@@REZNAP it is not a refurbishment of an MG42, but it is basically the same weapon. It is chambered for 7.62x51 NATO and depending on the bolt weight (it's swappable) it can fire at 800 or 1200 rounds per minute.

Therefore they don't have the rights of a prisoner of war, and as they're technically civilians they can be charged with murder if they are taken prisoner.

I'm thinking about goig there too.I am a U.S. Army veteran of eight years. Even though i have an 11 year old son here in the US and a 3 1/2 month boy in the Philippines. I just came back here in the US from the Philippines to work for about 6 months or 1 year.. My heart tells me to go there and help the Ukranians and the foreign troops. Let me just work first so i can pay my bills which is not much anyway and i have to buy gears and a plane ticket towards Poland first. My elderly mom would not like this since she already had her 2nd stroke and i am basically her guardian. Let's see how it goes from here on. Slavi Ukraine.
