Get some clamps to fix it to the table.
The thickness setting lever should have been inscribed with numbers.

looks good for cookies but it would be nice to see you do pasta in it. And the machine moves around too much on your surface. If you can't clamp it, can you put a piece of rubber mat under the machine?

Beware! We ordered an expensive dough sheeter from Pastaline which arrived damaged, broken, made loud screeching sound first time we turned it on. Obviously damaged during shipping, now they are trying to charge excessive "restocking fee" of over $600. We had the product 2 days before return IN THE SAME PACKING it was received in. Would not trust this company for mechanical or manual devise.
