Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf TH-cam channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

Florida sure is a mecca for golf & you two are killing it!! Unbelievable amount of deals on golf clubs it seems like everywhere you go. Lots of super nice people as well. Nothing like I imagined only visiting Fort Meyers & Naples. Just found you a couple of weeks ago and really enjoy your videos, narration and personalities. The dogs are (I think) Pyrenean mountain dogs. Used for guarding sheep (and Emu's apparently). They are lovely, gentle dogs but don't bother them while they're working !!!

Hey guys! Another fun adventure! Definitely Emu's. I think the market is called Marion (county name). I haven't been there in years but looks like it is worth the drive.
I know we have high humidity in Florida, but taking a sprinkler "shower" during a round was over the top..... Great fun and as always, interesting finds! Love the channel...
Do a segment on "What is the cheapest full set we can put together" and then play nine holes & see what you score. Bag, woods, irons, wedges, putter. Go through your collection and try to remember as best you can which you paid the least for. Can you come under $200? $100? $50?????

love the wilson blades, so nice to hit. played for around 15 years with a set of nike blades, (wish I never sold them).
also wish we had places like you have over there, our second-hand shops are either the cheap made clubs or if they are decent clubs they are expensive to buy 2nd hand.
oh and the easy way to tell the difference between emu and ostrich is an Emu has 3 toes whilst the ostrich has 2

Use those hickory shafts for nine hole with persimmon woods and a bullseye putter. That's old school, plus long socks !
It's amazing to see someone use the vintage Wilson staffs. Hard to imagine using these for anything other than something like your videos. The new technology is so good it's hard to think about using anything else. Enjoyed the video.

Some Charity shops in the UK do have golf clubs. I picked up a Paragon RS600 #8 iron wood from Eamus in Cashalton for £1 about 1 month ago and a Mizuno TZoid 5 wood for £1.50 in Cats&Dogs on Purley High street. These golf clubs were sweet to hit. There is a kind of snobbery that stops people living and enjoying themselves. John and Ashley are humble and it's one of the reasons many people enjoy their channel.

I got a set of MacGregor Muirfield 20ths 1-SW for Father’s Day and hit the 1 iron off the tee all the time. Those Wilson are sweet too. Keep those videos coming.

Nice find on the Wilson Staff Tour irons! I had my WS Fluid Feel irons bent 3° upright and 3° stronger to match my Lynx Black Cat irons!

Great video guys, in the Alps they use Pyrenees mountain dogs in with the sheep flocks thus the colour and use Leonbergers too patrol the perimeter to protect against wolves, we have a Leonberger and he's even bigger at 95 kilos and he would be more than a match for wolf or two.

Just a comment on those 'hickory' shafted clubs, they look like they may be steel shafts with a wood paint finish. It was hard to tell but the shaft seems to be quite dark in color? Hickory Shafts are always light and obviously wood but when the steel shafts first came out the manufacturers made them look wooden as that was what people were used to.
Your clubs there would be about 80 to 90 years old if they are steel shafted as the steel took over in 1929.
They use some weird term for that coating. They have been known to have the coating flake off, apparently chrome was not to good on shafts back when the steel 1st came out, and if the coating comes off they rust pretty easily. There is a fellow who has 2 videos on those, but they are the English versions, it would be nice to see someone who has a collection like him with the American versions of the 1st steels with WOOD look coatings.

we had imported came from Great Britain as we are a part of the British empire or as it's called The Commonwealth.
I agree that it would be very interesting to see what American versions of that looked like.
@@justtowatch111 Me and the british fellow who did the video with the british series was on the Painted steel/coated steel shaft clubs, which I know there would have been alot of American makers. approx. years of that, was late 30's til according to the British gentleman were even into the 1950's. Chroming got much better and mainly the only steel shaft maker back then was True Temper. Hickory wonder if there were any american makers. We are taking almost 100 years ago, and then some.

I always heard it as, when golfing in a thunderstorm. Hold your 1 iron because even God can't hit a 1 iron.
