This is honestly my favorite album ever. I gravitate back to it especially during the fall times. I often listen to the entire album through and just feel the experience.
Very refreshing to hear famous or professional musicians talk about not how but WHO showed them or “taught” them how to play. Very honest and respectable
You don't have to trigger warn people for liking Ted Nugent stuff...I'm so tired of people being afraid to accept that not everyone is gonna think and act the same. Ted didn't fuckin murder someone, you can disagree with his politics or personal life without mentioning it when talking about his music. If that offends someone, then they are the problem, not Ted.
I've never heard of this band, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that with a name like "Rivers of Nihil" that you probably can't understand a word of their songs. XD
well, in my opinion, you understand quite a lot of their lyrics. It's harder than with other death metal bands (like God Dethroned and Gojira). Just check them out! th-cam.com/video/DBoseBtsoWA/w-d-xo.html their newest album :)
@@PorscheJon it was about states rights as well, the Democrats didnt want to give up their slaves, just like they dont want to give up their illegal alien voters today.
Rivers of Nihil very underrated band
Very very very very
I had to pause this video to preview some songs but I like what I hear so far
All their music is good so I agree
Sadly, yes :(
Very under rated and also love to see and hear the humbleness of band members that truly love their craft
Where owls know my name is one of the best albums of the last decade
agreed, that and Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic - The Ocean are two of the most underrated and greatest albums I've ever heard.
Easily 🤘🏼
Owls, along with Meshuggahs latest 2 albums and Resolution by Lamb of God. Goooood metal
Ehh not really. It is pretty amazing though.
This is honestly my favorite album ever. I gravitate back to it especially during the fall times. I often listen to the entire album through and just feel the experience.
I actually played a show with these guys in Altoona, PA back in 2013!
I know this is old but dude, where in Altoona did they come? 4Ds would be the only place I could think of
Very refreshing to hear famous or professional musicians talk about not how but WHO showed them or “taught” them how to play. Very honest and respectable
Rivers of Nihil are siq, only found them at the start of lockdown, been jamming them all 11 weeks.
Where Owls know my name 10/10
Andy Jamieson I hope you are planning on buying the album Instead of streaming iT
@@callumrelph1400 Aye, got the tab book with all the songs in on its way too.
"Sell my Pokemon cards"
Ouch
"The hardest choices require the strongest wills"
I love hearing the bluesy rock licks in a djent tone
Where the Owls Know my Name is the best metal album of 2018
Enjoying just watching him play, love that he mentions Eddie one of my all time favorite music hero’s
His original stuff sounds great.
The moody, hypnotic things reminded me of the band Isis.
Im glad to see that dude from horrible bosses followed his dreams
Holy fuck!😂
Jason Sudeikis? 😁
Literally just watched Horrible Bosses yesterday so that hit hard
What an amazing band and guitarist
My favorite riff from RON: Subtle Change (1:45)
That’s an acid tapestry if I’ve ever seen one
It's a mandala
Rivers of Nihil are amazing. Love that band.
David Vargas I hope you wIll be buying the album instead of streaming it
Love the compositions you guys have came up with on that record. A fresh listen for the metal genre for sure.
Rivers of nihil, archspire
Blotted science, conquering dystopia. Meshuggah. Literally my life
Respect the Conjurer t shirt dude
I saw you guys live last time you were in Toronto and I was blown away. You are certainly correct that Silent Life really gets the crowd going haha!
The first album I actually paid money for in a long time! Where owls know my name. These guys are amazing
Regardless of how you feel about him personally, it’s hard to deny the Nuge’s shredworthyness!
Rivers of Nihil is great
My Dad used to play that same boogie song. Cool video!
Can you also do this, but for Greg Burgess in Allegaeon?
Haha brody always seems half disinterested in doing anything
Absolutely adore this band.
Love the Conjurer tee! ❤️
Awesome 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Hopefully we'll get some new music this year
Thank you so much Brother✊🦁
I know a few songs but never knew the bands name until a few years ago
Conjurer shirt 🤘🤘
He reminds me of some celebrity. Can't quite put the finger on it, though.
Like a mix of Giovanni Ribisi and Jason Sudeikis
Don Cheadle
@@arbyscurlyfries9490 Definitely him. How could I forget?
@@wolfzr2 No, but you mentioning Ribisi made me realize I might have meant Aaron Paul. More or less. Don't judge me.
Seth Morrison the guitarist of Skillet
I want to know what kind of guitar that is, it looks badass.
Kiesel
@@BratislavMetulski thanks, guess I'm buying one soon lol

He looks a lot like Seth Morrison the guitarist of Skillet especially when he looks down at the guitar
He reminds me of Jason Sudikas (spelling)
What kind of pedals is he using? Love the clean sound

Pretty sad you can’t say you like Ted Nugent without worrying about people freaking out.
Hloooh
Why do they have a rainbow profile picture?
Pride month

Unless you're used to anything related to death metal (this band is technical death metal), your statement might be true.
Listen to the music from all the Owls Know My Name, if you don't understand the lyrics i'm sure you'll love the music.
Actually, especially for the genre, the vocals are pretty understandable. I don’t I ever had to look up the lyrics for anything of theirs.
He looks like Brody from Homeland, minus the gingerness.
What is with these comments? 😂😂😂
Oh noze.....not
Brody looks like he struggles to play his own songs more than he does the covers
Sad that he can't even say he likes Nugent's riffs without vocally distancing himself from his political positions.
Why? Because you happen to agree with Ted Nugent's politics? Who cares dude. People are allowed to have differing opinions.
@@PorscheJon the point is, there's no need to bring up anything politics. It's virtue signaling.
Why does he feel the need to distance himself from Ted Nugent's political point of view.
Because it's based in an alternate reality. Like somehow the civil war wasn't about slavery.
Because some liberal supremacist might want to defame him. #imposedwill
