I have a 66 impala and I noticed on one of your videos on the 65 you have a led retro dash display analog, do you know where i can pick one of those up?

What size and type of wheels did you use at the end of the video? What is the minimum wheel size to fit over this set-up without hitting the calipers?

These wheels are 19" Forgeline OE-1's. Wheel sizes and fitment are going to vary based on the particular brakes being used, but in general, because I have 15" rotors, I needed 19" wheels. It was more about the diameter for clearance purposes, vs, backspacing, as these wheels are designed to be compatible with disc brakes, unlike some older steel wheels that these look like. Hope that helps!

@@ClassicNation Exactly what I was interested in knowing. They are huge for this era of car but actually suit it with the caps you used. And to get super car brakes .. win, win!

@@ClassicNation Thanks for all the info on your 65. I've got a 65 going through full frame off restomod. I currently have 17"s on my 13" rotors. I've been looking at upgrading to the 15"s for added stopping power for my 540 big block. I'll look at the 19" wheels as a result. Can you tell me what size tires are on those??? Having a difficult time figuring out max tire size without well mods. thanks!

With 15" rotors, you def need a 19" wheel! Kind of a same to hide those beautiful brakes, but I get wanting to keep that more stockish appearance.

Hi Nick. Careful you don't get rear ended ! Did you have to change the master cylinder or changing the brakes has no effect on the master cylinder . I think l spotted the coil overs . So l guess the next step is a Lambo engine 😅😅😅😅 Thanks Nick . Say hi to Evan and Dad .

Haha! Thanks John! Will do! I changed the master cylinder as I wanted one designed to work with manual brakes, as opposed to the older power brake master cylinder I had perviously. WOuld the old one have worked? Sure. It just wouldn't have been ideal. Hope that helps!
