- Judy Faulkner is the founder and CEO of Epic Systems. Judy started Epic in 1979 in a basement in Madison, Wisconsin, and 41 years later more than 250 million patients have a current electronic record in Epic. Her company’s enormous success led Forbes to name Judy the most successful female technology company founder.
One of the few self-made women billionaires, Judy has signed the Giving Pledge started by Bill & Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett, pledging 99% of her assets to philanthropy to help others.
In our discussion, Judy takes us back to the start of Epic, when she was a student lured into the new field of computer science, and the journey that brought her to where she is today.
I miss my Epic friends!! Thank you for all you continue to do!!
I think she is a genius🤯 I wish I could become Epic Certified online 😔
Thanks for sharing - great perspectives and story
Judy, Your decision to stay private and elimination of controlling investors is the smartest move you ever made. Having investors is giving controls of your airplane to a person that never flew a plane. I wish someone would have explained that to me.
Girls in STEM rock! I am certified in EPIC!
That's a man.
That guy Judy always impresses me!
i love her story and im inspired ,will love working for organisation here in Dubai
This is good information for students to know because we are in a digital age of technology.
Good morning my daughter Judy love respect for one story love respect family Members Gates story genuinely...
Least known billionaire
I would love to buy stocks of Epic Systems... If it's comparable to Veeva Systems (Life Sciences Softwares), it has high margins, low capex, low debt, in a high growth + defensive sector. It also has a huge market share of the healthcare software sector.
Let me know if it's possible in a way or another.
Judy, you’re the best man we’ve ever seen in tech! Keep it up guy!
I'm baby for reading sorry my daughter I will understand this point...
need to make more close range shots. Too many missed lay ups.
Yes. What team are you referring to? The Golden State Worryers? Warriors?
