“Coolest Thing Ever!” Acoustic guitar speaking... I concur! I played a festival about a month ago. We were the little local guys, first of 5 bands. The Grammy winning headliner’s audio and bass player were waiting for me when We finished kicking things off wanting to know what the heck kind of acoustic I had because it was the best they’d heard at a festival event!
The only thing for me to switch from the Venue Di to this is the boost button. I honestly feel like this makes it sound more natural which I think everyone that is a true acoustic player wants that sound.
If you don't have an I phone, can someone else do the voiceprint with their phone and then you go play a gig with just the DI or do you have to always have an I phone with you to run the DI?
Put simply, 2 things: 1) you develop your own IR sample of what your guitar sounds like using the mic in your phone. 2) you control the advanced settings (EQ, feedback control, etc) from your phone as well.
This is the second vid I’ve watched and it sounds bloody awful here too. I’m really surprised at LR Baggs. It just sounds squashed, won’t be going near it.

I have bartolini 3AV and it doesn’t sounds good. Its not even taking the pickup signal when creating voiceprint preset.
As a non professional it pains me to think about drilling into my Martin
