Take everything a Prosecutor, Investigator or an Officer says with a grain of salt. I just sat and listened to an Investigator LIE and cover up the fact that “ accusations were filed in retaliation “ against my son, because a judge gave him visitation rights to his children. He was paying child support, obeyed the TRO, and had insurance coverage on them. In retaliation, the mother of his ex, and her sister went and filed false charges. No investigation was done and they all left out very important testimony. My son got 21 years, reduced to 5. I hate the INjustice system. It is so corrupt. The investigator lied, and said that the complaint from his ex was not sent to her until June , but, what she didnt tell them was that the reason a complaint was filed was the very tuesday, after the thursday week before that my son got visitation awarded to him.

She probably has no intention of reaching out to the jurors. It will go through the appeals process ( the judge is allowing time for that ). She chose 8/9 for each side to argue their case regarding jurors verdicts or lack there of. Depending on who she sides with , be it defense or prosecution, the other side will appeal. Karen can’t be retried while an appeal is in progress. The judge chose a retry date in the future to allow for appeal process and for the attorneys to prepare for the new trial.

I have some different predictions. Between pretrial, the trial, the FBI investigation & evidence of the McAlberts’ culpability it’s become very clear that the CW’s goals for this case are completely different than any normal case.
One of the CW’s goals is to keep this going as long as possible so they can deflect suspicions of corruption. To do anything less than everything is to admit to the coverup/malicious prosecution.
A second goal is that, as Andrea Burkhart says, “the process is the punishment.” The CW knows Karen is innocent and they know they’ll never get a guilty verdict. But they (this one includes Bev) are looking for revenge against Karen bc she refused to play nice, accept a plea, & go quietly off into the sunset. They will drag every bit of this out to prolong her misery & run up her legal bills. The process is the punishment.
Lally won’t change his strategy one bit. HIS goal is to maximize confusion & obfuscation bc it’s the only way to avoid an NG verdict across the board.
    So:
    1. If Bev rules to dismiss charges 1&3, Lally will absolutely appeal.
    2. Lally will call every single prior witness and ask each every single irrelevant question again - the snow, the girls basketball, everyone’s drink orders, etc. (if Bev allows - note that she’s virtually never curbed Lally on any topic).
    3. Even if Bev dismisses 1&3, Lally won’t give up on the Aruba thing or anything else that goes to motive.

This is a load of bull. The Albert’s had nothing to do with this. You had more culpability. A 30 year a police veteran would NOT throw a body in his front yard. Stop with your crazy. And living in MA I've unfortunately seen A LOT of unjust BS!!! This is just SO bad tho.
I also 100% think Lally purposely dragged the trial out to drain Karens funds so she couldnt afford effective counsel & also to weed out jurors who seemed sympathetic to her. The jury had to leave their notebooks at court each day & I heard nothing re: them being locked up so no 1 could see what they were writing!!! What a mess

It's also quite OBV the judge who holds the power to throw the case out which she OBV shoulda done given the 40+ "missing" min.'s of sallyport video alone given the fact that woulda exposed exactly what all those compromised & recused cops did to & with Karens tail light!

23:52 i never had doubt that Baldwin had no "intention" of hurting anyone....however as you said Baldwin has been working with firearms for a very long time, his father was a shooting coach, he has been acting for what 40+ years and has worked with many armourers and weapons experts over those years so he definitely knows about gun safety, and I think that no matter what he should've checked the weapon.....however if LE struggled to tell the difference between the live rounds and blank and dummy rounds then Baldwin would probably not have been able to tell them apart. In all reality Hannah was the last line of safety and as the "expert" employed on set she was the one who should've been able to tell the rounds apart and removed and safely locked away any even slightly suspicious rounds so they could not have been loaded.....saying that though Baldwin also knows NOT to point the firearm towards anything he did not intend to shoot

Except that is literally the JOB of an ACTOR- to point prop guns at people & shoot prop guns at people... you have literally have film after film of actors legit holding guns to eachothers HEADS&PULLING the triggers because THAT IS WHAT ACTING IS. It is not valid or reasonable to judge an actions in a vacuum- beliefs& actions are not a blanket one size fits all- situations matter& DIFFERENT SITUATIONS call for different analyses given the context. Being an actor is NOT the same as some random guy at his home just beleiving or being told that a gun is unloaded &pointing it as his friend as there is simply no comparable situation which includes/makes it reasonable/makes it not wreckless for a regular citizen to be pointing guns at people AT ALL- that doesnt mean that actors should treat it as a prop without question, or not check it themselves, or that the industry shouldnt consider how to better safety standards, it simply means that acting involves a different set of reasonable actions &beliefs & its not going to work to simply transfer over regular intuitions& practices from a regular gunowner/user context. I have a serious problem with people using the kind of "you never point a gun at someone" rationale here- it doesnt apply to actors- actors point guns at people, its CALLED ACTING, its their job, they are literally playing a role on a film that involves doing this, & also involves a reasonable basis for thinking it is a safe prop.
For reference consider another job that involves clearly diff reasonable acts/beleifs- like a police officer- everyday we recognize that certain acts which would automatic be wreckless or crimes by citizens have to be judged differnt considering what is reasonable for police to do & beleive in context-im not talking about justifed instants of force here(technically if force was justifed by officers than it would usually, maybe not always in exact same ways every situation, but still usually also be justifed by citizens under self defense laws) i'm talking about equivalent acts & mistakes judged differntly given the reasonable beliefs of police... for ex: idk say police enter a home on basis of a 911 call/warrant/etc, but theyre actually at wrong address, so technically they have no legal justification to go into THAT SPECIFIC HOME, & say homeowner is hurt or dies bc they thought burglars were breaking in & grabbed a gun or w.e...well this happens every single day, police arent charged with breaking & entering nor murder nor manslaughter nor wreckless etc when they enter the wrong house & even cause deaths bc of this mistake(at best a civil lawsuit is made...as too happened with Baldwin), since police officers jobs entail going into homes & their belief at the time they enter this wrong address(say, they beleive its address of a violent deadly battery on DV call, or beleive theyre enacting a warrent on dangerous criminals with numerous guns/drugs etc) informs their behavior in the situation- obviously if police realize theyre at the wrong home & still shoot the homeowner who grabbed their gun than this would become questionable to outright criminal(if it could be proven they realized this) bc the homeowner is acting reasonably from their point of view, but the police are acting on the assumption that this person is a dangerous criminal or abuser & thus when they see the gun we accept that they shoot reasonably on the basis of their own beleifs at the time, & we accept that those beliefs WERE REASONABLE for them EVEN though we know its the wrong house. There is zero comparible situation where a citizen could enter someones home with a weapon, see the homeowner holding a weapon & be justifed to shoot them, there simply is no comparible context. There is no comparible context of actors who use prop guns& shoot them at other actors, there is no reasonable basis or belief of gun owners behaving in the same way as actors on a movie set who reasonably beleive the gun is a prop. There are different reasonable assumptions& actions in different contexts- and ACTING is a context where a belief in the gun being a prop is reasonable & the action of pointing the guns at people is not only reasonable/not a matter of wrecklessness by defintion but is LITERALLY their job.
Im a fairly big believer in genuine mistakes & so EVEN in a context of a regular citizen thinking a gun is unloaded I could still see being sympathetic to them in certain instants- but it is still always going to involve atleast some level of wrecklessness to causually be pointing & waving around a gun even if you think its not loaded- which just isnt remotley the same case for an actor on a movie set.

      @naomimcewan9744 หลายเดือนก่อน

@ar4203 yes acting is his job but as I said he is well versed in firearm safety, he wasn't meant to be pointing the weapon at someone at that time, and when he was supposed to be pointing at someone there are extra safety precautions taken.
I could understand someone playing the they didn't know card if they are new to acting and new to working with firearms but Baldwin himself claims to be an "expert" and as I said his father was a shooting coach AND having worked with many many armourers and varying weapons over his 40+ year career in acting he has been trained and reminded over and over. Like I said I don't think he ever had intention and I think he probably had a lapse in judgement and trusted Hannah. And as I have said Hannah really was the last line of defense in this case, SHE was the one majorly neglectful, SHE was the one who failed to remove and lock up any suspicious rounds or rounds she wasn't sure about, SHE told Baldwin it was "cold" and he trusted her and didn't act on his own extensive training.
Honestly I do think the mistrial was probably the best call in this case because I don't think the prosecution could prove his fault except for the fact he made a mistake in judgement that day.
The real fault lies with whoever took or placed those rounds on set, and then with Hannah who should've been vigilant in her job.
