Same! You can tell they put their heart and soul into this game. They showed just as much love with the DS and 3DS versions. Rather than just a lazy portable version they were unique and creative games in their own right.
@@atroll4160the switch technically had mario kart 8 deluxe. i mean it's mk8, but with new levels, and the booster course pass is pretty much a different game with the amount of courses
This was the first Mario Kart I've ever owned and played. I remember jamming out to the music so damn much that I would get last place every single race. The nostalgia is real in this one. 😊
Use the bounce and power slide, and think about using the brake. Its probably the hardest Mario Kart. Original SNES game wasn't as hard to control given the course designs but the AI would cheat like crazy, here you get a bit more reasonable AI but harder courses.

Loved how slippery that game felt when drifting
Most of the time, I would usually choose either Yoshi or Princess Peach.
I prefer to avoid peach because she is harder to keep in a drift as well as get a mini turbo.
