I think that the reason Doctor Strange let Thanos win is because he knew that he was going to destroy the gems and this way a future crisis will be avoided.
How they still have a time machine which means easy access to multiple sets of stones if you don't mind f****** over a timeline.
Not to mention the fact he could destroy the stones with the stones like that did also doesn't Doctor Strange kind of need one of those stones.
Destroying the stones also prevents someone like him from predicting what to do and saving half of the universe again.

Quill was almost on the brink of retiring from the Guardians Of The Galaxy gang because of a broken 😞 heart. But it was a good thing that Doctor Strange stepped in and used the Soul Stone to revive Gamora, since he could see that it did not seem fair to Quill for Thanos to take Gamora away from Quill and so that it did not have to end in a very sad way for Quill, like as if Doctor Strange was saying to Quill, “Wait, Quill. It doesn’t have to end that way. Bringing Gamora back can be taken care of”. As for Thor, he would have remembered that Thanos had previously told his children “The Black Order” to bring the two Infinity Stones (The Time Stone and Mind Stone) that were on Earth to him on Titan. Then that’s where he would have gone, and then Thor would have the revenge against Thanos that he wanted. Then who knows that Loki and Heimdall would have been brought back as well.

333 I don't think that would have made a big difference. Star Lord is an arrogant person, and does not have a lot of emotional restraint in comparison to the other characters fighting against Thanos. That's why I believe he still would've punched Thanos.

Isn't the time stone kinda useles when the reality stone is around? I swear Strange's character hinted that in the movie.
@@DrakosLord no they each govern separate things and have separate powers like the space stone allows to teleport anywhere, reality stone allows you to alter reality to your whim, time stone allows you to alter time to your whim,mind stone allows you to mess with people's minds, Power stone is just pure power, and the soul stone allows you to die once track people's souls and mess with people's souls as well as see into them they each govern on their own plane and never mess with each other. At least those were the rules in the comics who knows what the MCU's rules are.
Good point. Yeah, that's how I remember they work on comic books. Who know's how they're gonna use them in the last movie or if they create som sort of excuse or why Strange didn't use the time stone. I mean, I can have some ideas but they're arguably weak.

I imagine every scenario where Strange brings the Time stone into the fight leads to Thanos countering it and snatching it.Thanos doesn't need to defeat everyone on Titan. He just needs the stone and if Strange was blatantly showcasing it, that might convince Thanos to try harder and actually go for kills.
