This piece is so beautiful and I just started playing (2 years). I can't wait until I'm "allowed" to even attempt this! I tried sight reading it for fun, and I was just like "ugh, gonna go back to learning my bach inventions"
@@tonmandude Well, I wont recommend playing Liszt "too early", as it's such complicated music. Not only because of the speed and lots of chromatic scales, but also because it's quite special compared to other composers. But soooo awesome ;)
I play the piano and I feel like I’m decent at it, I’m a very good listener and can almost immediately recreate the rhythm, but I don’t know how to read hahaha just my luck 🥴 if I knew how to read properly swear I’d be playing every classical piece I had time for. Good thing is, I’m still young so I still got time to learn

Now, a year later, I'm right!
Stolen comment..
@@zah_old_acc its not stolen anymore. Its now a normal comment. Because i see it everywhere on difficult pieces videos
@@alexandermanullang4504 Then copied comment, i guess.
@@zah_old_accIt does not matter though. Why are you upset about it?

You inspired me to learn this! I still can't believe you're self taught (this is one of my favourite recordings. Thank you!
Great! was actually looking for this
I think this is the version that I have listened to so far, in which I can listen the left hand loudest and clearest.
What amazing is that Valentina Lisitsa can do the C# note
What do you mean?
F# minor to F# major. Not one you see every day.
Actually, it's in C# Minor-F# minor-F# major(the whole Cat Concerto).
@@rayspianoworld7436 yes ik but this part of the vid starts in f# minor
@Franz Liszt Sir Franz, you are the best!
Wow! 😮 this inspired me to continue learning this piece after giving up on it around a year ago. Thank you!!
