      Edgar G. Bruce Lee’s scene is a figment of Cliff’s imagination; he imagines working on Kurt Russell’s set and encountering Bruce lee, so the Bruce lee we see on screen is not the film’s or filmmaker’s perception of him, but cliff’s.

    Brilliant scene. Margot as Sharon watching herself on screen, and it’s actually the real Sharon on screen. It is sensitive and funny and loving, and Sharon has a humorous pratfall in her scene, and Tarantino is so happy to give “Sharon her own laugh, in our movie”. Lots of love for this!

    Margot Robbie is unbelievably attractive in this movie and in real life, and yet Sharon Tate was even more stunning, just a singular beauty that only gets more graceful as time passes. I think many feel Sharon could be argued as the most beautiful woman that has ever walked the earth.

    • @BeatlesBiene
      @BeatlesBiene ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I personally find Margot more stunning. She also has a beautiful open smile that just seems much more authentic to me than what I've seen of Tate so far. Tate's always seems so plastered on to me. And I've seen many more women that I find more appealing than Tate. Somehow though she's gained this status of being some sort of goddess of beauty/flawless angel. The way she died and the fact that she was highly pregnant surely contributed to this perception in a massive way. Turned into some symbol of purity and perfection...how very lame... Picturing her as a flawed human being as we all are and I'm 100% she was too would make her as a person and her story much more relatable and her more appealing to me...

    The Margot/Tate cinema scene will go down as one of the greats of all time. I actually didn't realize it was real footage of Tate from The Wrecking Crew as the direction and editing are so seamless. Subliminally I did notice the 2 faces are quite different but put it down to makeup and wardrobe. Tarentino has masterfully brought Sharon Tate to life in this film. I've seen several Manson docos and they usually only show an old B&W photo of her. It's such a tragedy as she was married to Polanski and no doubt was on the cusp of landing a major role.

    Tarantino is one of the best ever. People usually see movies based on the actors or actresses in it, it's rare people see movies based on who directed it. That speaks volumes to just how great a director he is. Spielberg is the only one that was close in that regard. Hope he doesn't call it quits anytime soon. If he does, at least I still have two of his movies to watch I haven't seen yet: "Inglorious Bastards" and "Django Unchained".

    Sharon is a symbol of what can go wrong to an actress regardless of how naive or innocent. Sharon got out of bed Friday august 8 th 1969 and had no idea that she had had her last nights full sleep and was about to have her last full day of life on this planet. She had yearned and was anticipating having her son who was due august 18 th just 10 days away. Had Sharon lived she’d be 80 yrs old and her son 54 years old this August 18 th. Look at what was taken. It pales in comparison to the tragedy of the horror Sharon went through the last 15 minutes of her life. The last face she saw was that of Atkins and Watson stabbing her repeatedly without mercy. She witnessed the death of her unborn baby wearing just a bra and panties with a rope around her neck . Pure evil - not of the devil but of man’s making. At least when Jesus was being crucified Jesus knew for sure there was a God. Unless an angel appeared to Sharon at some point she experienced this evil alone calling out “ mother” as Atkins has stated.

    It's great to watch how almost manically turned--on he gets as he digs deep into the almost metatphysical aspect of filmmaking, making and appearing in and watching movies within movies. Cause that's one of the many many cool things about the movie, how he includes all these snatches of '60's pop culture, from period-accurate NBC sounders after fake Jake Cahill commercials, to scenes from "Mannix" (complete with Cliff gamely drawling "Yeah!" right after Mannix parrots '60's lingo "You know how musicians are. They're temperamental cats!")
