink they are still in range of attack so if there is detection or a scan you lose them for nothing. Also unlike Blink its not an upgrade you can get before Stim - this is mainly where individual Blink micro comes into play. So its like a worse ability on a weaker unit that arrives later.

But still there is one thing Im confused which is why zergs dont regen health back for roaches outside of the battle? I mean i dont think thats so micro heavy thing to do. I have seen many times in pro games when zerg has over 10 roaches on yellow health and never heal them back up by just getting burrow upgrade and burrow them down and then up. Or is the reason that they dont wanna risk that they forget roaches borrowed which might mess up things? but yeah I totally understand its really possible that they dont do tunneling claws micro in battle.

People already do that. That would make no sense since people like Mapu or whatever his name is already doing that. Mapu is a "pro" tournament observer following the players better than most normal spectators. I would also guess that Lowko woudn't be allowed to only be an observer for us and post that content on YT since that is other guys:es jobs and i haven't seen any such SC2 content on youtube as well. That'd be my guess anyway

I think if Bly had managed to sneak a base into the top right corner in the last game, he would have won. Still an incredible game.
Uff that last fight in the first game was literally 15 seconds before finishing +2. I feel like Bly was a bit all over the place.

In several of your videos where you talk about AlphaStar you say that 1500APM is not human, but in this video Bly is over 1500 several times? e.g. on 35:14 he hits 1797 and even more crasy on 39:32 were he hits 2419. I know that it is not during a hole minute, but still, that's insane.

i feel like ultras should not be affected by spells; like the old frenzy ability. They are already weak enough, having a purpose as a late game unit beyond just instantly dying would be nice.

Why Zerg only have 1 air attack unit to ground attack unit?
it's a shame they don't have the mmr calculation for SC2 calibrated such that the best of the best are 2 thousand points higher... for no reason ;)
Speaking of mules, I have a legitimate question for TvT: Why don't we see anyone dropping mules on enemy armies that are protected by siege tanks to force some damage before a fight? We saw it with burrowed roaches, but as far as I can tell, if you have vision on the army, mules can't be stopped like the roaches could have been.
Do they just not get targeted because they have no attack?
I've seen it several times in pro TvT.
