imagine a formation with a trips on the right (3 WRs) and the TE split wide on the left, QB in the shotgun and HB to the TE side, how would you call it? my guess is "Gun Left Trips Open" maybe with the Weak call for the HB before "Gun". Also, I'd like to know how you differentiate between a trips form made of 3 wrs with the TE on the other side and a trips made of TE and 2 WRs and the 3rd WR on the other side. Thanks
this seams nices, but after watching all your plays like "pro gunright squeeze option I still have no idea what the play is..is it a pass? if so what routes do they run? is it a run if so what hole? so the concept I can build on but I'm not sure what really the play is.
Mike Sparks This is an example of formation terminology. The route combo, protection/blocking and snap count would come after. So the full call with the route /code/ would be "Pro Gun Right Twins Open Zulu /Mesh/ on 2"

I would think that would be up to the HC or the OC if they want to make it a run or pass play.
