Yay...some Commander shout outs :) Urza's block was the last one that added cards to the reserve list...hence crazy expensive cards like Gaea's Cradle

i remember my brothers Sneak Attack deck: If the other player was still alive at turn four, the deck didn't work. He combined Sneak with Pandemonium in an red/black deck. It was disgusting yet highly effective.

Karn, Steel golem? what does that do?
RequiemReforged oh boy, if you run an artifact deck, karn does a whole bunch for you. You’re missing out. Basically you pay some mana and make those artifacts creatures based on their converted cost.
Card Bazaar they’re kidding. because karn is the silver golem, but you said steel golem. this was embarrassing to watch.
@card bazaar yea.. that was kinda me poking at you for saying steel not silver... he was created silver cause in testing it was the metal most resilient to the stresses of time travel before the thran metal was used properly and a "shell" design where it can grow was created. there WAS a card named steel golem in.. weatherlight?

i theorize the R&D team was hijacked by pod people for this block. nothing else explains why cards like tolarian academy exist. sad thing is, there are a lot of cool mechanics and interactions in this block that were forever lost in the sea of first-turn kill garbage that almost killed the game.
