- Jiu: Taurus, Loves to eat, leader, cute, insomnia fan, parent of the group, has a puppy named Cherry. Her animal representative is a bunny
- Sua: Leo, dolphin laugh, loud, butt hunter, clingy, parent of the group. Her animal representative is a bird
- Siyeon: Libra, Loves to flirt with everyone and everything, 3 tattoos, Weird af, her stans are called wifeys and she is the husband. Her animal representative is a Wolf or an alien.
- Handong: Aries, chinese, savage, expensive look, doesnt have a filter, funniest member. Her animal representative is a cat.
- Yoohyeon: Capricorn, tallest member, 2 tattoos, has a puppy named Pie, loves to bark, clumsy af. Her animal representative is a dog
- Dami: Pisces, Most normal member, 2 tattoos, adorable and shy, a prince, hates pinapple bc of a trauma, loves people's hair. Her animal representative is a panda

It's pretty mandatory to watch all versions of "This is..." starting from 2020. You miss out on a lot of their different personalities otherwise. 2023 isn't meant to be an "updated" version, but an add-on. If you love them already, just wait til you see the full series 😊

@@alexatakesalook Yes, please do! There are eight videos for the 2020 season of 'This Is_'. The last one is the group all together. The rest of the seasons only have seven videos.
the most interesting thing.. when we talk about pretty/beautiful, dreamcatcher literally having 7 different types of beauty.. among 7 of them, I can say Handong's beauty is expensive-look type. for these 4, SuA is sexy-look type, JiU is fresh-look type, and Siyeon is sassy-look type
7 is already big enough to have variety. having all different is hilarious
I didn't even think of it that way, but it makes sense on why they feel so all encompassing!
Handong's family name is Han and her personal name is Dong. The other six women are divided into three Kims (JiU: Kim Minji, SuA: Kim Bora and Kim Yoohyeon) and three Lees (Lee Siyeon, Dami: Lee Yubin, and Lee Gahyeon), and so they fight over who gets to claim Dongie as a Kim or a Lee. As a non-native Korean speaker, Dongie has troubles distinguishing between the ㄷsound and the ㄸ sound (I know I can't), and that's a bit unfortunate since her name is 동 but 똥 means "poop".

Alot of Insomnia consider Ateez and Dreamcatcher to be cousins because they have the same producers for most of all their songs. They tend to have similar feeling visuals and both have great stage presence.

@@alexatakesalook Actually, no. If they were, Dreamcatcher would be their big sister group, but since they're not that's why we call them cousins. Ateez is with KQ Entertainment and Dreamcatcher is with Dreamcatcher Company.
@@SannaKore And DCC is a Sub-label of Happyface Entertainment, I think...they are linked in some way, anyway. The girls did SO well that after the Nightmare Series was done, the company made DCC.

Yup, JiU is the Charismatic Rabbit. In both clips when you asked about the Silver hair, that was Siyeon both times but in completely different eras.

@@alexatakesalook Ah. Well, Siyeon is not the only one to have had Silver hair. In fact, Yoohyeon did it for two comebacks in a row. And there is at least one other idol I know of just off the top of my head that had Silver hair for a certain song (but she's in a different group altogether). I am sure there have been others and likely will be more in the future. You are going to run into your kryptonite a few times, here. I really feel for you. :)

Member names are pretty easy if you remember SI is pronounced "she" and all the vowels are ee, oo, or ah (except Dong). JiU jee-yoo, SuA soo-ah, Siyeon she-yawn, Handong hahn-dong, Dami dah-mee, say an H in front of yawn like "hyawn" for Yoohyeon yoo-hyawn and Gahyeon gah-hyawn.
About the silver haired member in This is JiU... remember when I said most of the times you ask "who is THAT!?" it's going to be Siyeon? It was Siyeon. 😂
EDIT: And silver haired queen during This is SuA... also Siyeon. I can't wait til this video gets to This is Siyeon.

@@alexatakesalook The D in Dreamcatcher stands for duality, they all have something. Siyeon is by far the Cool One but also the Funny One, that's her duality. Immensely loyal, and she never does anything the regular way but it's always better. She is center at the end of Vision, messed up the choreography on live national TV at a music show, but everyone liked that way better.
JiU is sexy sunshine, her face can be SO BRIGHT, especially watching her members doing something amazing, and then she can instantly flip a switch at will and burn you to ash. Doesn't do it often but you'll get there. Dami is a ferocious animal attack (her words) for work but is actually the cutest member in regular life.
Hongjoong and Yunho host Idol Radio at the moment, and this episode Dreamcatcher were promoting Bon Voyage....and it was hilarious
I'll have to watch it since I'm getting into both groups right now!
Handong's animal is a Cat and not a Tiger, and yes, she has a Cat named Nannan.

JiU won a poll for most beautiful face in kpop 2 years in a row, one year beating out Jisoo of Blackpink by a large margin. Just goes to show her beauty transcends kpop favoritism.
She is otherworldly!!
Right. No arguing with JiU's gorgeous looks. But since Dreamcatcher is so under-rated in Korea, it really surprised me when JiU's name was on that list at all, let alone topping it! And it was a different list from a totally different company the second time it happened!
Beating BLACKPINK Jisoo in those comparisons is really nothing to sneeze at because Jisoo is also known as an other-worldly GORGEOUS BEAUTY (just one of the reasons she is the Global Ambassador for Dior). Her looks have been known to render people speechless when they meet her, so JiU winning top spot over her...WOW.
That was so cool when I heard about JiU being voted Number One. And of course, JiU being JiU, she was really humble about it. She was very flattered and she blushed a lot over it. She's not a Diva at all, she's really down-to-earth, which just makes it even more cool. She DESERVES all the good things because she is not a jerk, she's not vain, she's not stuck-up. I love that about the entire group. With JiU as leader, I think they turned out better from her influence than they might otherwise have turned out. :)
