In this video we get to make a few new friends, we start out by going to a cool old place that used to be an apple storage warehouse, where we are going to help do some demolition and clean up in some adventures to come, latter we return to the shop to help with a school project for one of Tom and Michaels friend.
Sometimes being the Road Wanderer I think back on my life and all the people I have known and wonder about what life's rode has instore for me, the little bit of sadness that I feel passes with time as I learn again and again how to live in the present.
I hoe y'all guys enjoy this adventure, it's a lot of fun for me to be able to bring you with me.

I am 65 and never had kids. My husband died 4 years after we got married and he was the LOVE of my life. Got married at 33 and widowed by 37. I surround myself with family and friends to keep me sane. God bless you
Hey brother some deep thoughts there I hear you all the way ive been in recovery along time and I'm 48 years old now and I've got alot of health issues and that thought recently came to mind I've not ruled it completely out but was having a hard think that I would not be able to have a family of my own due to health issues I did tell you not long ago I suffered a heart issue called full heart block and have a pacemaker due to it I've also got COPD which is a lung issue so they are two of the main issues that stop me straight away in life where I can't do a normal day to day activity like bathing myself and dressing myself too but it doesn't mean I won't meet a lovely lady who might have children and I still can adopt her children if things go to plan and I marry her or decide she's will be my life partner there are loads of ways matt OK where it's still possible to have a family of your own stay strong and try not to get yourself down on this subject my brother I hope you think this over and if you need us we will always be here ❤🙏🏽
You know Matt.... its not my place to say but im not too sure your family appreciated what you gave and gave up and put in. But look how much you have grown since becoming on your own. I am a stranger and notice such a growth and progression of you just since the show. Youre an amazing person and would be a great husband and Dad. But if that doesnt happen, all the things youve shared and taught us (your followers and friends) l. I know youve changed so many of my days just because youre a light in the darkness of this world. Matt, thanks for being so vulnerable to all of us. I believe what you’re going through is not odd at all. Sometimes your friends are your best family. Your reflection into life just shows you have the Lords spirit in your heart. Continue to take a day at a time, trust in the Lord and let Him guide you.
Matt God has your life planned. You are in your waiting period for his blessings. I know your family sure hasn't treated you right and I know you miss your momma. As we age those things that meant the most and lost in our lives really wake us up to what we miss so bad and we are getting to our twilight years, and time is fleeting for us. I do wish you could see your family and especially your momma. I've lost mine, my oldest brother, and my older sister, and as I reach my time on this earth if your like me you think of memories and those passed on. It's hard for you and you have worked hard to straighten your life out. Just know you in God's will need a partner to share your life with. I pray he grants that for you. Love your videos❤.❤❤
The best companion is a fur baby! They don't care what car you drive, what house you live in, how much money you have , what you weigh or how old you are! Their fiercely loyal and all they need is LOVE!
Absolutely.. Jeff and I have been married for 43yrs. and our children have always been fur children not human children ❤
Putting yourself out there a whole month at the shop, taking yourself out of your comfort zone….that’s a lot. I’m so proud of you recognizing the need to socialize and taking that leap of faith full force. That’s been the hardest for me in my growth journey- I still haven’t been able to let friends in and around me. You have TWO really GOOD GUYS😊 around you, that care …..a lot. Don’t make the mistake of overthinking things. Sometimes it may feel uncomfortable…not being in your own home. But you’re SAFE w/ them. Nurture this friendship by returning their good deeds….maybe sharing Chopaka w/ them. That’s your area of knowledge and where you feel most comfortable/confident. You are VERY BLESSED to have these new friends. KEEP THEM CLOSE. I pray someday I too can let people in and have a circle of friends around me again.

You're such a lovely guy I'm sure whatever the future holds will be bright for you. You're not alone, we all love you ❤❤
I am 70 and sometimes i look in the mirror and wonder where the years went...its like yesterday i was young and all of a sudden im old...i still feel good most days. If i was to give advice...i would say do the things and surround yourself with those that make you feel good about yourself.. life can get complicated and we all have something that bothers us. Hey Matt, don’t pressure yourself into anything. Get your ducks in a row and see where they take you, enjoy life!! I’m a mama to 4 kids and I wish I waited until later in life to start but you know what, that’s where life took me and I’m embracing my motherhood! You’re doing great and I’m happy to get to see you making new friends and doing awesome things!
You have done an amazing job on recovery, you needed the time on the farm for transition and I would expect to see you where you are now. God has guided you this far and you can trust him to guide you in the future.

Normal is just a word. You are a huge inspiration to so many. But I know how you feel about being alone. My husband passed away 3 years ago and I live in a small home out in the country. I stay home 99% of the time with my 2 dogs. I am quite content in being alone. You should consider getting a dog from the pound. They make such a difference. Hang in there my friend. God knows what He’s doing and He’s using you to help others right now.
You are so right when you say LIVE IN THE MOMENT....dont worry about anything, God takes care of tomorrow....everything will come together when you least expect....keep the faith and make your plans to go on the road because that SPECIAL PERSON is out there...give it time....men are never to old....be content, live, laugh and love all you do...pray, meditate and all will be well Matt....been there❤❤❤

Hi Matt. Just remember to allow God to be the captain of your life, and ask him to show you what is best for YOUR life. I think you would love have my an immediate family and possibly children. But if it is not really what you want, don’t feel pressure to do it because everyone else expects you to follow the popular way. It is a huge commitment to be a husband and father and it takes a lot of give and take. The rewards are wonderful if it is what you yearn for. Meanwhile, keep enjoying your life, work hard for success as you define it, and anticipate what the good Lord has in store for you. Always work your program, it is what got you this far 🙌🏻

Matt, you're doing everything that you can to stay sane. There is no right or wrong way to live your life. You just keep on keeping on! Little Joe Dirt there. But it helps get me through a lot of stuff. I'm 45, married, 2 girls, and I just had the same thoughts a little bit ago that you're having. Where'd the time go? What if this isn't the way life was supposed to go? Should I have been single all my life? Then, when something positive happens, I come out of that funk. But I'm just like you. You're doing just fine, buddy. A hell of a lot better than a lot of folk that I know. Keep your head up and just do what makes and keeps you happy, my friend!
Matt I hope this helps: I grew up on a farm not like yours!!! But a farm!!! O got clean because of you!! I never missed an episode after I saw y’all at the gas’s station that day!! My famly wasn’t as loving as yourself!! I’ve been alone along time because my family is my trigger!!! I don’t have friends or family because I’m afraid everyone I’ve ever loved hurry or disappointments me!!! I was in a coma a few years back they fed me full of Narcotics and I became addicted ! When I saw how brave you were I thought maybe I can do it to!! Now years later I’m clean!!!! I was so happy when I found your channel !! I always wondered how your journey was going!!! I’m so proud of you!!! It’s not easy dealing with your own demons!!!! Feeling alone in this big world sucks!!! Your doing great Matt who can say what's normal. Fate steps in when you least expect it. When my husband past away I said that's it going to be alone thought I didn't need another man then in walked a wonderful man we are together growing strong two years now. Sometimes we don't know what will come to us but you will know when it happens. Mean while hang tight stay strong and believe. ❤

Matt, I know the feeling of being alone. One good thing about it is the peace you have. Some people are just made to be alone. Don't beat yourself up. Matt, sometimes we think we'll get married and have a family but it doesn't turn out that way. I was married then divorced, no kids. Now I'm single again and living my best life. Only you can make your life happy. Just march to the beat of your own drummer and be your authentic self. I am! 🤗

Very special share Matt. Those moments of reflection are good, we do not know the unknown and it is normal to question our direction regardless of ones age. One day you may cross paths with a beautiful loving young lady and it can light up a part of you that is being held special in your heart. You as a man are in a great place, doing the work and trying to figure out a whats next. Try to not get discouraged but have hope and faith that there may be new beginnings right around the corner. Your living a normal life for you. I've been widowed 2 times before I was 40. I'll be 72 soon. Still alone and I have children and grandchildren and still feel alone. Find someone nice Matt. I wish you were my son . I never had a son. Kerp up the good work and God Bless you.

Matt you did such a wonderful job with Emma's video for school. You asked her great questions. You did a fantastic job editing it. I feel an A coming. You are such a great person, never forget that. We all self reflect and wonder if I did this or if I did that what would life be like. I know I do. One question they ask you in psychology class is if you would truly change anything about your life. I really thought about that. If I changed this than I would not have something I do want. Plus the person I am now is because of some of the things that happened in my life. I feel it made me a more compassionate person. Actually a better person and more understanding of others problems. I know exactly what you mean Disposable World...and I agree I shop second hand for 95 % of what I own, furniture clothing tools and everything in-between...Yard sales Thrift stores OfferUp and so on ,,and everything i have I love its all great stuff.. no need to buy retail. I’m 42, that’s how I feel at times…old. It never use to bother me but recently having ppl pass away around me…makes me think. I am single no kids, but I do raise my niece, as I have helped raised my other niece and nephews, they: she brings me so much joy. I work and spend my time with family but knowing i don’t have my own family or just not having someone sometimes makes me think. I am grateful to have time with the ppl I have and life that I was given. What is normal thou? What is it to be normal?…all I know is each day that I’m given I am truely grateful. Great job helping Emma. I think everyone goes thru a point of reflection on their life. Things we still wanna do, things we didn’t get around to, wondering if this is it for my life... did I wander too long... did I take a wrong path. Thank God you are in a place in your life you CAN reflect. Some people don’t get the chance. Things can always happen. It may not be in the cards for you to have a brood of kids... but also you could meet someone in a week and have a whole mess of kids or be a step dad to other kids. No matter what you should be proud you have gotten yourself to a place where you can have a future and be a positive influence for other people.
Finally someone who thinks the same❤ I totally understand what you mean. I have been alone also a long time not that I wanted to but life has treated me quite hard way, especially these few years. Usually I'm very stubborn and pushing through hard times but now when I'm getting older I have started to get depressed. If you ever want to chat with me about life and shearing thoughts just say so, I would be happy to get to know you😊

Ha ha haaa oh Matt that was fantastic ! If that whole video wasn't the epitome of normal, then I don't know what is! Makes me want to go hang out with my little buddy Coltin! He absorbs everything. Because of me, he now knows 13 numbers of pi. Lol we were discussing infinite things one night after I got out of work. I told him there's an infinite number. It just keeps going and going. The last time I saw him he told me that he's memorized 13 of them and listed them out😅

Matt i really do understand what you are talking about i think about that and this is the way i see it ! I lost my husband in 2019 we were married for 25 years we grew up together so we knew each other all are lives my family and his family we grew up close! We didn't have children but God did give us plenty of nephews and nenices we help raise and my husband would tell me all the time we wasn't ment to have children God had a different plan for me and him and we were blessed with many many of Children!

I had a Yorkie too. I miss him dearly. They have personality. Best dog I've ever owned.
@@katfish000 We rescued ours, she was kept in a bathroom for 8 to 10 hours. No blanket or bed. Poor little thing we miss her a lot.
You have a lot of good years ahead of you Matt? I am 68 never married no kids all my family are gone. So its very lonely but I adapt. And really what is normal? Its something different for each person. Your normal isn't my normal and my normal isn't someone else's. So please dont get depressed. Start praying to God to show you the path you should be taking, dont leave him out of your decision making. And perhaps you should get a dog before you get kids lol better to try that out first. to make sure your ready for that commitment. Even if you never have a family I found family comes from others also. Friends are my new circle of family. God Bless you and we are all rooting for you.
I love watching people in recovery. It's uplifting. I found another channel recently called The gal with no plan. It reminds me of this channel with some of the struggles. Like having a hard time dealing with people after being alone.
I think when the right person comes along, you will know.

Matt, if you decide to stay alone and if you have the chance to, you can take a trip in the us and also oversees to come and meet all of your friends, that would be an adventure. It cost a little, but I'm sure we all will welcome you with open arms and a bed to sleep in. No matter what you chose its no right abd wrong my friend.

Happy birthday on Sunday Melanie! I think even if you don't have kids, you still leave a legacy for children in your family. Don't give up, maybe foster a child? Matt could also do that, and I think he would be an awesome daddy to some lucky child.

I'm 12/13 years clean, weed. Recovery can be up and down with lots of emotions. From the sound of things It sounds like you've gone through some hard issues. Like I said before I'm on season 4 of ABP, and will be catching up on where exactly you and your family are at. I hope you uys are doing well, and staying safe and healthy. Cool video Matt history is always amazing. I don't know much history in your area . But as we get older I'm kind of a historian for my area which is northern mn. And I think if a family is in your future God will let you cross paths with the right person when it's time. and what is a normal life ?as long as your happy that's all that matters if there is things in your life that are missing that you think would make you happy just do what it takes to make adjustments to fill that void in your life. Did you notice the huge flat belt pulley you guys walked right next to wonder what that used to run or maybe the engine that used to run it
