When you're ready for Evolve I would suggest a double reaction - first the OMV so you can watch Pau's expressions, followed by the live version from the 2023 MTV VMAs. Enjoyed your reaction and yes I stuck around. Some people might give you a hard time with all the initial stopping, but you have to stop to point out what you're seeing. I would suggest Evolve next as I mentioned, or Disciple live from the Teatro Metropolitan. Or you could go with songs off the new album. Tons of material.
16, 19 & 21 here. Pau arrived with gaffers tape for a Mexican waist belt and 200 safety pins for her costume. Ale just had her wisdom teeth extracted and needed assistance standing between takes. She was mesmerized by the aquatic model’s performance. Dany shows her chops as brilliantly as always.
Ale is a total professional. Who has seen the video where she falls on her back during Z and carries on playing? Ale is awesome.

@@davem793Ale doesn’t sing that part in the studio version it’s all Dany. She only sings it live because Dany and Pau have to hold sustained notes over the part where Dany’s vocals come in on the studio track.

No weak points. People run out of words. Daniela (Dany), vocals, guitar; Paulina (Pau) drums, vocals, Alejandra (Ale) bass, backing vocals. All multi instrumentalists, classically trained pianists. Paulina has written and co-directed one of their latest videos, not much they can’t pull off and make it look easy.
Pau sings lead or co-lead on something like 30% of their songs. Ale doesn't usually sing lead, but can cover for Dany on a few songs if Dany needs to rest her voice.
This video was my first exposure to The Warning. I was hooked and have been trying to watch all their stuff since then. Incredible band and story. Enjoy the journey.
It was also my gateway to The Warning. I'm still recovering! 🙂

It's stuff like this that makes it obvious why they are selling out every headline show they play, and are in high demand as an opening act for larger bands. They are living their nearly 11-year-old dream and pinching themselves every day to be sure it's real. They truly love what they do, and they do it so well they will be around as long as they want to be. Their new album is shaping up to be huge. DON'T MISS the songs pre-released from *Keep Me Fed,* including *More, Sick, Hell You Call a Dream, Que Mas Quieres, Automatic Sun,* and *Burnout.*
I had the same reaction to Choke when I first saw this MV on its premiere. At the time I felt that it was one of the best MVs ever made. I also got to see them perform this live from their home rehearsal space known as The Warning Cave. We were at a record store in Studio City CA, and they streamed their performance live and did an interview with Matt Pinfield from MTV. Then, a week later I got a message that the band was in town for another interview with Matt at the same store. Since it was only about 4 miles from my house I dropped everything and got to hang with Pau and Dany for an hour. Ale missed the trip since she just had wisdom teeth extracted. So glad I was there. This band has too many exceptional performances to list here, but you might want to checkout their MV for Martirio. It’s my all time favorite song/video by the band. If you’re ever feeling down or having a bad day, put on anything by The Warning, and your mood will improve dramatically. Enjoy your continued discovery. We’ll all be watching! I definitely made it to the end. You'll want to check out their live version of Choke from Teatro Metropolitan or, one that often gets overlooked, live in the SiriusXM studios. Watching Dany pull off those crazy vocal runs live is fantastic.
The Warning RULES! In the section "Let me drown" Alejandra the bass player is the one who sings, when you watch this song perform live you will see Ale doing a solo part chorus the crowd loves it they all shout her name Ale, Ale! which is short for Alejandra. She has a beautiful voice.

I travel to Puebla, Mexico to the Tecate Comuna Festival to watch them, and let me tell you... If you get this excited over their video get yourself a defibrillator when you see them live!!! 🤯🤯🤯 These girls live are much better that it feels unreal!! First of all, they are gorgeous!! I was crying, and singing, and jumping, and screaming until they went backstage (and maybe a little after that 🤪) It was amazing!!! Go watch them if you can!!
Great band. Amazing presence and energy. Definitely go see them if you get the chance. To see "visual" Pau check out Survive from their 2017 TedX appearance or their video for XXI Century Blood.
Both complete TEDx are a must watch so I would recommend both presentations 2016 and 2017
Really really great reaction - I watch their videos pretty much every day, as I have been warned and 'sadly' now fully addicted. The reason I am addicted is probably not only the great music, compositions, lyrics etc..., but certainly their energy. This energy comes from their physicality how they perform, as you said, you can feel that they are in the moment. Their expressions, their body language, takes it to the highest level. When the lead singer and guitarist Daniela looks at you, this gives you an incredible energy and you fall for her. No other band at the moment does that to me. I saw them live 3 weeks ago in Leeds, and the energy they have, and in particular Dani, is out of this world. I was blown away. I believe that they are currently the best rock band in the world, but because they are female, maybe take longer in the music industry to ascend. Please look at all live videos from the Teatro Metropolitan, they are all worth it.

Glad to see you react to more The Warning. One small thing though, if you do not expect to also react to the live performance of Choke, I would always go for the latest live performance available on their channel, as they are one of those rare bands that are just better live.

Funny enough this video is released back in may 2021, while the concert video of Dust to Dust you watched before is recorded in august 2022. So they were at least a year older on the previous video, but they do have a little more make up on this video. So I can understand that you think they look older 😁
Fun fact 2: After their first studio album came out in 2017, they were invited to the TEDx talks for the 2nd time. They ended the speech with the following sentence "We're gonna say goodbye with this last song called Survive. You have been warned!" And everybody loved it. The whole fanbase The Warning Army started using this phrase. Because when you've watched/listened your first The Warning song, it's almost impossible to not be impressed and you'll immediately get effected by it. So you have been warned by watching it ⚡
Some background info for you: Dany (the guitarist) is normally the lead singer. Pau (the drummer) normally does a lot of backing vocals. In some songs such as 'Survive', 'Disciple' etc. Dany and Pau both sing leading vocals by switching turns. And there are some special songs that Pau sings the lead, such as 'Dust to Dust', 'Narcicista', or '23'.
They were indeed in the Netherlands for their first headliner show last month and luckily I was there too. But they are coming back to the Melkweg in Amsterdam at the 5th of august. The tickets are not expensive, so if you like what you see, you should buy a ticket 😉
Btw, if you've read my comment to this part, because not everyone does, I love your energy and style man. Just be yourself and keep making these great reaction video's. You don't need to change anything in the structure. Ga zo door topper!
You clearly had as much fun reacting as the band does playing, so we have fun watching you as well! No need to change anything, your enthusiasm is infectious! And just as TW videos need to be watched until the end, I also watch reactions to them until the end. You've gotten some great suggestions on which song to do next, but honestly you could just blindly pick ANY of their songs next and it'll be amazing. They simply don't write bad music. Even their latest single Burnout, which I admittedly like less than their other recent releases, is still a great song with a super catchy melody.

I saw them twice in 2022 supporting Halestorm and once in 2023 at a radio show with Nothing More, I Prevail, and Godsmack. Each time they had the entire crowd captivated from the first chorus, even those that had never heard of them prior. By the end of their set the crowd was on their feet and rocking. I'm hoping for more for dates in 2025, because the closest they'll be to me in 2024 is LA (I'm in AZ, about 9 hours away 😢).

I think you should react to present day music now with either hell you call a dream live at the Pepsi centre or Automatic Sun, a live footage with studio recording. When the option is live or music video…always choose live with The Warning. They have somehow figured out how to make their live stuff sound even better. Only caveat to this is 21st Century Blood. That’s a can’t miss music video. You really should just listen to the Teatro metropolitan performance and start at the beginning. The entire show video is segmented by song so it’s easy to follow song by song. There isn’t a single song that is average or below average. All of them are bangers.

I only re found them three months ago. I had seen their Enter Sandman Cover when they were wee children, but passed it off as cool, but just some talented kids. (shame on me). I kept getting suggestions to see shorts of Ale playing bass. I finally clicked on one. That lead me to their MTV VMA performance of Evolve. Down the rabbit hole I went. Now I have meet and greet tickets to see them in Boston in September.
You should check out that performance of Evolve next. Or just watch the entire Teatro Metropolitan concert and pick ANY. Also, new album comes out June 28th. 4 Singles and videos for them for the upcoming album have been released so far. This band ROCKS!!
All songs are my favorite, but tops are Zed, Evolve, Survive, Dust to Dust.... all of them. Circle back and watch the TED Talk performance of Survive, then watch the Teatro Metropolitan performance of it. AMAZING!! You will not regret it.

Although I would in general say "always go for live performances with The Warning", and _Choke_ is not an exception...there _is_ an exception to every rule (or in this case two). Their music videos for _XII_ _Century_ _Blood_ and _Qué_ _Más_ _Quieres_ are well worth a watch!

As amazing as this is, the live shows are 3x better somehow. Not only are they masters of rock dynamics and composition, their stage presence and crowd interaction is amazing. Look for lives from CDMX/2022 or 2023 for studios-quality sound and video capture. Try Hell You Call a dream at Pepsi Center next.
