- An inspiring story of Aki Rose of Hololive's 1st generation and how her international fanbase helped her grow when she was struggling.
Correction:
Her hiatus seems to have been unrelated to the car accident. Unfortunately all of her vods from this era have been deleted so I was just going off of hearsay.

That singing stream was a legendary moment and gave birth to Aki-pella as she accidentally sang a song without the music and it blew everyone away. One of my favourite moments involving Aki.
I watched that live and still remember it like yesterday, it was beautiful and very fun when that happened

Woah a legend here
@@angelredvivar No, the real legends were those who were Aki's loyal fans before the clippers translated Aki's heartfelt stream talking about her situation.
Without them, I wouldn't have been aware of Aki. After that, Aki became one of my favorites, and I watched many of her Ark streams and singing streams especially.
I was there, right after birdkun21 clipped her thoughts. It was puremagic :)
I think my favorite is when she mistook "encore" as "ENKA", and gave us an incredible performance of a Japanese classic no one was expecting her to cover.
"I won't lose to anyone when it comes to loving you."
That was the line that got me. I know its not all about the subs but I wish she could break 1m.
Where she at rn?
About 735k
at this pace, she will gets to 1M if she has a few more big project/content. i rarely see her in horror or fps game collab which understandable why she is on the slow side in growth
Not knowing English is a major knee cap.
is there a clip? when did she say this?
Aki is a rare case of simping done right. Instead of blindly simping someone like usual, the community came together and made someone feel their worth.
Gibberish. You don't have to call enjoying things "simping" just to parrot a catchphrase you read online years ago
@@MegaZetathere's people out there who are total simps especially towards TH-camrs and other celebrities. It gets annoying so I just mess with them time to time
@@MegaZetatbh, parasocial is sadly a thing. I say simping is form of parasocial, but simply enjoying thing or wishing someone the best is not.
Its actually crazy how dedicated Aki is. Did you know she created an entire Elven language just for her lore?
Yeah we do
Wait that’s crazy i never knew that wtf
Her original song is in her language too!
Is she Tolkien reincarnated?
I forgot which Japanese singer it is, but there's someone who made entire elven/foreign language and uses it to sing songs.
She sung the song for Zone of Enders (it was used to simulate Martian language) and I think she's sung the intro for code geass (maybe).
Side-tangent aside,
it takes alot of creativity to do that.
It's good to hear something wholesome about vtubers. Instead of drama all the time thank you
This is one of my favourite stories about vtubers!
Look up the clip of Ironmouse doing a donation drive to get a proper workspace set up to accommodate her disability...
AKA: how to annihilate a year-long donation goal in 7 minutes (before she could even finish explaining it) and make a girl burst into happy tears.
@@Arclite02 ok
u only see drama if u look for drama. stop watching em and put those ytbers on "Don't recommend channel". I've known no drama for a whole year now.
drama is not necessarily something negative you know?
Aki openly said in her holotalk with Kiara that this moment is the reason she is still around and didn't quit. The gain of subs she had during these early days was rivaling the highest gains Gura would ever get once vtubers took off way more which is insane to think about
she actually gain 100k+ in a month from that moment,,,
@@jon-unicorn-doxxer I think it was something like 200k cause i rmemeber her going from 200k all the way up to 440k, though i might be mixing up what time that happened over, it was such a great uplifting and i'm so glad it happened for her~
@@ninjablade2 that einnashu viral clip is published in 1st week of august 2020 and celebrated her 200k milestone days after that, Its was already at 220k when she did that Aki-pella..

Aki is so underrated, her lives concert are by far the best of hololive
Aside from obvious suisei, her and kanata indeed are best concerts to watch
@@Keithlynd_ Agree! But I'd add Mel to the list too, as both Aki and Mel never fail to add a little bit of extra magic to all of their live concerts.
@@Keithlynd_ Suisei is obvious from her impressive vocals, but from a total performance point of view, I personally find that Aki's and Mel's lives are my favorites to watch.
no
I don't even watch that much of the actual "idol" side of stuff, but dang that Wonderland musical she did was impressive.
I still remember a clip where she was talking about a clip of her having more views than her actual stream. I'm glad that she gained her success. Also sincerely, thank you clippers. You all are half the reason why the vtubers culture became this big.
It's because their streams aren't subtitled, so English people who don't know what they're saying can actually watch the cute girl AND undersrand her
@@Mashamazzi won't lie that's why I never watched tje jp members outside of clips I have no idea what there saying which sucks cause I like subra miko and some others clips

Same. I absolutely love Aki & Suiseu especially... But my Japanese isn't good enough to be able to watch them properly & understand what's going on...
Aki was the first vtuber i ever subscribed to and it was precisely during her 200k subs singing stream. I still watch her to this day. Good memories…
Woah a historian
Aaaah yes. In a way, were brothers. Already on a 2 yr sub on her channel.
Same
Likewise; though i was introduced through Koe's vid on her (over two years)
Saving those hips and thighs is the biggest success of hololive fans ever.
She even responded to the hip man after he reacted to her belly dance video.
@Lucas Inazumai well obviously. That man is a man of pure culture and dedication to the HIP
"Hips dont Lie" -Shakira
especially when her thighs is capable of producing random objects or materials.
sad the hololive anime eps featuring this aki's power has got removed.
I still will always be biased towards Coco for the raunchiness and pure body control she had, particularly with her hips and legs, but I can’t NOT give Aki her props. She’s got a different style of hip movement, but every bit as much discipline and command of them as Kaichou had.
She felt like a I know but underratted member of the group now it’s a good thing the over seas fans made sure she had a chance
It was one of the best moments in Hololive history, I remember been there live after watching the clip you mention, she was so surprised of how many people were watching, I couldn't understand a thing she was saying, but you could hear/feel how happy and thankful she was at the moment.
For me Aki got so much talent to show and her sense of humor is just my take, cannot wait to see the day she reach the 1 million count.
Language is just a barrier bro, but nobody say we cant break the barrier😊
I will be there when that million subs finally happens. It is so lovely to see people come together all across the world to give support to these fine people that really give us a little portion of their lives. The streamers could be doing other things but they are there for us to give us a good time and I want to give back to them. They work hard and deserve it like Aki~ ❤
Aki and Choco are probably the two I consider to be the unsung heroes of Hololive. Both are immensely talented and I don't think anyone ever has anything bad to say about them. They just don't seem to have the same traction as other members and while that's not necessarily bad, it is still a shame since they both bring so much to the table. I'm glad Aki is growing a lot more and I'm not too sure anymore on Choco, but I hope both of them are enjoying the fanbases they cultivated because you may be hard pressed to find any more dedicated.
chocosen is good today, she might be the next in line for 1M subs and her live views is decent (3k - 9k) and sometimes she could reach up to 10K's live views. her cooking stream with lui is my fave
I followed Choco years ago because she was a very pretty Japanese girl, like Lenfried but very skinny, like under 100lbs., then later with Hololive I was like wait she seems familiar...
Every JP Gen has 1-2 members who don’t get enough clips, and Aki and Choco definitely fit the bill. They’re super underrated!
I would add Roboco and many HoloID members as well..
I can't count how many times i laughed so hard watching Roboco and her ponkotsu-ness, and you can see how many HoloID members that actually really talented (Like Risu for example with her singing ability, Anya with her insane language capability and her sharp mouth, Ollie with her energetic trait, or Kaela with her insane dedication when it comes to gaming).
Yet many of them are still struggling in term of views compared to other holomems..
@@jakeplaysyt8000 Here how i see it (just my opinion):
Gen 0 - Roboco
Gen 1 - Mel and Aki
Gen 2 - Choco
Gen 3 - None (all of them are insanely popular, even Flare always on top when it comes to receiving super chats)
Gen 4 - Luna
Gen 5 - Also none (All of them already reached 1 mil sub and very consistent with views)
Gen 6 - Also none (Their viewerships are really insane compared to other gens even gen 3 at some point, maybe because their gen traits are unique that's why many got hooked easily)
When she cried of joy gaining new followers making me soft for her.
How can you be soft when she calls you a good/bad boy? 👀
@@Mashamazzi hey hey that's a secret haha
There are hololive talents that I don't even watch and I'm subscribed to. If you managed to fit into their incredibly difficult world, you deserve all the praise I can give.
i think that's not good for the channel overall tho, if a channel has a lot of subscribers but not active viewers, the analytics might see it negatively, so if you're gonna subscribe, make sure it's something that you actually wanna watch
@@f.b.l.9813 a subscribe is better than nothing. I can't really free up enough time to watch all of them

2020 is a good year... I remember I am sharing that einnashu clip with other potential fans to promote her...she gains like 100k+ subs in just 1 month(Aug-sept 2020) thanks to that clip and the reddit guys...

It was that clip that made me feel for her situation and give her a subscription. However I had become a fan of hers ever since then because of how bubbly and cheerful she is.
as well as those amazing hip movements.
Fun fact, Aki was my introduction to Hololive. I found her because of a random post on a forum I occasionally would visit at the time. The post was about a user lamenting their favorite streamer getting into a car accident. I found the few clips of her I could find and immediately vibed with her. Been a sub and member since.
When her explosion happened, it was brilliant.
Great video, hope you cover more Hololive history.
Thanks Pippa! There's definitely more I'm working on.
Omg its da real Pippa from Pippakistan, please liberate my country from capitalism!
Didn't know any of this, thanks for sharing. Aki seems like such a sweetheart so I'm glad people show her support too. I'll definitely watch her birthday live when it happens since it had to be postponed. I'm think one of the great things of holo opening up more to overseas, is that this range of extra potential fans can be reached and not just in Japan. Only sad thing is that there are never enough hours in a week to support them all, so i say thanks to all fans that stick with their less popular oshis. Cuz these talents all deserve love.
Einnashu's clip really helped her a lot. i was very new on watching Hololive at that time but i remember Einnashu is also doing live translations for Aki-chan..
.
and fun fact, it's not just Aki-chan that was saved by Kaigainikis. Towa-sama was also a receiver of the Kaigainiki help. after several incidents that happened to her that i vaguely remember now, Towa-sama lost the majority of her JP fanbase whilst the Kaigainiki viewers barely changed and just accepted what happened and moved on.she cried on stream apologizing until she notices that about 80-90% of the live chats were english that supported her and telling her to cheer up. she immediately wanted to try and communicate with the Kaigainikis which led to her cutely pronouncing english words and also led to her having several english learning streams and asking the Kaigainikis if they can help her learn thus leading to a wave of clips of her progress getting better and better at pronunciations ❤.
It was early on Towa's career. A male voice was apparently heard during her stream, which led to an assumption that Towa lived with a man. With a belief that a female idol should never interact with any male to keep their "purity," many were angered (kinda like Rushia situation). However, since such belief is not really widespread amongst overseas viewer, they don't care about it and keep watching her.
Towa herself went to a hiatus for a couple of weeks and when she returned, apparently, she got more views from overseas than Japan. I think she is still one of JP members who got more overseas viewers compared to others.
Yeah the JP side can get a bit weird with idol purity and such where the western side don't care.
I think with towa on this the west have the oposite exstreme at times our obsessives like to obsess over the family and romantic lives of celeberties and almost enjoy too much the idia pf celeberties havibg relationships and growing families whoch is wjy shipping gets so extreme in the weat
Fitting enough Aki and Towa are pretty good friends (even back then, it's said that in a way, Aki was G4's mama)
Aki has great charm, superb dance skills, and a cheerful and sometimes wicked sense of humor. She was always deserving of this success
But I'm glad overseas fans did their part in boosting her. I am one!
Aki is such an angel even now she deserves more love. Brilliant dancer, amazing singing voice, so strong and dedicated. Makes me really happy to know that so many banded together to help her. I hate seeing these girls in tears cause they don’t deserve the sadness.
Stories like Suisei, Miko, Mel and Aki's and anyone else who's gone through hardships early in their career, who no doubt had thoughts of giving up or even were already at the edge of falling but held on just that tiny little bit more; eventually finding their wings and soar to success just fill me with hope. I always feel inspired listening to stories like these.
Feb 2024 edit: Yozora Mel is just the most tragic character with what she's gone through, girl finally caught a break but her misfortunes keep chasing her.
This is what sparked a meme about Yagoo having a savior complex, and creating a Vtuber agency just so he could act upon it.
I might sound a bit bias by it but I think towa had a very rough start. Not compared to aki or miko but it definitely made it feel like nobody cared but overseas fans helped out. If I'm wrong in this please correct me I'm just throwing another in out there that had it a very rough start
What's many people didn't exactly know is that Miko was the worst.
People keep talking about Suisei had her hard times, yeah sure she did. But at least she still got 1k views on those times. Aki also still got 2-3k views. But did you know how many Miko got?
She had barely less than 100 views on her stream. Her video uploads (which were main contents for Vtubers by that era, streaming wasn't the main thing yet back then) usually got around 3k at max, which was bad for a full fledged 3D Vtubers by that time. AyaMina duo even graduated due to keep getting them numbers.
I never forgotten Miko's few first gaming streams where she literally got less than 50 live viewers. Chats barely popping up once every few minutes, I even remember counting it was around 15+ minutes gap between chats. My Japanese was still bad by that time and I was still shy too, I felt bad for not adding more chats. She has been funny and all ever since debut, but barely any people noticing her. Those sad days when barely a mere laughing chat coming up, if you compare to how she is right now you won't believe she had these back then.
I wish someone cover up Miko's story, but it's hard to get her past archives as they're mostly deleted. Miko's story is just a whole amazing one, from someone who was not on the verge of failing but was already failing and just waiting for her to raise the white flag, into someone who literally getting 35k views casually even if it's a mere freetalk stream. On Miko's case it wasn't her who cried, it were us her OG fans who cried desperately hoping for her to not give up and wishing for her to get noticed by more people.
Her story is such a journey.
What hardships did Mel go through?
@@adriannaranjo4397 Probably similar to a lot of the others doing asmr content, youtube was cracking down on all asmr at the time, as well she is known as the "Ban-pire" for a reason, her channel was banned several times near the start i believe and periodically afterwards
I don't know the finer details but i can imagine just that alone would be quite the hardship
that moment when she cried because she hits 200K is what made her my oshi
besides the hiatus at the worst time, which was during the boom of hololive, youtube did her dirty
all of her ASMR streams are purged because youtube kun is a cherry boy
this was the era when some of the holomem have alt channels called "sub channel" (from the word sabu aka/sub account) and upload yabe contents there to avoid the yellow dollar sign

I remember when this happened, this was also when I started watching. I wasn't able to catch a lot of streams but I did put them on when I could. Aki wasn't the only one who seem to get one bad break after another, a few members had a rough go at it.
The real mvp of this story is definitely Einnashu. That madlad got so many overseas viewers to take a peek at her channel. I was one of them 👌 that singing stream was legendary aki-pella!
I was lucky enough to be watching Hololive when this situation happened. I was so happy when people started noticing and being kind to Aki. She blessed many a viewer with her special, "Good Boy." line, and in her 200K celebration, we got the wonder that is 'Akipella' look it up.
Awww this is so wholesome. Kaigai nikki always coming in clutch! First Towa-sama and her "controversy", and now this.
Thank you Kaigai nikki! AkiRose deserved all the love, she's such a sweet girl
I remember the clip where she talked about feeling like she wasn’t not doing enough. It was such a beautiful thing. Aki is such a sweet girl and she’s more than deserving of her spot in hololive.
In the past week, her VCR Ark streams have been consistently averaging 30k+ concurrent viewers and have gained at least 13k+ new subscribers
So proud of her
I just want to say I cannot stress how important bringing light on these good parts of the fandom can be to everybody, especially in today's world. Thank you so much for this (almost 3 minute) clip. Aki is great and I am so happy the fans had her back when she needed it the most.
Appreciate it man
I've always thought of her as an interesting Vtuber, I like her design and voice a lot.
When I saw that translated clip it shocked me to see that at one point she has the lowest subcount, and her feelings on the matter were quite clear.
I think it was actually that translated clip that finally pushed me to start learning Japanese so I can one day show her and others my appreciation in a form they can understand.
Admittedly I still have a long way to go but since then I've been watching her or sometimes even put up her live as bgm. She deserved every bit of success and I find it really touching that foreign bros helped bring back that beautiful smile on her face!
I was there at the time. Not an active watcher of streams but Aki became my number 1 of hololive after watching that clip of her. I still clearly remember how excited everyone was for every new sub milestone, how we sat in the free chat and how we celebrated at reaching 300k. I am a little sad that I couldn't support her more but I hope she is doing well. She deserves it.
Edit: Also the reason for all of this is that when I watched that clip of hers talking about her feelings I could feel a deep connection to that person because in some sense everyone goes through something like that and feels that way. That feeling of kinship can never be broken for me.
I personally follow Aki for a long time. As one of the many JP fan, I have kind of emotional feel whenever Aki Live.
It's not that the newer gen's not good but I watch the OG gen on daily basis. and Aki's one of my favorites and my most treasure one.
*Her karaoke stream is priceless*
Really cool to see a JP bro in the comments writing in english. I wish I understood japanese then I would watch Aki way more.
Even as a member of the western audience, it's always so odd hearing how much we affect the company
I know right? From saving Aki for being down ridden with low sub counts, to Towa being harassed from antis/unicorns when they heard a guys voice in the background, to Coco being the pioneer for the rise of western vtubers and cross pollination thanks to her meme reviews.
To be fair, a very large amount of TH-cam’s overall userbase is western. I’m not super surprised lmao

Yeah I remember the clip by einnashu getting quite some traction and I subscribed and watched a few of her streams after that.
She is quite the bubbly persona and always open for fun and fanservicy things. Also if you are into the music side, she is also one of the best Vtubers to watch, quite the total package I you ask me.
Its always cool to see the community coming together to do something good. Einnashu will forever be a legend for this, sadly it seems like he retired from clipping 2 years ago.
thanks to the clips and Reddit, I remember everyone trying to spread the word about Aki, and man was it wholesome to see the community pull through. Just glad to see her stick around because of everyone coming to support her.
I actually got into Hololive around the time this happened, and tbh, stuff like this is why the Hololive fan community is one I can't bring myself to dislike despite hating almost every other fandom. For them to put their efforts into cheering her up like that is so touching, and this was one of the first things I ever saw them do. People can be awesome sometimes, man.
That stream was the one that convinced me to start subscribing to vtubers. Sure, i watched their content but I just wasnt in the habit of pressing that button. Aki’s heartfelt plea helped me realized its such a small thing and it helps them out a lot.
I remember this, I was there when all of this was happening. So glad that everything went well she's so underrated
I was there when it all happened. Such a legendary moment, stream and wholesome
einnashu you beautiful bastard wherever you are I hope you are doing well
Love how the Hololive community can come together and support the talents.
I remember this so clearly. First time I saw just how powerful the fans are
Proud Rosetai since the 200k surprise. And we're still here lurking on her streams.
Only thing you missed is Koefficient's stream where he found out Aki did belly dancing. That also brought her lots of fans. For wholesome reasons, of course
That was what introduced me to Aki, but it was after that big explosion but it was thanks to Einnasshu as well.
Aki is underrated and deserves more love.
Aki is one of a kind. I hope she breaks 1m this year. She's one of the most comfy Holomems.
This is why I can't stay on just one "Oshi" because all members of Hololive deserve to be recognized and loved... I can proudly say that I equally love all Hologirls from Gen0 to HoloX, Myth to Council and ID Gen 1 to 3.... In general, my "Oshi" is Hololive itself and they all deserve the love
After a few years of bouncing around every 4 or so months watching a few new members at a time, I really don't know how anyone can have an oshi. They're all nice and good in their own way. Even making a tier list on would be difficult, just having three ranks of A, S, and S+.
Thats just Hako-oshi (hako means a box)
So u simply love all the talents as a whole ww
This is similar to kiara as originally I judged her based on the model and didn’t watch her streams cause of the time zone. After she moved home she streamed in the middle of the day so I caught them when bored at work. Her realness won me over pretty hard when she talked about herself and how she felt about being “the least successful” myth member. Idk how to articulate it, and while the wall between streamer and viewer should be firmly established, I think these two girls help show that it’s nice to see that they aren’t just characters but real people with insecurities like anybody else. Be kind to each other
It was insane to hear her say that she was the least successful in a way that made her seem less important
Shes very talented, speaks three languages and can even help English people and Japanese speak together as a translator, which clearly isn't as easy of a skill as I thought it would be (I can only remember her and I think Ollie being able to do it so well and they both speak three languages)
Speaking of Ollie, it was a little sad to see that she didn't think she deserved her million milestone
@@Mashamazzi Ollie has definitely got some imposter syndrome, but i think she's doing her best to get past it; When you see yourself passing other idols you looked up to i'm sure it's hard to not go "why am I getting all this love and not them?" "They clearly have more talent and appeal than I do" etc, etc
Ollie has always been a fan first, so from that perspective I'm sure the mind goblins can cause a lot of problems for her mental and accepting she is and deserves to be one of the most popular members of hololive~
@@Mashamazzi Kiara's pity party actually turned me off of her because she was whining about her success when she was well over 700k, while people like Aki and Choco who were still below 500k. @@SaveMeXenu Matter of time and perspective, as she shared a gen with Gura, but that being said she could have handled it better. But I feel Aki being on Holotalk was a good thing as if anyone could relate to what it feels like to be tail end of a very successful gen, it's Aki.

I remember when she forgot ahe didn't play the instrumental when doing karaoke and everyone typing "akipella" in the live chat
That's lovely considering she is the second holomember who i like, it's kinda sad back then when she didn't get the attention
And i also feeling how she feel at that moment, fallin so behind
I hope she doing well today since i rarely watch any of holomember stream rn
She sounded amazing without instrumental
This is such wholesome news omg ❤❤
I was a part of this moment and it was amazing. This is my #1 favorite moment in hololive that I watched live. The birth of Aki-pella that night was just the icing on the cake.
I need more videos like this to restore my faith in humanity.
Dammit this is enough to make me cry and it rarely happend
This is why i really appreciate every single hololive member
The connection between them with their fan are really heart warming
I really glad this Fanbase mostly kinda and supportive that they wouldnt hesitate to help aki to reach her sub goal
I love aki especially during her 3d appearances since it show how much talent she has on dancing
Einnashu is a legend, and Aki is just amazing. As a member of the Rosetai, I genuinely love her successes and she beings joy to my days
Man I am so tired of drama, it genuinely feels good to see something wholesome.
I found out about her and the rest of Hololive because of the one Holo Graffiti episode where she was leaking poison from her thighs and it flooded the office.
As someone with zero context and no subtitles on at the time, I was determined to find out what the heck I just watched and became a fan of her and the others.
Aki-centered episodes are some of the most hilarious ones in hologra
I remember leaving a comment on one of her streams and she gave it a heart reaction. I thought it was cool of her to be interacting with her fans like that. Then I went to the stream I had commented on and saw she had hearted almost every single comment. Now I know why. Such a touching story
I'm really glad for her. From outsider pov. She has a really sweet community on her side, you guys are mad lads
I stumbled upon Einnashu's video when YT suggested it to me after watching a video of a random jp vtuber girl crying because she had to quit. I watched that video, made me cry a little, I subbed to her, I started to watch her streams, and I've been a proud official Rosetai for 2yrs, 4mos and 22 days already. Her voice in her streams cured me so much after coming back from work, specially if you work in a loud hot place, like a kitchen. It's like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert. And her singing streams... oh boy, in the top 3 of Hololive, easily. And ofc... her hips. ❤❤🍎🍎
The first Hololive stream I watched, love to see more Aki love!
when i saw her playing vampire survivors i just had to click, her playing that showed the other members they can play it too and now we have holocure.
you have skills aki, thanks for taking a risk playing VS and making me a new fan!
And she's proving to be good at HoloCure despite not getting a hang of aiming (good thing game Aki doesn't need aim)
I actually like that Aki had a consistent charming character throughout her whole career whereas a lot of Vtubers resort to acting crazier and crazier to get clicks, clips and go viral, not knocking on crazy Vtubers since Pekora is my top favorite but I love that Aki remained true to her character despite all of this. (well, relative to most big Vtubers, she's pretty sane and chill)
I feel Pekora's been consistent, Haachama on the other hand.... these days she's sort of relearning the basics
Aki in my opinion has one of the best voice in Hololive, I drop in every now and then in her streams, specially during singing streams where she sings old city pop songs, really one of the underrated vtubers, wish she would reach 1m subs this year
no one can do the 80s citypop classics bar atmosphere like Akirose can
1:16 einnashu really was a very big factor during that time, constantly clipping her. But alas, he disappeared.. Still hoping to this we get constant Aki clips.. Very underrated, despite her skillset in singing, dancing, charm, among other things..
Man, its such an amazing story how Aki rose over the years, she has pure talent both singing and dancing. She deserves all of her accomplishments since she's that wholesome Vtuber that will give her all to her fans and strive for more whatever the number of viewers and subs and that's the thing I liked her for.
i remember her replying and hearting one of my comments and i felt so much love and respect for her afterwards, she deserves 1m subs honestly
I don't watch much holo anymore but at the time i was exclusively watching holo i watched a lot of Akis streams. Back when she was still playing Ark on Aberration map with the other members, i randomly found her channel. Instantly fell for her streams and tuned in whenever i could. Still tune in from time to time to see how she is doing now. It makes me glad she got the attention she deserved ! :)
I remember when this was happening a few years ago. So glad shes still around and doing well
That's so wholesome. Glad this ever occured, subbed immediately after 0:50
einnashu, the man, the myth, the legend. I sub Aki after the clip video come out of nowhere on my youtube home, i'm so glad that i find it and happy to become a little part of the overseas bros raid on Aki's livestream too.
Another very lucky Rosetai here, who was blessed by Einnashu and his tear-jerking clip. Over 2 and a half years later, and I'm still so grateful that I found that clip and my Oshi 🍎❤
So thank you too for putting another spotlight on our dearest Half-Elf! 🙏✨
You should made Towa story too. She also saved by overseas fans when male voice drama happened. She lost almost all her original japanese fans but then overseas fans flock into her stream to support her. Now she has one of highest percentage of English speaking fans in Hololive JP along with Aki
This is when i appreciate more idol culture in overseas, like most HoloID fans for example don't give a single f to any their oshi's real life activities (Like having bf etc) as long it's not affecting their vtuber activities, and i can see the same with HoloEN fans as well..
Japan is way more sensitive about it to the point it's kinda worrying, i remember an idol back then had to shave her head bald and apologized publicly after she was revealed to have boyfriend, it's quite disturbing..
a lot of Western fans have this really demented savior complex. it makes the Hololive discussion boards on major sites unreadable
日本のファンの中にもそういうの気にしない人も多いけど、そういうの気にする人たちの声がでかいからね
There are many japanese fans who don’t really care about those things including me, but those people who cares it have a load voice so they look like they are the majority aside the fact.
GOD BLESS YOU - EIN for bringing her to our attention
It's hard to change your personality when how people see you is that you are normal, not as crazy or unhinged as those in the norm and I respect her for not faking it. This is a nice content dude!
This right is what I love, seeing the community come together like this.
It brings immense happiness that Aki has grown so much now. I remember her constant ARK streams full of absolutely golden moments that were absolutely hilarious. Aki deserves all she has and more!
Aki is great, I wish her all the success she deserves
As happy as i am about the love they get it always hurts me to not see the same love for the Holostar members. Many of them can barely break the 200k and only those that have collabed with the female vtubers actually get any attention. Help the bois out! We gotta give the homies love too
It feels like a different time 😅 I wasn't doing great at the time, but seeing people flock to Akirose after seeing those clips was heartwarming.
Used to watch a lot of Aki around 2020-21 since she streamed around the time I would do uni work. I remember her streams always being chill and very welcoming with her having a lot of interactions w/ chat. Haven’t seen much of her within the last year or so but it’s nice to see how much her fan base has grown
Perseverance like hers is a rare thing
I was there for her before her momentum. I always loved her voice and laugh which made me subscribed to her. Gonna be there when she hits 1mil
That's cool, always a win when people band together to help out a person.
I'm calling it. This video is the next resurrection for her channel. Hey TH-cam! Pick this one! Right over here! Come on!
Yessss!
Aki..... may her Journey in her career filled with success and happiness ^-^
I just came back to this video to watch something instead of all the drama we have right now
for me the most epic moments about aki is her alice in wonderland theme birthday, that was one of the best if not the best birthday concert ever everything about it is perfection, she is a genius for making it to be that good
P.S : for kaigai nikis who want to check out aki but cant understand english i recommend this clipper : Murasaki Ringo Hololive Clips & Compilations
I know her from Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. The Modder even put her on vending machine ads ingame.
She was recommended to me yesterday, I watched her stream a little for the first time, very cozy, I thought she has vibes like Noel. I didn't even know. Good to see she is ok.
Update.
Now Aki has reached the number of 800k subscribers.
I salute all translators. All of you helped bring all these wonderful girls where they are! o7
Let's get her to 1 million everyone! One of the most kindest and most appreciative souls in Hololive. Great vid my friend!
Yup back then it was tough for all of them even during the start of HoloEN where overseas fans became massive but still some of the JP senpais struggle to have high subs and viewers. Glad that everything worked out for all of them no one is getting left behind.
i hope she gets to 1 million soon
Yeah, i m really thankful for that clip.
Aki below 200k sub count at that time really break my heart. I even have some negative though about gen 5 at that time because their sub count is waaay higher, more than double, so i m not watching their debut or their stream for a while.
Cried a lot at the singing stream, everything went normal after that, thank you reddit and clippers
I'm glad I was there to see her growth. She deserves it and so much more. It's a shame that tenure doesn't always correlate with viewership.
