I keep saying this but my favorite detail that some people aren’t realizing is, when Yoohyeon sings that thunder part, the others do a part of the Boca choreo. Also I’m surprised Sua is giving us so much energy till the end, that girl doesn’t get any breaks the whole song😟 but I mean it’s Sua so of course she can pull it off

Performing live is their thing. They have so many albums now and also back in the Minx days they literally busked on the streets, in shopping malls, etc. At this point they’ve easily got more live experience than anyone else in kpop.

dreamcatcher has had practice singing live while dancing to hard, fast paced choreos since their chase me era so i am far from surprised but still extremely impressed with every single stage. they keep getting better and better, and handong really is eating this era up!! she’s so confident and her vocal is so stable now

KBS). Just watch it. Again and again. It's basically "HOW TO COMMAND A MUSIC SHOW'S LIVE STAGE 101" (and mind you we're InSomnias lol biased or not, this is an undisputed fact = the stage is Dreamcatcher's home been that way since day 0). The comeback showcase is a great sampler for the choreo and highlights their absolutely stable vocals live, however to get a full appreciation of everything going on the dance practice cannot come highly recommended enough for viewing.
A number of the close up shots on members hide some truly spectacular elements from the rest of the group 🤩

You guys need to watch the dance video now the hand choreo in that JiYooDong part at 7:40 and the way they dance after Siyeon's high note (especially Sua) is sooo cool and you can't really appreciate it here bc of all the close-ups.
Seriously. Their choreo is just as impactful without all the dramatic cuts and zooms. It’s basically musical theater, and I freaking loooove that. 😍
@@Pajali for real. I actually was not that impressed with the choreo at first bc it looked a bit messy but then I realized it looks that way bc of all the amazing domino effects in the choreo. I understand the need for closeups but can they maybe not show a complete disregard for the choreo? lol

Don't feel so bad. I started with Dreamcatcher about two months after their debut in 2017. I am 56, a 10 year KPOP fan and they keep wrecking me to this day with each comeback. Even though Jiu was my long time favorite now I feel like a slight the others when I say that because no one is weak in this group. They are doing their best to push ahead of my top three groups of all time as I hold on to my first few groups from back then. I just changed my avatar to a butterfly to acknowledge the butterfly choker that Handong has on. Across many cultures it is a sign of rebirth and transformation which is what this current trilogy seems to be revealing to us.
🎃🧛🏻♀️ "Apocalypse : Broken Halloween" online concert (Oct 30, midnight PDT / 3am EDT; various packages) is finally available for purchase from My Music Taste. I suggest Live + VOD. The timing kind of sucks for live in USA, but it'll be Thanksgiving 🦃 before the VOD is available, and VOD cuts out all the costumed covers, which you don't want to miss. Presumably the studio audience will get to watch those pre-recorded segments.
I am not sure that if this is your first time watching a live performance of any of their songs, can't remember if you did any reactions for one or if you watched any in your spare time, but Dreamcatcher's live performances are always top notch! Always having amazing and steady vocals, kickass choreography and their stage presence is the best, where each member can shine without overshadowing another member. We support queens! 😆✌👑

I fell for them quickly too. Their music is amazing but like for me it's that they're super sweet women who genuinely like their job and are proud of their work. There are so many groups that I feel like they enjoy performing but they don't really stand by their music. Among Insomnia there's a saying that JiU is Dreamcatcher's #1 fan and it's really true. 😂 She will ask someone if they know Dreamcatcher in a second! Because they love themselves they give so much in each performance and I feel like a lot of people are finally recognizing that.
Talking about B-sides, you should check the video that INSOMNICSY just made for the b-side "Fairytale" I can only describe it as a Beautiful Punch in the Feelings.

Hi girls, I just binge-watched your Insomnia journey and it was great honestly, loved how you acknowledge their talent and just get destroyed by their visuals, cause same... xD
I'd like for you to know a few things about the behind-the-scenes people that help Dreamcatcher be Dreamcatcher, first, for the songs, their main producers are Leez and Ollounder (actual geniuses, also produced pretty much all of Ateez discography and a few more songs here and there), I bring them up because Leez usually sung the demos for the songs (there are a few of them out there, and he has an insane voice and can go REALLY high) and for vocal distribution, what Dreamcatcher does is every member sings the whole song, and they give the parts to the members where it sounded better, that's why every part sounds so well.
The other behind-the-scenes important people are the usual choreographers: Sung Chan Kang (long time choreographer), Riye (She's one of the dancers, but might be her first time creating choreo for DC), Kim Keeyeoun and Hwang Sooyeon, these last 2 have been choreographers and the main dancers for Dreamcatcher since they started having additional dancers (Sooyeon usually has red hair, Keeyeoun usually blonde short hair) and you can see them in many Dreamcatcher MVs and choreos and they absolutely slay making (and dancing) some of the most creative choreographies in Kpop, credit where credit is due, without these folks, and many more wonderful people, Dreamcatcher wouldn't be what they are
