- The preschoolers of Northtown Child Development Center (Jackson, MS) put on a show for their graduation by doing the Mississippi Cha Cha Slide. My little brother is the one in the front leading the others. Gooo Jeremy!!

Now THIS is a proper Pre-K celebration! Ohmagosh, 30 years of teaching where I NEVER saw such a fun and fabulous gathering. (Yeah, I’m an old white woman who taught in rural white bread schools. I loved every minute…but would have loved graduations, awards days and holiday programs like this!). Thanks for sharing the joy!

@@wynnssecret8882 It is not bad, just bland. In my rural area it’s largely a majority of bland, white bread… entirely and sadly too segregated by old mindsets and viewpoints. Set in old, stodgy ways and “traditions” of calm and reserve. Carefully waving the little flags at the Fourth of July parade is about as overtly ostentatious as one should get. I call that bland. Personally, I enjoy learning about and participating in traditions and celebrations of various cultures/races/religions in the surrounding area as well as the bland side o semi- exciting goings on of my own people of European descent. (My paternal grandfather came to America from Denmark at the age of 18, alone, to learn about assembly line production. From that, he built a successful business, but found no Danish community, even in a widely searched area, with which to form friendships and enjoy the feeling of home).

Sure do hope he maintained that wonderful attitude of always doing your best, not because someone is watching over your shoulder. But because that’s who he is. Always giving and doing his best no matter what the circumstances may be.
When that, “Hold it” hit for about 35 45 seconds close to the end, I was ready to get up & party. “And hold it! Ayyyye. And hold it! Ayyyye. The youth did their thing!
I watch this video every day. Sometimes several times a day. It makes me smile. They are so darn cute!!

That lead dancer really knew how to LEAD HIS GROUP ON THE DANCE FLOOR❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️He never missed a step or lost the rhythm one time and to be able to do that is remarkable in and of it’s self, but also with that crowd standing all around him… And my add, not SITTING RESPECTFULLY around him, But STANDING all up in his face towering over him and moving their feet to distract him but he didn’t let them distract him one bit!!…He just continued on with his job and danced just like his teachers wanted him to do. Imagine what he will do @ 15 and 25!!!!! TRULY REMARKABLE & TRULY AMAZING & TRULY UNREAL!!! I COMMEND THIS YOUNG MAN FOR EXCELLING BEYOND ALL THE PEOPLE AROUND HIM TRYING TO MAKE HIM FAIL!!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I was blessed with a group of kids at church. We did an intrence from the vestaview singing when the saints come marching in. They marched and sung to the choir stand. They loved it and the church exploded. God is god......
I’d love to see a vid on how these kids are doing today. Their community and school obviously instilled a lot of confidence in them at this young age. Not sure how this showed up in my feed but so glad that it did❤️💃🏾🕺🏽

these children have a video of not only achieving a higher grade, but what dancers they are. i love when a teacher has the ingenuity to inspire not only 1 child to do this dance most adults cant do, but a whole class!
