I personally like Intel but most people would tell you to go AMD. The 14900K is a beast to cool and uses more power than the 7800x3d. If all you do is game, the AMD would be cheaper, and runs cooler and you wont notice any real performance difference, especially if you play at higher resolution, its gpu bound. The i9 will be better if you also video edit, and do other things too. I have a personal axe to grind with AMD, so I personally prefer intel, but AMD is really making it hard to stay brand loyal lol
@@coolbilly3605 The 4080 would be fine, but if you can wait a few month the 5080 is coming out, so prices might drop on the 4080. I have the regular 4080, and it can run any game today at 1440p and most any at 4k over 60 fps, As time goes on, you may need to lower some settings for triple a titles in a few years, but a 4080 super will work great at 1440p for a good 5 years to come, IMHO
Hey! I'm thinking about getting a 4080 super. I was wondering if I should get the I9 14900k or the Ryzen 7 7800x3d?

@ okay, thank you. And also, in your opinion, do you think the 4080 super will be a good 1440p to 4k gaming card for the next 2-3 years?
