    Thoroughly enjoyed this message so insightful and helped me to see my own blind spots. I do want to be seen. The Marianne Williamson quote at the end is one of my favorite quotes and I understand now more why I like it so much.

    It was so spot on what you said about a desire for being seen and a fear of being seen - as well as the reluctance of owning the 3-aspects. Often, I choose to say nothing because I have such a hard time keeping it brief and I hate the feeling of having blabbered out a lot which is really just significant to myself. I have this desire to "burst out my soul" in each and every situation, and perhaps I'm afraid that if I let go, I'll end of swallowing up or drowning everyone around me. Perhaps also because I have a lot of 8 in me (which I also try to repress but also recognize as a true strength (not just a power game). See, I'm already just kind of journaling a lot of private thoughts and feel that I'm not even half finished.
    But yeah - even just yesterday, I talked to a dear friend of mine about how I've been wanting to do a podcast or make You Tube videos where I share my insights and views about this and that because I have an idea that I will love doing it and also that I really have something to share which is worth listening to. But as soon as I say that, I feel like I'm boasting and begin questioning myself and then I easily end up concluding that I really have so little experience with real life - I'm way too "immature" to own up to my chronoligical age or I become afraid of gathering a following and not being able to keep my feet on the ground.
    And then, when you said that about giving space to the ramblings of a 9, I teared up and just wanted to be in a setting like that but then again felt that fear of "taking advantage" and overdoing it so I end up pushing everyone away or just stealing their space. And then, toward the end, I got that insight that I'm longing to be seen - but not by others but myself. I suppose that I see myself as a tiny pearl buried in a pile of trash and that this pile of trash is longing to be repurposed.

      Wow. This is so touching, Zenia. Thank you so much for sharing your heartfelt "ramblings"! They moved and inspired me (even as I have my morning coffee here at 530am!) Also, I think that the anger in NINES when given compassionate permission TOTALLY shows up as a force of nature to be reckoned with in service to our world! (It doesn't even have to go tap into eight to do that! Nines get sleepy in part because of pushing all that anger down rather than harnessing it)! Best wishes on all your endeavors!

      We live with a hypocrisy that is hard to look at, we want this but we do that, in fear; but in punishment that we know we are right, but don't want to hurt others so we hurt ourselves.

    It has taken a week from the discovery of my Enneagram 9w1 to feel ready to listen to this. Initially, I came across a Dr mansplaining All of my dysfunction. I felt I had done so much healing this past year...but I realized spiritual healing and transformation had to come first. Thank you for your gentleness and kindness. I am seeing everything with so much clarity. I needed this to come in a nurturing context. I truly appreciate your own light and inner beauty personally infused into this message.
    Much love🙏🏻💕

    This is beautiful, thank you for sharing. I am a 9w1 on the path to finding myself and being a light instead of hiding it under a bushel barrel as russ Hudson says. I love your passion in the way you speak.

    Ha ha, "ready, aim, squirrel!". I was just diagnosed with ADHD innatentive type. A way of pathologizing a type 9 perhaps??? Hoping Adderall will help me get in touch with and manifest my dreams-move into a 3.

    have you heard of this happening before

    • @evolvingenneagram
      @evolvingenneagram  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hello! I don't believe that people can CHANGE their types but I've found that spiritual awakening supports us in seeing ourselves and all of life more CLEARLY. Since I don't know you, I don't think it's fair to try to type you but I just wanted to share that sometimes 9s who go through deep grief can mistype initially as 4s but 9s can actually have a deep sense of despair (it's not just 4s) but a lot of books focus only on the 4s feeling sadness or melancholy or not belonging when others, including 9s, can have pretty intimate access to those as well. Hope this helps! - Nhien
