This was such a beautiful video. How precious Agie/Aggie knew he was "her mom". This man, may the gods bless him for not only feeding her, but taking care of her - making sure her needs were met, he spent his own time with her and most of all, he showed her unliumited love and devotion. And who on earth said men cannot make good mothers?

I love that this gentleman is kind and dedicated enough to raise the little bear. Having said that once the animal starts to get bigger he only gets one mistake with an animal that can eat him like a desert.

As far as I can tell: Born in a Swedish zoo in 95, then sold to Mark Dumas (the guy in the vid) to train and use in tv/movies/etc. , then they "retired" her to a Canadian zoo in 2022.

OMG I literally figured out to mix formula and heavy whipping cream together before they even said it because whipping cream can contain 36 to 40% fat. Sometimes I think a lot of this comes naturally to me because when I first moved out of my childhood home 20 years ago and began living on my own I would take every opportunity there was to help in the animal in need whether it be a squirrel hit by a car or a baby bunny lost in the yard or kittens that were starving trapped under a house that the mother had abandoned
It's weird I was thinking along those lines too. I thought I was being ridiculous...I was very surprised

I was watching hedgehogs and I like them but they're too small to hug. I'd want a polar bear for a while to raise it to be healthy for the wild because they'd be strong enough for hugs. ❤️ 🫂

The zoo in Berlin woult have known. His Name was Knut. He was born on the 5 of Dezember 2006. Died unfortunatly on the 19 of March 2011. So, there where people who knew about it

Polar bear cubs r indeed sooo cute!! BUT!!! they grow up and like has been mentioned earlier, their dna cannot be changed and they'll revert back ti their survival nature which may put u on their menu!! No problem raising them and protecting them till they can do it themselves...then I would let them go. They're just different ya know...predatory and meat eaters. Know what I'm saying? Wish I could say all the way and keep them in my house and around my children, but in my heart I couldn't be at ease so it would have to go..sorry! 😢❤ I know I'm not the only one who thinks like this!! I love the bears but the polar bear is like..oohhh weeee!!!😂😮😅😅. Might just eat my whole family!! Just saying dude!!😂😂😢😢😮😮😊

Absolutely NOT! Sure that little white ball of fur is cute now, but wait till she's 6 months old and weighs 400 lbs. I don't understand why some people are so naive to think they can domesticate certain wild animals. Then they wonder why, later on down the line, how they got their face bitten off by their "loyal" pet polar bear. They should either be in a zoo, or released back into the wild, once they've outgrown their caretakers. They're simply too dangerous. How may I ask, is Aggie doing now?

I'm sometimes torn about leaving Animals in the wild where they belong,knowing that their fate will most likely be death,or trying to rescue some and raise them with humans.
You can't change their DNA instincts,which would be a nature predator,
but I also don't want a world where these beautifull animals would be extinct forever😢

I always wonder thou that maybe many many yrs in our future,all these beautifull animals will forever be gone from our world and the only way some distant future generations will be able to know of their existence will be in a museum looking at fake replicas of them all.
I hope im long gone before that ever becomes reality😭
I guess we just got to live in the moment and enjoy animals and do what we can with them while the human race and animals are sticking around.

Be careful when they reach adulthood remember they are wild animals!!
People aren't lining up to raise a polar bear, so these awesome people did it without knowing much about them. would you rather see it starve in the arctic. Polar bears when they cant find enough food they either eat or abandon their weakest cub. So i personally would rather see a good hearted couple that rehab bears try to raise it then her mother eat her. People who live in the arctic absolutely hate polar bears and want them dead. They destroy everything, because their territory is shrinking. Worlds not perfect and with humans destroying everything get use to seeing alot of animals growing up this way.
Your way of thinking is funny. Why would they raise an animal they're ignorant about? This is something that people often do: take the pandemic puppies, now full grown. They prove that not everyone should own XYZ pet. So how is it that anyone should hold a polar bear cub? There are some hybrid polar and grizzley bears! They shall inherit the earth. Polar bear cubs are the most evolved form of mega fauna bear for the Arctic. And their climate is changed: time to hybridize for them!
I think that it would be cool to have a domesticated polar bear type of animal pet. Don't get me wrong
