Salmon Fishing in Scotland - River Conon: Coul & the Gang

Salmon fishing action and some Spey casting instruction for the Flux family and their friends, fishing the Coul Fishings, River Conon in Scotland, during their weeks there in July 2015 and July 2016.
It has been a great privilege for us (and lots of fun), to help resident ghillies Ian Menzies and Danny Potter in bringing on the next generation of salmon anglers and teaching them Spey casting.

Nice video but almost all the fish were grilse. Is that river more known for grilse rather than larger salmon.

The Conon has both a good spring and summer run of MSW salmon, but all the clips here were filmed in July during the main grilse runs, though there are also some summer salmon caught. See our Conon playlist for some spring salmon catches.
