I have a theory about Dreams nightmare if you hate reading then don’t read this lol
I belive that people can respawn as much as they like but when the Nightmare takes over the mind and body since it’s a new body as we see dream turn Red instead of dream and the mask if a differnt colour since the Nightmare isn’t a physical Charcter it won’t respawn which means if dream ever died in his nightmare form he won’t respawn buttttt in the first episode we see dream health go down and “dies” but since he was in his original form he would respawn butt I am guessing that dream did respawn but the nightmare tp dream back to where he died because dream still had some of his meomery left and remembers Sapnap as we see when he has a quick flash back then nightmare turns on and I can prove that the nightmare is another entity because in Dream vs Techno we see that techoblade forced the nightmare entity and locked it into the nether and As I said earlier Dream can die forever if he’s in his nightmare form as we see in Dream vs Mr beast finale when mrbeast toke the nightmare power away from dream he actaully died then the Old nightmare form toke back controll of Dreams body but dream could controll that entity since he already had it
